After 5 years of tolerating the cheap, flimsy mattress that came with our RV my wife and I wanted a good quality, firm mattress. We had a list of specific requests: 1. handles all around, 2. two inches narrower than the previous (so my wife could get her hands down between the mattress and the RV walls and lift it up in order to change the sheets) and 3. one 12 inch curved corner in one corner only. Barry understood exactly what I wanted, showed me some different examples of firmness and quoted a fair price. It turned out perfect! If you need a custom-made mattress, and want it exactly like you want it, this place is worth a drive. Barry knows how to make mattresses, and he knows how to treat customers.

Barry has made 5 mattresses for us and we love them. We started with custom sized mattresses for a “jack-knife” bunk bed at our mountain house and liked them so much, that we replaced our Tempurpedic at home with a new king mattress and moved our Tempurpedic to the mountains. Then my husband decided that he slept so much better on Our mattress at home (Barry’s) vs the tempurpedic in the mountains that we ordered one for the mountains too and moved our Tempurpedic to the guest room. All that to say, these are great mattresses and the price is phenomenal. We used to love our Tempurpedic and I still think it’s great but Barry’s is better. Our king size ones are hybrid coil/foam. The coils are individual so they don’t transfer motion and the foam is customized to your preferences. We can’t say enough about how great these mattresses are for a very reasonable price.
