I went to Hietpas Welding to address a problem with the tow hitch receiver on my vehicle. The problem was that whenever I had a bike hitch connected to the tow hitch receiver and it was loaded with bikes, the bike hitch would sway quite profusely as I drove down the road. The technician solved this problem by welding a ½ inch nut to the receiver to the hitch. The work took less than 30 minutes and their labor rate was very reasonable. After getting home and loading the bike onto the bike hitch, there was no more sway at all after tightening the bolt down. The bike hitch is now completely sturdy thanks to the work they performed. ALL of the employees that I encountered were very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable, from the floor technicians to the bookkeeper in the office. In my opinion theyve got a first rate operation.
