I don’t get all the negative reviews. The owner was very friendly towards me and I didn’t feel un welcome at all. Awesome store and amazing selection. Will be back!

Clean and well kept, only Korean market around with things you cant find at other Asian markets in Appleton!I may not understand the old mans intentions but he did follow me like the reviews say and it did make me uncomfortable, otherwise the place itself is great.

The owner of this store is very abrasive, grumpy, and rude. He made feel extremely uncomfortable as if I was bothering him by coming into the store and looking around. Ive given this store several chances and his attitude is the same everytime. Customer service should be the number one priority for a business. I wont be coming here again.

Good products but some a bit pricey. Being the only Korean market in Appleton, this is enough :)

Stopped in to purchase ingredients to make Beef Bulgogi from the Joanna Gaines cookbook. I thought the older gentleman who works at the store was super helpful and recommended certain products. Also bought fish cakes; the same ones that Koreana served by their original owners. Will return.

I should’ve read the reviews before coming here.. first and last time coming here.. old guy was sketchy and rude like the reviews says.. i was browsing around and i was being watched as if i was going to steal something by the old korean dude.. try to give small talk but he didnt care.. dont know where the positive reviews came from(prb close friends and relatives) try supporting all other small oriental business as i can but wont be coming back to this one..

Such an amazing store! Small and organized not overwhelming at all and by far the beat kimchi around! Try the cucumber kimchi and the mustard leave one also. They are worth it. This will from now on be my favorite place to shop!

A little over priced but I love kimchi and side dishes are good but the owner (male) doesnt appear very kind.

Best place for sushi ingredients in town. They carry a good variety of frozen and other non perishables. They have a small cooler section where they usually have some interesting prepared foods including kimchee and varieties of miso. The gentleman is very helpful on finding goods and making recommendations. If I am looking for something special I call ahead and they let me know if they carry it. Some foods like meat are frozen in the back so you should ask if you are not finding what you need.

If I could leave 0 stars I would, the store owner or worker followed me around watching me as if I was going to steal something.

I love this store. If you dont know it, there is a cook in the back using family recipes and you can tell as soon as you ite into any of the amazing foods they offer.

Very good selection of delicious kimchi varieties at good prices. Also lots of frozen Korean and Japanese foods.

Back when me and my Japanese wife were living in Wisconsin in 09-10, finding Asian food was damn near impossible. We searched high and low, and this place was by far the best place to go, bar none. The selection is primarily catered to Southeast Asian cuisine (Thai, Vietnamese, Hmong, Filipino), but they were willing to order products outside of their range should you need anything. Most things are reasonably priced, and the staff was EXTREMELY friendly and helpful; I dare say it was the friendliest staff Ive ever had the pleasure of dealing with. They also have a rental shop, although this is primarily catered to the local Hmong population, so brush up on your Hmong if you want to enjoy the movies.They also have a REALLY good and surprisingly inexpensive restaurant; although small, it comes HIGHLY recommended.All in all, this is, beyond a question of a doubt, a gem of a store.

Great authentic snacks and goods

Its a small place, but its very easy to find what youre looking for. The man who runs the place may not be very approachable, but hes very nice and informative if you ask a question! I always go here when I need my refills on kimchi, rice cakes, or anything Korean. There is also some Japanese food.

Its got everything and more. Not the cheapest, surprisingly, for run of the mill items like coconut milk, but not the most expensive either.

Great place to find unique items. Affordable produce even in the off season. They have large bundles of dill, basil, mint etc for only $1!!!I found everything I needed including kefir lime leaves, papaya, Galangal, shrimp paste, fish sauce, fresh lemongrass, coconut, and much more!. They even have Durion however I did not get it LOL

Been coming here from Marinette for 6 years ... All of our Korean and Japanese International students absolutely love the choices ... and always such nice owners!! Also the best Kimchi ever!!

Authentic korean market.

This store is the only place in the area I can find Yaki-Soba noodles. I have to drive a hour to get there but I only go every 6 months. I buy them out of Yaki-Soba noodles every time I go so I dont need to go very often.They have a big selection to choose from and the guy that works there is super friendly. He gave my kids a free treat to take for the ride home. I recommend this store to anyone looking for something oriental.

Love going to this store. The owners always greet you with a friendly smile.
