I learned that this is not a corporate store but a small business location run under the UPS name. A lot of similar business went under and please support this store. After another terrible experience over at the Mall location, I left and went here. The lady who helped me was amazing! I told her I was pregnant and she went above and beyond to help me with my large box. I was in and out quickly and everyone who worked there had a smile on their faces. Great costumer service at this location!

I am a current customer renting a small mailbox for my small business. I called at 2:53 PM August 21, 2021 and spoke with James. I had received a letter in the mail about a rate increase. The purpose of my call was to find out about the specifics of the rate increase. Here is some of the conversation verbatim. Hi, I am a current mailbox customer calling about the rate increase ..... before I can finish my question James interrupts, Rate increase already happened! I attempt to explain to James that I had paid for my mailbox 3 months in advance and I need to know the new rate. This obtuse clown then says, I told you 4 times the rate increase already happened, call back on Monday. James can not connect the dots that I prepaid for my 3 month mailbox subscription prior to the rate increase. Completely contrary, unprofessional behaviour from staffer-manager-owner. I am canceling my mailbox with them.

The worst customer service Ive seen in years. I had them ship a package and they sent it back to me instead. Figuring a mistake I took is back to have it resent. Nope.... I would have to pay again ($45)... Except it wasnt my error. I handed them the address they made the label. Wont be back.

Have used this ups store for shipping and Amazon returns, but had a usps envelope to check weight on and had used a first class stamp already. Owner/manager weighed it and it was over an ounce. In adding the needed postage he charged for the full amount of 2 ounces, wasting my stamp. A small thing, but a short, rude customer service experience means I’ll go to another UPS store in town. From the looks of the other reviews, I’m not the only one.

Prior to dropping off the package I had knee surgery. I was returning some medical equipment and challenged not only to get the item out of my car but into the building. They saw me hopping along on my cruches to not only get the door, the package as well. Excellent customer service thanks so much.

Paid for notary and Next Day Air - lawyer still hasnt received the mail and its the 15th. We went at noon on the 13th to this location - receipt shows 12:29pm. So they got an extra half day and STILL couldnt get it delivered on time. These were docs for a real estate closing so lawyer is literally at closing, blowing up my phone wondering where the docs are at. Horrible experience. James at this location is doing all he can at least - but moot point now...coming up on 48hrs..dont offer Next Day Air at this location if you cant follow through!Edit: James just called my wifes phone and basically threatened to stop helping if I dont change my review.STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

I have always had courteous clerks whenever Ive been at this location. These employees have rules to follow, and if customers dont like it, too bad. Find some other method of shipping. UPS works their tails off, and now throw in all the Amazon returns they take care of, which has to be overwhelming! I think theyre all remarkable employees. Keep up the good work!

Outstanding packing and shipment of fragile, priceless glassware!I recently had glassware my grandmother left me packed and shipped by this location. The glasses not only have a market value but are also priceless to me personally. I live out of state and so virtually the only way to get them here was to ship them.It seriously had to be the best packing job Ive ever seen. And thats saying something - living out of state, I do a fair amount of shipping. There wasnt a single scratch, crack or chip anywhere.I would highly recommend this location for any packing and shipping needs. They were wonderful to my mom, who brought them in and they arrived in perfect condition to me in Boston.

They packaged and weighed packages with care. Polite and helpful. Sent packages to NYC where my kids live. The arrived timely and safely. Unlike the USPS packages torn open, cards opened and cash gift stolen. Use this business from now on. J

I find them to have less than spectacular customer engagement skill. Go the extra mile for your customers and stop critiquing everything coming through your office like your a postal inspector. I wish there was another UPS store within closer range.

This store is unbearable. Good luck getting anything accomplished. Beyond the fact that they charge you for a strip of tape to close your package (and the store will be the first to say to your face, or on this review, that theyre small business owners and need to turn a profit) but seriously the attitude that comes with it is half the issue.Theyve also told me that I cant ship my package in a box that has liquor branding on it (UPS driver told her she was wrong), and theyve tried to critique my shipping choice and sell me $5 worth of air pillows or a separate box. Thats all fine and great IF they had my best intentions in mind, but even on days that they dont criticize it, they make sure to say its on my discretion that I ship a USPS package through their facility.NOW, as of 12/5/19, they WILL NOT ACCEPT USPS shipments....... why operate a UPS store who is authorized to take USPS packages if you choose to tell your customers that you wont do it. They have a monopoly on the entire side of town, I dont have any other option but to go downtown to the post office to return USPS packages now.Its very sad that someone who should be proud to service half of Appleton and its surrounding communities has decided to fundamentally ruin the experience and erode my willingness to support his operations. Ill take my business to the Neenah UPS store on my way to work. Perhaps UPS corporate needs to check this guys profitability and help the poor man out.

