June 11, 2021 I went into the store with 3 other people & parked in the gas pump (there was no one there & we weren’t going to get gas but snacks) we grabbed what we wanted & went to go pay and the lady asked if we wanted gas since we were parked there and we answered no and she rudely said that there was all these parking and we decided to park there? That if we couldn’t read the sign that she put up on the door, we said no and she started going off about us parking there & we felt embarrassed and said sorry, moral story we have went to this store twice & there was no sign on the door since she didn’t say anything then until now. She could have said it in a better tone. They need to appreciate who buys from this store. If it wasn’t for customers they wouldn’t be opened .

Delicious, authentic Mexican food. The chipotle chicken enchiladas were amazing.I never expected to get fabulous Mexican food from a gas station!

I live right by it. When I was little, my brother and I used to call it the Candybar Store. Im not entirely sure who currently owns it, but when Bruce did it was awesome

This is the best place for me to buy cigarettes! American spirits are only $11! The owner was very nice and let me use my card. Make sure to have ID ready if under 30 years.- Alex

Very loud and obnoxious ads play while you try to pump gas. Not coming here again.

At first this gas station had a super rude owner but they seem to had to get rid of him and now they have some awesome new workers. They finally have a bathroom and they even serve tacos and stuff. Definitely recommended now the old owners gone.

Rude!! Pulled up to the gas pump (only one other pump was in use, and that person was pulling away) and walked inside. Immediately the worker stopped helping a customer to ask me if Im getting gas. I said I wasnt sure and he told me to move my car. It was embarrassing. So I move my car, went back inside just to have the workers stare at me until I made my purchase and left. Neither workers were wearing masks (covid). I was, so maybe that freaked them out? Looking at past reviews, obviously the people who work here are nasty.

Great food! Snacks, candy, chips, they got it. Great owner! He takes pride in his company. Good pricing. Its cool they have a restaurant now. Very good food. Plenty of fuel to fill the ride. One stop shop.

Known the owner for 17 years seeing that it is the closet gas station to me. Great customer service, friendly and convenient!! Great place

Worst customer service on the planet. I will never return to this place for the lack of respect the employee/owner has for other human beings. He may even be the reason the term small man syndrome exists! Dont use a coupon or hell have a temper tantrum bc he has to put on his reading glasses!! Oh yeah, and be sure not to swipe your credit card too quick or hell throw a fit! He literally grabbed my hand in anger, it was a bit scary. I dare you to park at a pump without buying fuel (because the lot is full since he has like 3+ vehicles parked there)! 😅

Couldn’t get the gas pump to run my card. Guy working there just asked “is it a corporate card?” Then just winced and shrugged... nice guy but all I wanted was gas and this was the first thing I did this morning. Not a good way to wake up and I’m not happy

Its an old place but it works for what i need. And the staff are really cool and nice. All two of them. XP

Will never go here, went there today to buy Milk, bread n some sodas and because i parked in one of the gas pumps and wasnt putting gas the idiot(older gentleman with white hair)inside went off the moment i walked in saying how much gas i was putting in, to which i said i wasnt but i was still buying other stuff and he goes if someone drives off on the other side of that pump thats $50, the arrogant attitude its what made it irritating, so i walked out and went to the Holiday on Galaxie ave and 140th which always always has good service, if that was the owner hes a moron. Im a small business owner myself(automotive shop, 8 years and counting) and i would never do what that person did.

The staff there are nice and cool and they have good food there

The boss is stuck up, bipolar, and treats younger customers very poorly. But sadly, its the closest gas station to are neighborhood. I wish there was a way to report this non-sense but its practically impossible considering hes the owner. The only thing youre able to do is avoid the store, and especially its owner.

At first i thought he was ok and nice but until i walked in there on july 13 2018 and grabbed a pack of 35 cent pack of gum put it on the counter and said i just want this so i can pull out my cash in my Ebt card and he said i dont give cash back and started yelling and screaming get out get out get out of my store now because i said all stores have to give cash back he is delusional or on drugs or something ive herd him yell at children when they werent doing anything wrong because they were pulling a little kid in a wagon in his store and he yelled at them to leave it outside or else they needed to leave i rate this store a zero for how rude he is boss or not i will never go back to this store even if he apoligizes he scared me to death yelling at me and i wanted to press charges on him but the cops when i called them out there the officer said it wouldnt be enough just dont give him ur business anymore then so he really scared me tho i was shaking up and thats bad when the customer has to call cops on store because he cant control his temper with customers i can suggest yall not to go here no matter how desperate or close dont go here he put fear in me and made me cry in tears and his store needs to be shut down or under new owner because he likes to be highly controling waaaaayyyyy to much that gives him the power of his store to treat customers any way he wants and to me putting fear in some one is NOT ok ever we all need to get together and take him to court for his rudely poor and. Scareing customers how he treats every one in his store and yelling at the food lady when i was in there around the fourth of july he was yelling at that lady that ran the food part but ee dont need that kinda buisness around here either he needs to take his poor business else where or just dont go there and dont give him ur buisness

Honestly in shock by how poorly my friend and I were treated at this place. The boss tried closing early by shutting all the lights off, got mad at us for coming within the posted operating hours, approached us with a crowbar, and even cussed at us while we were checking out. Absolutely ridiculous way to interact with your customers. DO NOT GO HERE
