85C is a Western-style bakery with Oriental flavors, and you can eat in, but most of it is bought home. I like to buy birthday cake here very much, the price is not expensive, the taste is very rich and delicious. Besides, there are more options for small desserts, which the girls love.

The baked products at this and others in the giant chain are not at all worth their prices. Since theyre known as corporate foods, quality of ingredients isnt the top on the companys priority. They may have mastered the technique of baking and marketing, but dont be fooled by their fancy stores. If you focus on taste, quality, and value, what offeredby this chain isnt worth your money.This bakery is part of a Taiwanese-owned company with parent companys headquarters in Cayman Island! Yes, Cayman Island! They do this to evade higher corporate tax rate in Taiwan. They also have stores in mainland China, where this company kowtows to the communist government while compromising the principles and spirit of Taiwans independence, causing angers among the Taiwanese people.So, if you spend your money here, youre feeding a monster that cares only about money above all else.

Pre-ordered their Sweet Strawberry Cream chiffon cake for their Mothers Day special and green milk tea. The cake was $28.05 and not worth. If not for their special, I would not have ordered this. The pick up did not go smoothly. I had to wait around 15 minutes even though it was pre-ordered. I did get the cake and drinks in the end, but it was suspicious how long it took for them to retrieve my cake when it should have been ready.HOWEVER, the cake was really disappointing. The creme brulee and strawberry mousse layers in the cake tasted icy and frozen! (Included a picture of the creme brulee layer that appears frozen and tasted icy) That shouldnt have been the case if it was made fresh that day for pickup, so that was very unsatisfactory. The cream and chiffon layers were alright though, not too sweet. Also, the cake was missing the Happy Mothers Day white chocolate sign even though the cake was advertised as having it for their special. Very disappointed in how the cake turned out. It seems like they just took the cake out of a freezer and gave it over.Their green milk tea was also pretty decent, although it was a bit sweet. I will not be coming back for their cakes again, nor will I pre-order cakes from here again.

The best, consistent chain that offers decent not-overly-sweet cakes. The rest of their bread/pastries are nice as well. Cant speak for the beverages.

This 85C Bakery Cafe in Arcadia is smaller compared to its other location. Staff was nice and engaging. Baked stuff and pastries were okay.

Best place to get your morning coffee. Great stuff . 👏 they know how to satisfy a customer and very quick never waited in the line more than 2 min. Great Great Great

They make the multigrain loaf which is the best thing on the menu. Clean and efficient too

Red bean bun is always my fav... but I love their hotdog bun, bacon bun, mango bun, pineapple cake and nougat candy. it is a bit pricy, but you know what they say .. you get what you pay for. big plus is they have a parking lot ... hated going to old town pasadena location bc parking is so difficult there.

We LOVE 85 Degrees! We went here every day when we lived in Taiwan and now anytime we are in LA! Bakery is AMAZING, employees are always very friendly and finally - coffee with boba!! Mmmmmm. PLEASE add one in Phoenix! :)

Recommend that you go early if there are pastries that you want (best selection). Items are already prepackaged, this location has done a fantastic job packaging items when they have cooled down. Nothing worse than moisture inside the bags. Best coffee drinks. I personally can not comment on their teas.

Lots of baked goods to choose from. It was nice and clean. the mango boba slushie and treats were delicious.

A very good variety of pastries but limited flavors. Primarily mango, coconut and taro flavors. Tastes very good but the service at this location was not impressive. The cashier seemed rushed and unhappy and showed it. No one welcomed me when I entered, which I always feel is a plus. Ive gone to several 85 degrees but will probably not return to this location even though it is not far from my home. I do recommend the mango pastries and milk tea.

Pastries were good as always but this location is definitely lacking in the drink department. Have been to other locations where the coffee drinks still taste like coffee and the fruit drinks taste like real fruit flavor. This location made the drinks wayyy too sweet, almost unbearable. The strawberry de leche was overpowered by sweetness rather than strawberry flavor. Same with the sea salt caramel iced coffee. No coffee flavor but a thick syrupy taste of sweetness overpowered it all. The drinks tasted like they were rushed despite having almost nobody inside. So disappointed.

It is not a fresh cake at all. It was like from 2 days go, the day that I ordered it and paid. The surface of cake has cracked and is look dry. The strawberry is not fresh.😡😡 This is so disappointing.

Love the tasty bakery treats and drinks. We got about 6 different pastries to try and loved all of the. We got the buns that were filled with like a cream cheese filling. We also tried the smoothies and they had great flavor. We have yet to try the cakes or savory items but they look delicious. They also have a nice little sit down area like a cafe to enjoy your sweet treats or even bring your laptop to do some work. Its a bit noisy so maybe not serious studying.

I come here multiple times a week for my breakfast and coffee. 👌🏻

Dude I reserved a black forest cake online an hour before hand and when I got there they said not available, very displeased with the service. They should have said out of stock online, like when someone places an order and already paid for it, respect that!

Got home and was excited to start eating my bread, when I took out my receipt and noticed that the guy behind the counter charged me for an extra bread.Always make sure to check your receipt people, they might sneak in an extra charge.I purchased chocolate chip cookies, choco cookie bun, matcha choco bun, and two potatoes croquette. The choco cookie bun at first bite tasted okay and reminded me of cookies and cream flavor. However, as I kept eating it, it just didnt taste as good as the first bite. The top seems like a chocolate shell on top of the bread with it being coated with crumbs, which is really messy and hard to eat. I think they should have incorporated more of a chocolate flavor within the bread than to have a chocolate shell on top. The bread also seems a bit dry.That matcha choco bun was whatevers to me too. The matcha flavor wasnt that strong and I was expecting more of a chocolate flavor with this bread too. There was just a small spread of chocolate chips within the bread mixed with the matcha cream. Not a fan.The chocolate chip cookies were better than the other two. It was really soft, moist, and had a slight doughy texture to it. I believe they might have mixed in some oatmeal or something similar to the mix too, which I dont mind. Im more likely to get this again, but not all the time.The potato croquette was something I actually enjoyed. Luckily, it was also buy one, get 50% off. I only purchased two, but regretted getting the sweets instead of more of this. The inside is like mashed potatoes mixed with corn and I dont know what else, but all I can say is that I would go there just for this.

I usually give five stars in most of my reviews. Really do I give four stars and almost never three stars. This place however in my opinion deserves only three stars. They get five stars for the cleanliness, the nearby parking, and the excellent quality of food we have come to expect from 85°. I took away two stars because of the very poor service and the lack of Wi-Fi. More important was the lack of utensils which are only plastic and you have to ask the attendants for. I requested an Americano and was surprised to find out that they do not have a service station including half and half and milk and creamer and the stuff that you may want to add to your coffee. They told me that I had to pay extra $0.50 for milk if I needed. I really found this to be very cheap and in a way inappropriate either.
