Great place to buy shoes!

Went to Ballera in Milwaukee to buy our first pair of pointe shoes after they refused to fit my daughter for shoes here.Went back to this store with her new instructor a few weeks ago to buy her second pair of pointe shoes. This pair lasted my daughter less than four hours of wear before her instructor deemed them dead.Contacted the store, no return call as promised.Contacted manufacturer, Russian Pointe, they got back to me in under two business days stating that the store should submit photos & claim for defective pair of shoes.Contacted the store again, still no response.Going back to Ballera this weekend for another new pair of pointe shoes from a reputable store.VERY disappointed in their customer service!

DONT shop here. No communication and they WILL try to sell you the wrong shoes!!!!!!! If you might end up needing to cancel a order, be prepared for an attitude and attempt to be sold something else again!!!! Buy online or through your dance studio!!!!!

I bought toddler tap shoes from here and they lasted two 30 minute classes until the bottoms came off the shoe. I did not let my daughter play with them and I helped her put them on and take them off. I called about the issue few times and the store was closed for summer vacation so I left a message and they never bothered to get back to me. I am so disappointed in the quality of these shoes. I should not have to buy the same size in toddler shoes. Their feet grow so fast. But I have no choice. These tap shoes literally fell apart. I will not be buying anything from this store again.

We ordered tap shoes the middle of July so theyd arrive well before my daughter began lessons. I called mid-to-late August to check on the status, since I hadnt received a call, and was told that my order from July 16 hadnt been placed until after August 1. Apparently they had closed for ten days starting July 22, which I had not been informed of -- I would have ordered from Amazon, but was looking forward to making this experience special for my daughter. The person I spoke with was extremely rude and didnt offer an explanation as to why my order from July 16 wasnt placed sometime between July 16-22, instead telling me that the shoes should be in sometime next week. I was very disappointed with the lack of communication (my order sat for 16 days without being placed, and without my knowledge), the lack of courtesy for guests on the phone, and unprofessional-ism. I understand they have loads of business and many loyal customers, but this was my first experience and Im SO unimpressed. :(
