Michael is a very talented luthier. I was very happy with the work he did on an old D-28 of mine. The neck had a horrible bow plus It needed to be reset. It was unplayable. Micheal brought it back to life.

I picked up a ‘91 PRS CE-1 several years ago at an Oakland CA flea market. It needed some love- needed a fret job as well, which I didn’t get around to taking care of until I moved to Eureka recently. That is when I found out about Michael Walker. M. Walker is easy to work with. He does excellent repair and set up work and is a fine custom builder. He added a pick -up to my mid-thirties Epiphone Triumph much to my pleasure. I have always been an acoustic player and he made this guitar work for me. I am more comfortable with it than I imagined I would be. He has given me options when I was unsure of what wanted. The fret job he did on my HD-28 Martin came out just right. Michael is very straight forward. I am so glad he is available in our area. Its a big plus that he is a fine player himself and really cares about the music he plays and the work he does.

I have had Michael do work on two of my acoustic guitars. I have some experience with guitar repair shops, as I played professionally down in LA for years, and when there, had lots of work done on my acoustic and electric guitars from a number of different shops. He learned under the great luthier Randy Wood and is the premier instrument repair luthier in the area, especially acoustic instruments.
