Its very unfortunate that if I get a present and I decided to return it, the return goes back to the same cc of the buyer. (my son) either that or store credit. Which I didnt want either. But those were my only two options. Even with gift receipt.A bit embarrassed had to go back to my son and tell him I returned his gift. And the money is back on his cc.I know many stores have this now days. But in situations like this there have to be more options to accommodate the customer. I dont know maybe a credit to a mall card, Simons card... where I have more options not only the one store. Just saying.

We usually shop at Williams- Sonoma not at Appleton but since we came here we wanted to buy few things.Today they had 40%off marble, bronze, chutiere boards. In this area we found a marble glass with some cocktail stirrers, based on the display we asked if that one was the last and the discounted price, the person who was helping us was friendly. However according to the manager that marble piece had regular price and didnt belong there. The sales person tried to clarify that was one of the pieces that were supposed to be discounted BUT MANAGER didnt bother she has a terrible attitude. We definitely wont comeback to this location. Couple customers left after they witness the managers unprofessional behavior.

I like Williams-Sonoma in general but this store has always had an unwelcoming vibe. Ive visited this store at least 3 times and each time its been the same way. Perhaps its that the sales associates greet and offer to help everyone but me? I typically prefer to just browse on my own and get help when needed but I think if you are greeting everyone it should be everyone..There is one sales person who is knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful-Leah.The other time I shopped here in person a year ago she was also the only helpful and welcoming person.

A nice store with a good variety of foods and a tasty selection in the deli. For years they have had a heart for charity by putting up trees for people to choose a mitten which lists a childs age and sex so a Christmas gift can be given. They care about the community

While they had exactly what I was looking for (Le Cruset 4.5L pot), the sales associate was rather rude and condescending. She implied that I couldnt afford the pot and implied the same to my friends in the store. We bought the pot, but I will never return.

Very overpriced and limited selection of items. Staff seemed unhappy. Was not a comfortable store to be in.

Over-priced and always snobby help. Dont wear a sweatshirt in here or youll be ignored.

One of my favorite stores. It reads odd, but as much as I like the every-day item, the discount section for me is where its at. Usually spices or sauces I normally would not jump into I will if the discount is there.The books are very well varied with lots of different options, and again... If discounted? What better reason to add to your library.The staff really make it warm and inviting. One could sing their praises easily. Happy to help, look for items, order it in, the whole deal that shines with professionalism.

I love the store in Appleton, WI and have been shopping here for years. Connie has assisted me many times and is knowledgable, friendly, and goes over and beyond to help me. But, if you shop at night, beware of Amber the manager.... she is the complete opposite!

I liked going there and shopping and found gifts for special people at christmas this year.

This is my go-to kitchen place for helpful service and necessary gadgets for the kitchen. I called this morning (and they answered before the store was even open) to ask them about an item I saw online. Verlinda was able to confirm that they had the item in the store AND since there was an extra 20% that day in the store, she offered to process the sale over the phone, so I wouldnt have to worry about getting to the store the same day.Verlinda was very helpful and so great at being proactive.

Worker was snobby, and kind of rude, and really didnt seem to know what i was looking for....very cold unfriendly environment

What a jumping place. If you need something nice for the kitchen and can afford it that is the place to go I think they have everything even the kitchen sink.

I have tried shopping here twice, the first time I wanted to buy a Kitchenaid stand mixer and the second time I was trying to decide between a Wusthof knife set or a Shun Classic set. On both occasions I felt completely ignored and even discriminated against. The store employees didnt bother saying hello and I know they saw me because I tried initiating some kind of conversation so that I could ask about the knife set. As I was looking for help both times I waited at the counter as they had lengthy conversations with other people who werent buying anything. The first time I just decided to walk out and purchase my stand mixer on Amazon because I literally waited 45 minutes for somebody to acknowledge my existence as I stood by the counter. I dont even know why I went back. The second time was no different. I had my husband hail somebody down only to wait by the knives another 20 minutes. Needless to say I ordered online again.
