Im new to the area so when my check engine light came on I wasnt sure who to take it to for service. Auto Select ran the code for me for free and I didnt need an appointment, they just did it quick when I stopped by. It turned out after that and a more extensive diagnostic, that I needed an expensive cylinder replacement. I called many mechanics in the area because I had no idea who was trustworthy or what a fair price was. Many places never answered their phones or returned my calls. Of those that I did speak with Auto Select was the best priced option. Additionally everyone else was booking out a week or more to do the work. Auto Select was able to get started same day. There were no surprises price wise when I picked it up and they gave a very thorough explanation of everything about the general condition of my vehicle. It now drives much better and Im very happy with the experience all around. Next time I will know who go go to without feeling the need to check around so much because theyre earned my trust.

As always, the Auto Select team did a great job on my car. My vehicle runs very smooth like when I purchased it. My transmission was making this weird noise and it was because the fluids in transmission hadnt been changed in quite some time. No more weird noise and car runs smoothly. I absolutely love this place!!!! I took my 2002 Mercedes in with so many issues. I didnt know if it could even be saved. I knew it was going to be pricey but Im a single mom who doesnt have $3,000 for a repair. My normal mechanic couldnt get my car in for another few weeks so I started reading reviews and doing research. They have the most reviews and the highest reviews. Im so glad I found them!! They were able to find some used parts and because of that, they were able to cut the cost and make it so I could actually afford it. Especially with the Mercedes parts. Not one time did they judge me and they also only fixed what was absolutely necessary. I cannot thank them enough. It took awhile to fix, but Im assuming thats because of them getting and ordering the used parts. They are my new mechanic and I will tell everyone I know.Thank you guys so much for getting me back on the road!!!

As always they do a professional job. Never try to convince you you need something that you really dont need like Bergstrom Auto Dealerships does . They are very helpful and knowledgeable . I have been going to Auto Select for years and never disappointed . As far as prices for repairs are very good. This is the ONLY shop that I would trust bringing my vehicle to. Staff are always trying to find a reasonable resolution to a repair with the costumer before they go and do the work. Everyone leaves there shop with confidence that the work was done right the first time.

I was in a pinch, just passing through while traveling around the country as an adventure blogger, and they were able to service my car quickly with the replacement of air shocks on my GMC Yukon. They were very professional, reasonably priced and the vehicle rides very smooth now. I would highly recommend them.

March 2021, I had my van towed to Auto Select the day after I paid $250 for a tune-up by another mechanic and it died in the middle of the street. The Auto Select guys said it was the fuel system clogged with sledge (a strong word). The invoice said the system was cleaned with a $50 chemical treatment. When they called me to tell me the problem I received a list of other repairs I should have done in order not to cause more serious damage to the vehicle. I told these guys repeatedly I was in the middle of moving (half belongings at one address and half at another address) and i was on a deadline to get out of my old apt. I was under alot of pressure. My pleas did not register in the least, the guy on the phone kept up the hard sell, pressing for additional repairs. So I agreed to do the rear shocks just so I could get my car back. I paid $425 for repairs. It is now June 2021, my car is doing the same thing it was doing in March before i had it towed twice, paid 2 mechanics/shops and spent $775. Thank you Wisconsin professionals for looking out for this old lady!

While traveling to Appleton, my sisters driver side headlight burnt out. I called Auto Select to see if they would be able to change it for her and she was able to get it done the following day. They were efficient and professional. Highly recommend them as when I lived in Appleton this is were I took my vehicle for maintenance and repairs.

Professional garage, multiple locations, easy to get in for work, quick turnaround, accurate estimates, competitive prices. Always let me know if they notice other issues starting to come up, but never push extra work on me. For background, Im 40 and do most of the easier repair jobs myself so I understand a fair amount about what goes into their work and am always happy with their service. One of the two best garages Ive worked with.

I’ve always brought my vehicles here for routine maintenance on my cars. Decided to bring a new car for its first oil change and it took them almost 3 hours. Cut to the chase . . . I took my car to the dealer this time for the second oil change and I was notified of oil spillage in places it shouldn’t of been in. The employees here are great and customer service is usually awesome which is why I come here. Unfortunately with the vehicle I currently own, my business will be taken elsewhere. Just wish I was notified, which is why I didn’t mind waiting during the unexpected 3 hours but just felt like the important information wasn’t delivered to the customer.

A few weeks back I called to see if they could get me in because the heat in my car wasnt working. They got me in same day and fixed the issue quickly. I was also able to get a same day oil change and tire rotation which was great! The prices are reasonable as well and I like their rewards program.

I have relied on these guys to tell me whats wrong, as well as what to do about it. Their advice has always been honest and I have never felt like Im in danger of them padding the bill.I trust them to take care of my care and myself with honesty and integrity.

Very fast and friendly staff, they checked out my oil leak and have noticed that the previous car shop I went wasn’t doing anything about my car and was adding random clips. They fixed it in one day, and I got scheduled right away. Super happy with their service and will go there from now on.

For the most part they are good. They have always got it done same day. The manager Tony Gore is very nice to deal with and I have never had to take it back for same problem.

