Such great deals. They had exactly the outfit I was looking for. I had an amazing sales person, Carmen. She saved me over $100 by applying for the JCP credit card. I then immediately paid the bill so I didnt carry a balance, but what a savings!

Whole store only had 2 registers were open in the store.. kids section had no one working that area. No wonder this company is struggling on making sales.

I know Penney’s is not doing well, but the tags were very confusing. I was buying a pair of men’s dress pants, and the signs around indicated the price was $39.99 each. I went to the cashier and found out they were $70.00 each. I was about to just leave, but did find some pants that had the “right” tags, but it was not a very customer friendly experience.

Great I found a evening dress that I like very much great discount. The sales was very nice and the floor sales person very helpful.

Bad service, overpriced clothing, and a small selection. I can get the same bad service and small selection at a big grocery store that has clothing and the clothes would be cheaper.

I ordered a Dutch oven for my daughter for Christmas. When it was delivered, there was no outer box. You could clearly see it was a Dutch oven. Why would they ship something during the Christmas shopping season that’s clearly labeled for all to see?!

The place is fine. I dont find anything that call my attention. The last 3 blouses that I got are not good, poor quality on the materias and the way they were made, made them look cheap, V neck in not made with enough material to hold down the style in some styles the quality is going down.

Well,I have searched everywhere for accessory and the perfect color for my bathroom.Until today I wasnt able to find anything. Now! I am very happy and very pleased, so thanks to JC Pennys.

The sales staff seem really busy. Although I got the help I needed, it was very empty and unwelcoming. Hopefully, just an anomaly.

Sale signs are always so confusing and the store is very out dated.

Great clothes selection

I went to pick up an online order. Store was pretty empty, no line at the cashier, she was polite. There was only one entrance/exit by the shoes department. It actually gave me a feeling of sadness to see the emptiness in the store and at the parking lot. I wish that this current situation will end soon. Best of luck JCPENNEY!

I still like JC Penney and I dont want it to close. I would have given them 5 stars except for there was not a lot of merchandise on the floor and that could be because of how long the stores have been closed over the shutdown.

Do not like the fact that on most things is seldom straight up discount u always got to buy 2 to receive the discount.

Never ordering anything online or ever from JcPenny again. I tried cancelling my order and used the option provided as I had realized I had ordered the wrong size for a comforter. I was given the response from the site that I could not cancel even though I had just literally placed the order. I called to speak to a representative today I tried asking if the size of the comforter could be modified but was told no and only to be told that it can’t be cancelled even though the item hasn’t even been shipped. I’m an understanding person and I would get it if the item had already shipped but it hasn’t. I was told that I could go into a store to return, are you kidding me I’m not going to risk myself being exposed to covid when I am high risk just for a return. So ridiculous!

Dont like misses or junior clothing ugly styles. Kids clothing is good. Mens clothing is good. Shoes are variety; Converse, New Balance, Nike, Adidas, and Clarks sandals, boots, special occasion etc and good prices.

Almost everything was on sale. We bought some mens shirts and went to try them on. There was only one mens fitting room open and we were the 5th customer waiting in line. There were 3 more customers waiting behind us. After about 7 minutes, an employee came over and asked if we were waiting in line to try on some clothes. Of course we were. She stated another fitting room would be opening. Since we were now second in line, we stayed where we were. The lines to the cashiers were also 4 customers deep. Paying $68.00 for 7 nice shirts was well worth the wait.

The JC Penney Portrait Studio is very professional. Cori was photographer and she was easy to work with and made our pictures easy. Well definitely be back

Salespeople were helpful when you could find one. Not a lot of employees on the floor other than cashiers. The cashier was friendly and helpful. This store could use more choices for Big and Tall. They did have some.

Ive been shopping at JCPenney since I was a child with my mom and that was a long time ago. Its her go to place for pajamas and lots of back to school clothes. They offer some good coupons and usually have some nice sale racks that you can grab a shirt or blouse at a great price.

I went here on a Saturday when its one of their busiest days, however the cashier JULIA was really really nice. Although we had many questions for her she had lots of patience and never gave us a bad eye. She did not make us feel rushed at all even though the line was very long.

Clean and organized.Staff are attentive and when the line was getting busy they called for additional cashiers to help out. Definitely coming back here.

I went in to buy undergarments and the ladies in the lingerie department where very kind and helpful. They helped measure me for my sizing & I walked out with more then I thought I would & I left super happy & I saved a lot of money. I will definetely return for more shopping soon

This location is convenient with ample parking located as an anchor store in the Montclair Plaza. They have clothing for men women and children of all ages, and have a large clearance section for many of their departments. Staff is not always the easiest to find for assistance, 3 grouped together in one department while other departments are without staff ( at least when we were looking for help ). Seems a good overall shopping location for household needs.

Very good store, after all the madness from early morning black friday sales. The store was well organized and clean after we arrived around7 pm, plus the employees looked tire but they were still very polite and helpful.

My friend found what she wanted, but I did not find anything that I remotely liked. The quality is poor and the prices are meh. I think my grandma likes the stuff there.

I have shopped here for a few years now and never had an issue until today. I went in today and was stopped from using the womens changing room, asked to leave and told I had to use the room in the mens area. I cannot decribe the level of hurt this caused me. There isnt any doubt to the reason either, I know that its because im transgender. Its likely the last time I will ever spend money here.

The cashier kept trying to share the details of her 4th of July plans, when there was a long line of people. Frankly, I could care less about her plans. Customer service= sense of urgency.

Considering the vast # of people who either seriously shop here, or just browse through (especially whenever they have sales, which is OFTEN!), Im amazed at how neat & tidy they manage to maintain this Penneys! Kudos to their employees! Ive also been impressed with the kindness & patience of each cashier - esp. when theres a long line and theyre under constant pressure! Ive even had one go out of her way to try to look a price up online for me when my item was the last in store with no price tag. Excellent Customer Service keeps me coming back!I only ding it one star because the dressing rooms can get cluttered with clothes during sales (Shame on those customers who leave grand mal messes behind them!), and REALLY beg to be carefully swept & cleaned! I invariably sneeze while in them, due to all the dust, & the visible dust bunnies lurking in the corners. I also REALLY wish they would install a better ventilation system in the womens restroom! The old one theyve had forever doesnt seem to be working, so its always stuffy & disgusting. But it isnt Nordstrom, so Im still happy with the overall quality and especially for their GREAT Sale prices!
