This is a nice guitar shop. The guy that works the shop is a standup guy. This is the place you want to go to actually buy intelligently. Sure, The Starving Musician has a bit more variety. However, this shop is a real guitar shop. The front-man will talk guitars, knows his stuff about guitars, is helpful, and is an all-around guitar enthusiast. Is this place like guitar center in San Jose? No, absolutely not! If you want unfriendly, and immature service you can go to San Jose or Santa Cruz. This shop makes you feel like you are getting good quality, at a good price, with reliable service. If this guy ever carries a Gibson ES 335, Ill buy it from him.

There is a good variety of guitars, except they only had 6 string guitars and i was looking for a seven. besides that it was a good place

Great shop! Jody is very knowledgeable and willing to help. I bought a guitar there and took it in a couple months later because the action was high, he adjusted it on the spot and didnt charge me. I highly recommend supporting this shop. You wont get the kind of customer service and appreciation everywhere.

I’ve been doing business at this great store since they were on Main Street in Watsonville. Shame on you Watsonville for letting this business move to Aptos. Wide selection of all musical instruments, as well as sheet music and musical accessories. Good friendly store. Parking can be limited at times, but not always.