Auto select was professional and helped me select a reasonably affordable towing company they use. First of all im grateful they are knowledgeable with working on hybrids. Second they were able to get the car part for my car and fix it all in less then a day, with same day pick up. I also added on asking if they could fix my tire and they did that as well the same day. Their labor prices are affordable and they have a nice rewards program!

Auto Select did the brake lines on my sons car. they could have gotten away with only replacing a section of the brake line, but they took it upon themselves to inspect all the brake lines. I was then notified that all the brake lines on the other side of the car were looking bad. So we had them replace all of the brake lines on the front half of the car. Not only was a job well done, it was very complete and clean. And it was all done at a very fair price, considering they had to hand Bend all of the new brake lines. I highly recommend Auto Select. Tony and his team were not only nice, they also had a very professional attitude.

Great service helped me get my truck back on the road

Very disappointed with the service. I scheduled an oil change on a Monday and dropped it off on the weekend before. Monday comes and it’s 2PM so I call to ask if/when my car will be ready. I’m told they’re very busy today and cannot give me an ETA.By the time 4:30 rolls around I call again. Told that they’ve been slammed but that my vehicle is next and will be done before they close at 6 PM.At 5:50, I arrive to the shop (was never called, as well), only to find out that the work has not been performed AT ALL and the work was somehow pushed back to Tuesday, despite NEVER informing me, and assurances that the work would be done by close. Very disappointed, and sadly will not return.

I have an older vehicle that was making some noise. Got an inspection and estimate for 0 charge. Brought my car in the following Monday morning as soon as they opened with no notice and they had my car finished by the end of the day. Very honest and nice guys, that is not always easy to find. Reasonable pricing. Would recommend!

My heat in my 2012 Town and Country was not consistently working. I had taken it to a reputable dealership and they changed the thermostat but that didnt fix the problem. Another mechanic shop automatically scheduled a head gasket change. Knowing the price on that, I wanted to be sure thats what it was. A coworker of mine got me in touch with Auto Select. I explained my issues and they told me I could bring it in and they could run some tests. I took it in right away and within 2 hours they called and said they figured it out! That my radiator was leaking and needed to be replaced. They handled it right away and before the end of my work day like I asked! I have heat now! I definitely recommend Auto Select! They were friendly, helpful, thorough and knowledgeable!

Strait forward no haggling just get the job done and for the price as stated. Would suggest this place to anybody. Also from the few times Ive been here so far, they where nice and friendly people.

Being east coast transplants we tried a few other small shops before we went with Auto Select (Appleton North location). I requested service via email with a detailed list of scheduled manufacturer maintenance and personal requests and it was quite long. They came and picked up our SUV and had it back by the end of the day with a multiple page itemized receipt with a breakdown of each item (i.e. fluids inspected, changed, test drive verified). It was a substantial amount of work (and money!) but they took excellent care of the vehicle and I have the peace of mind that everything was done properly and to manufacturer spec. If you’re a pain like me and are very particular about service Auto Select is excellent and comprehensive.

Their repair work is top quality, prices are reasonable and quoted accurately. They repaired the brakes on our Jaguar XF charging us $300 less than the dealer quoted! I went to another shop in town (Grishaber) and (thankfully) the service writer was so horrible I continued my search and found these guys (worked with Codie at Auto Select). My issue with my car had the guys there at Auto Select searching for a reasonable cost efficient answer for me. They went above and beyond (even getting vendors involved) to find me a part for well less than half of what I was quoted at Grishaber. Codie and the others at Auto Select were very professional and found a solution in a timely matter. I also got my car in and out the same day my part came in. THE NORTHLAND LOCATION SPECIFICALLY.. After first meeting Codie and getting my first handshake (not the last) I knew I was dealing with someone who wasnt going to screw me over. In fact I had a lot more wrong than initially expected. But Codie took the time to explain what else needed attention and the importance if doing it now instead of later! Even after it was all was done, at a very affordable price considering about the 4 different things that needed to be done to truly resolve the issue.... I was shocked at how low my bill was. I WILL BE BACK! And your going to need a bigger building for the long term referrals Ill be handing out!:)

Horrible experience. I asked to have an oil change with regular oil, not the synthetic. They changed the oil with synthetic and charged me quite a bit more. They found things that needed to be replaced on the car, gave me a quote to have all of it done. The cost for all of it was approximately $1,000. I told the mechanic that I could not afford these repairs. The mechanic tried to change my mind, when I told him that I could not afford the repairs he became extremely rude. I read the reviews from other customers, it must be that Im a dumb woman in their mind. This was absolutely the worse car repair experience that I have ever had. Since then I took my car to Dans Tire in Seymour WI. The entire repair to my rear brakes, including parts and labor, came to $ 207.00, complete with a free loaner vehicle! Bye Bye Auto Select Appleton North!

Recently had my car in for a AC bsically rebuild, front of car was assumingly removed, i now have cracks in fan cover, and plastic on the grill, i was also charged for an AC dye-pack leak detector, that was never tested and now my AC leaks and no longer have AC once again after paying out nearly $1400 in repairs, NOT HAPPY i pay high attention to detail as the car is everything i have put my money into and take care of it better than anything out there, really would love for it to be resolved but all i get offered is to throw more money towards something that they messed up..