Find a box at home, tape it at home, do everything you can for shipping your packages at home if you decide to use this drop off. It is independent from the actual ups so they will charge you extra for many services. Thats fine they have to pay their rent etc but some of the fees are a little over the top in the cost. My suggestion is go to the usps office downtown Appleton. You will save some $$. The service has never been bad. Just prepare your package as much as you can before you arrive. Yes ups does actually pick here.

Great store, Great staff! I drug in an Amazon return LCD TV with pre-made packing slip, super easy no issues. I also had them pack some XMAS gifts. Price was great on the packing service. Really, overall it was cheaper than a USPS flat rate box. The staff was super friendly and just made my day.

Was unable to print a shipping label at home (website could not direct me to PayPal), which would have cost me $37. Went to the store, expecting to pay $10 more, and was charged $63. A $26 surcharge for them to print a label. Im sorry, but this is an outrageous markup. Regrettably, this is common across most shipping stores locations, but its never been this bad.

Tried to schedule a delivery for pickup here since I wont be home to sign for it. The website makes this impossible to do without an InfoNotice number, which I dont have. FedEx makes this very simple and straightforward - Ive used it a dozen times. Created an account but still getting asked for the InfoNotice. This doesnt need to be so difficult...Edit: Remove immediately? Your store is literally called The UPS Store. It may be independent, but as a franchise, if the company you represent fails, so do you.

They lost a package they signed for. When confronted, the staff was of no help. I was told by the employee he is just making minimum wage and would let the owner take care of the problem. Email the owner. He reads his email daily. Would not contact the owner for me and would not provide a number for UPS customer service. I should just look it up. To top it off, the employee complained I yelled at him and called him names. Neither of which happened. Still have yet to receive a refund OR an apology.

The fact I had to pay $1 for a single piece of tape for my package is INSANE. Didnt I already pay to have it shipped? To the young woman behind the counter who was really unhelpful and plain out rude to me, I hope you find a job that is better suiting to your likeability.

Had a package delivered the to avoid driving to Oshkosh for UPS. Ending up coming USPS. After it said it had been delivered I called on 2 days and said they didnt have it yet. So I stopped in, talked to a girl who said she was working but didnt receive it and swore up and down they didnt have it. Had USPS running around looking for it to no avail. Here UPS store had it there the whole time, but when I called to complain, out of spite they sent it back knowing I was coming that day to pick it up now that they had finally admitted to having it there all along. I hope they fire everyone, including the owner. He doesnt even answer the phone. People like that are just money-grubbers that take no responsibility for their business.

Missed my delivery because I had no idea when it was coming and the delivery guy will not attempt delivery again. I have to pick it up 3 days from today. Not very convenient and I paid to have the package delivered. If I wanted to go pick it up I would have and saved myself the shipping charge. Not prompt service nor good, polite service when I called the store to check when it would be available for pick up. Grrrr!

If you need to print out anything expect to be charged twice. Was charged almost 2 dollars for using their computer for 5 minutes to print out my shipping label and then another 2 dollars for the 3 sheets of paper. They apparently charge significantly more for printing than copies.

They want $2 to print a label but .25 cents for printing any other thing. If my label is printed on regular paper why am I paying more? You also cant use the computer to access what you need printed....not really much of a print shop, they could learn something from the local FedEx store

Just had to drop off two Amazon returns and I was in and out in under 60 seconds.The woman at the counter knew exactly what she was doing. Very friendly and prodessional. Told me everything I needed to know and I turned around and walked out the door it was fantastic.

Charges $2 to print any type of shipping labels (USPS, UPS, FEDEX) when printing is only 15 cents per page. Same amount of paper, same amount of ink. Huge rip off for no reason- why do they care what is being printed?
