Brought a car in for a MD Safety inspection. They were happy to tell me of the work it needed and I agreed to have the work done because I had no time to do it myself... but when I got the car back and took it home to check out the work that I had them perform, unhappy to say they didnt tighten several of the lug nuts (could spin them off with my fingers) the front pads were replaced, but old, grooved rotors were not replaced nor resurfaced, the coolant overflow was bone dry, and they passed rotten tires as safe (I planned to replace them anyways, but shocked to see they passed these 7 year old, crumbling tires). What OTHER safety measures on the car were overlooked??? Wont be back.

Took a truck there for braking issues. I was quoted a specified amount for REPLACEMENT of rear rotor, pads, and calipers. Arrived to pick up the truck and the quoted amount had doubled! Paid for it without hesitation and left. Brakes worked better.***Fast forward 4 years and only 5k miles later and I have brake problems again. While inspecting the rear caliper thats leaking I find that it was NEVER REPLACED! The caliper was leaking because it was pressing a non existent brake pad against a rotor that was disintegrated! (If you are reading this and wondering how I know it wasnt replaced=calipers and rotors etc dont rust and fall apart that quickly under light driving conditions and without towing)Im glad most of you had a good experience but I wonder how many of you even realize there was poor workmanship. I didnt know until the brake pedal went to the floor at a red light. Not good. This was the second bad experience and I wont be back.

I went in to get my car serviced and I thought it was a certain issue, but they kindly corrected me and took care of my car for cheaper than what I thought it would be. Theyre super professional and Id definitely be back.

Everyone was very professional, polite, and nice. My car was making a weird noise and I stopped by without making an appointment. They did a quick test drive and found where the noise was coming from. They fixed the problem within 30 minutes and the car stopped making the noise! I had my 2 young kids with me and the owner was very nice to them and started a cartoon on TV. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

I had a scraping sound coming from one of my front wheels so I called Southwestern Car Care. They took me right away. They even offered me a ride home. When I got my van back the next day the brakes worked great. They were nice and tight like when the van was brand new. Service was great and they were fast. I will be having all my repairs done by Southwest.

Passing through to PA (from NC), my brakes stopped working in downtown Baltimore right before 5:00pm (of course). Mike and John made me a priority by hooking me up with a gentleman tow truck driver and replacing the main brake line early the next morning. They absolutely understood my situation and greatly reduced my stress level. And they did all this even though my truck has Steeler logos everywhere . . . NOW THATS PROFESSIONALISM! Recently, I needed four new tires mounted, balanced and a front wheel alignment. I went to SCC. Good work at a reasonable price.I have visited SCC previously for a small task. I had a flat tire on I-95 and took the flat to them for repair. Not only did they fix the flat for me, they went the extra mile and put the spare back under my truck. I am disabled (something they did not know) so I found this to be an outstanding gesture.Highly recommend SCC!

I do not know much about cars, but I do know that it is not good when your muffler makes a rattling noise. I had taken my car in for service at a franchise mechanic and was simply told both of your mufflers are broken and need to be replaced. After the $775 estimate was handed to me, I knew I needed a second opinion before dropping that kind of money. I called Southwestern Car Care and was told to bring my car into the shop and he would look at it for free, tell me what needed to be done, and schedule a time to get it fixed. I took my car in at 7am on a Friday (awesome that they open this early) and the owner took a look at my car. Simply stated, I did not need new mufflers, but the crack in the pipe (of the left muffler only, the right one was still completely functioning and in decent shape) could be welded together and I had no need for new mufflers. Long story short, they welded it right then and there, charged me a very reasonable price, and I still made it to work on time! This is definitely a place I would recommend to anyone. I will be going back with any future issues I may have. My day has been made!

I had my Jeep towed their after it broke down driving north from DC to Baltimore. They called me up the next day and started working on it right away. It took a while to diagnose all the problems but their prices were fair and they did great work.
