Love this cozy little diner with the stools by the counter and open kitchen. Plus their food is great and reasonable. Carley was our server and she is always cordial and helpful. Our go to place for breakfast.
Best little Diner in the Fox Valley. The employees are so friendly and they work together as a team, unlike most places these days. You feel like part of a family while there. The food is always fresh and very tasty. The employees are always smiling, accommodating, professional.

My husband didn’t get all the food with the Denver omelette and my corn beef has was burned at the bottom. When said something to waitress it was I’m sorry never tried to fix the issue. When called to say something to manager in morning just brushed it off.

My Mom is visiting from NYC... So we took a trip to Appleton WI... and drove by a cute little cafe which my Mom noticed... So we went in.... Customer service was excellent... food was delicious... But best of all the price was very reasonable... Will definitely return with the rest of my family.
I love this place. I get a half hour for lunch and they get me in and out of there with plenty of time to get back to work on time! The husband and wife are my favorite cook/waitress combo.
Girlfriend ordered eggs Benedict when ordering was asked how she wanted her eggs done lol?? As far as I know eggs Benedict is only made poached so she confusingly answered “poached?” When it came out the eggs Benedict was done over easy and there was hair in her hash browns and eggs. I had the cookies and cream stuffed French toast with eggs it tasted good but there was Oreos over most of my eggs a side plate could’ve been helpful lol
We visit this place often. The food is great and the servers make you feel like family. We found this place when we came from out of town. But now that we live here, its its once a week family dinner.

KUDOS to the manager; and again kudos. Today, there was a lady with 2 kids, of which one was unruly, noisy, & horribly annoying. Patrons were upset & my spouse and I were about to leave for quieter dining. The manager stepped in and asked her to leave as it was obvious she couldnt control her child. Normalcy was restored to the diner thanks to the manager. Kudos!!!

Been here a few times. One day waited almost 2 hrs for burger n fries. Today waitress looked high as a rocket couldn’t remember my drink or order. Good burned all bad won’t be back.
So I have been slowly making my way to the different diners in the area. This one was a little off the radar for me and I found it by accident while driving by it but saw the word diner and knew that I had to try it. The diner itself is a nice, cozy little place and it wasnt too busy when I went around 20 am on a Thursday.I ordered the plate with eggs, hashbrowns, sausage links and toast. I also ordered a pancake because you cant eat at a diner without a pancake. The food was excellent. I always ask for extra crispy hashbrowns which is a fine line between burnt and normal hashbrowns. These were perfect and they complemented the eggs and sausage nicely. The buttermilk pancake was nothing spectacular but it was good and I would order it again.The staff was very warm and welcoming. They made sure my coffee was topped and asked before filling it so they wouldnt throw off the cream/sugar/coffee balance.I will definitely eat here again and cant wait to to try their lunch/dinner menu.

Little diner was the spot for late night food runs in high school. Their food is always quality and their menu is so huge. Great place to go for breakfast or really any time of day. The service is always exceptional!
My husband and I come here almoat every weekend in the summer for breakfast and we are never disappointed. The staff is friendly and quick [even when they are at capacity], the food is always delicious! With covid happening they have put up barriers inside at each table and have outdoor seating options as well. Its small and quiet and we love it!

Good food excellent breakfast and cheap prices. Chili and soups are actually made instead of coming out of a bag or can. Friendly staff. Offer indoor and outdoor seating outdoor has umbrellas so your not in the sun. Definitely recommend. Has 2 unisex bathrooms which are cold in the winter
Our food was done and sat under the heating lamps for near 10 minutes before the waiter came and brought it to us. Asked for sauces, he sat on his phone in full view while we waited an additional 7 minutes to get condiments. Sat waiting 45 minutes to get our bill brought to us. Jackets on, waiting for it. Never been more tempted to walk out on a bill before.Food was decent, service was abysmal.

I’m fairly new to the Appleton area, but this place certainly leaves your belly feeling happy full. Portions are just right. I’m surprised I’m not bloated after eating here. Also the hostess remembered my name and what I ordered from the last time. 💯🍳☕️

Horrible place. Undercooked and over cooked food.... got food poisoning. Staff was rude. Got a malt and literally was so much chocolate in it that it tasted horrible. Didnt even give us straws or silver ware. Had to ask for it. Never going here again.
Food was really good, service was great. Had the cobb salad with avocado (so good!) with a chocolate malt... mmmm! My dad ordered the chorizo Benedict and said it was amazing. Well be back again!
Great service and tasty food. We had a Denver omlete and onion rings. Very good and the mochas were perfect. Not to sweet but really creamy. We definitely advise anyone to have a great meal.

Was feeling some breakfast for dinner tonight and decided to stop in. Had a lovely atmosphere and extremely friendly and attentive wait staff. The food was particularly good this evening. I’m told the chef was Laurie excellent job. For sure will be back. Seriously try the hash browns.
Today was my first time visiting this hidden gem. My girls and I just loved it. Great food short wait time and amazing cookie milkshake. Leanne our waitress was awesome too. Very friendly and attentive. We are definitely coming back .
Google says that they are not open for dine in right now, but they are! The seating is limited, due to the fact that they have taken extra precautions for social distancing. Definitely visit them!

I went in after dropping my daughter off at the ER. I was really stressed because of that, and that I was locked out of my car. I had my 3yo grandson with me and the staff made sure he had everything he needed. I regret I didn’t get the man’s name that attended to us, but he was amazing. He even got under the table to plug my charger in because my phone was low and that was how I kept my little guy occupied. The food was great and the service was way above my expectations. Thank you so much for an excellent experience. I definitely recommend it!
Was in this morning 10/26/19 and the gentleman cooking did such an amazing job! We frequent here all the time and enjoy the food and hospitality. The servers are always super friendly and make you feel at home and the food is delicious and very reasonable pricing! Would give this a 6 star if I could!Thanks

The two waitresses were very efficient and were very friendly. From my experience, takes a little time to get your order but probably because its pretty busy and only two cooks pumping out food. Food is served hot and is always very good.

Yummy! And always open! Love the saltwater fish tank. Cool staff. Consistent. Was open all night is sad theres no where to eat in the middle of the night in the 🦊 valley. Cant wait for their hours to go back to normal. Love the salads, shakes, and classic menu. They are now closed in the night super bummer the only other place over was Dennys 24 hours
I had the florentine sandwich which was awesome. Service is good. I wish they would not allow business meetings tho I dont know how you would stop it. I dont want to hear a sales pitch when I eat from other customers talking too loud. This place is small and cozy. Really a nice atmosphere for breakfast.
We wanted a break from fast food chain restaurants . A nice little diner . Good value and quality food. Would hv cost the same if we had McDonald meals. 😂 salmon sandwich (at least 1.5 inch salmon steak!!) was really good and perfectly cooked (sometimes salmon can be over cooked) according to my husband. I had omelette with ham, cheese, mushrooms, tomato and jalapeños. My omelette was filled with the ingredients!!! Highly recommend this place. I would definitely come back again to try the Big D -double breakfast!! 😂😂😂 ps: cappuccino is good!!!
This place is the hidden gem in the fox valley area! Quick, good service and delicious food! You have to stop here if youre in town, you wont regret it. I always get the meat lovers scrambler. Yum!
I normally love the food and adore the service here. There was one incident that I just cannot forget: Me, and two other friends got sick from their food, about 36 hours after eating it. It was the only common factor, and it definitely was food poisoning. Now, this is the only time this had happened, and this isn’t directly why I’m rating only 3 stars. The main reason for 3 stars is when I called the diner and explained what had happened. I wasn’t trying to get free food, or even report them. I specifically told them I was just bringing it to their attention. They kept treating me as if I wanted free food. I tried to reword it many times, but it was like talking to a brick wall. I received a $10 gift card, but because of the blatant rudeness, I still have not gone back since then. There’s something about being treated like a snake for just trying to warn them of ill food that I cannot forgive. This was some time ago, so maybe management has changed...eat at your own risk.
Im giving this place a 1, because their burgers are horrible. Small and you can taste the soy! Their breakfast is great .. very disappointed in the other..
This used to be the best place to go. Especially at 2am when you wanted a cute intimate date night. Now, its gone downhill. Showed up an hour and a half before closing time and they already shut off the grill, the food we could order came out slow and it was hard to flag down the one waiter that was in there to get help because he was serving a place that was filling up with petite who all werent happy about them closing the grill early. That was a few months ago. Havent been back since and will never return. Sad what youve done to my once favorite diner.
This is a very nice little place. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need!! The food is awesome. I recommend the salmon, loved it. And the prices are reasonable. I will make a point of stopping here whenever I get to Appleton!
Breakfast eaten here. Eggs over medium still had runny whites, bacon was delicious! Sausage patties were good. French toast was on the dry side. The furnishings were worn and dirty. High chair sticky. Service was fair.
This was George Webb for many years and much remained the same when it became Little Diner Express. Its a place to get a robust breakfast, quick service and pretty much all the coffee you want. I always order 1 pancake, an egg sunnyside up and fresh fruit. Its not on the menu but they cheerfully accept my order and its always great!
Extremely pleased with not only the service but the food! We’ve always wanted to stop here and finally got a chance to. Will definitely be visiting again soon. The environment is so laid back and the people were amazing!! Thank you for such great service!!
