. 🍨 At Kilwins, I loved the festive decor and the ice-cream was better than I expected. I got the sea- salt chocolate caramel... the caramel was especially luscious... like they made it themselves. 🚂 We ate our ice-cream across the street next to the train tracks and my train-obsessed boy was over-the-moon excited to watch 3 trains pass by us. Amazing evening!

This place is all that. The ice cream rocks…. So does the candy… and the ice cream cakes? Best in the Philly area in my opinion. A nice place to stop after dinner at one of the fine suburban square restaurants.

My husband just bought me your fudge as a birthday present. . .. August 16th. The vanilla is like eating a bag of Dominos sugar.Please, tell me it is returnable!!!?? It definitely isnt fudge from the Jersey shore.Sorry!!

Never been here before. fantastic old timey look and the service is fantastic. I got to sample various ice cream flavors. couldn’t decide because they were all so good and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. not your typical flavor selection neither. we lived the toasted coconut icw cream. got a retail box as well. we will definitely be back.

We stopped by Kilwins to buy a Fathers Day gift and fell in love. My kids created a custom chocolate bar made fresh in the store (he loved it). We also picked up a caramel apple, fresh store-made fudge and chocolate covered pretzels. So nice to purchase hand-dipped store-made fresh treats, forget the other stores who buy mass produced chocolates and put in the case as fresh or their own, Kilwins is the way to go. Best Ice Cream in Suburban Square, stop in you wont be disappointed! Last note, the owners are really nice.

Love the Marshmallows and Tonga plus the bars are made perfectly with all the flavours.

Love the ice cream everything is so fresh but a bit pricey!

My new favorite go to for special heavenly chocolates and ice creams! The milk chocolate bark with chopped pecans is a personal favorite. You can also opt for Granny Smith apples covered in an array of chocolate or caramel or other choices you have to go see for yourself. I like the little plain wrapped caramels for a quick 3 bite snack. There is also salted caramel, too salty for me.Heaven for salt lovers. You can get little packets or boxes of things to try rather than having to buy a big box of chocolates that you may not finish. Its very clean and cleverly decorated in an inviting configuration. The owner is great and happy to tell you all about the business as its new to some of us. Try it, youll like it!!! Am waiting for penuche fudge with chopped pecans, hoping they will add that to their already abundant choices of smooth and yummy fudge. Prices are right....see other items I have not listed!

If you really want surprise someone with some real quality chocolate, you can never go wrong with Kilwins. The chocolate here is decadent and delicious, you cant go wrong with choosing anything there. Despite chocolate being their main attraction, they also make some very tasty red licorice. Its hard to make a bag of it survive the walk to the car!

This place has great ice cream, but the tables have lots of stains on them. The service is also fast, but they got my brothers order wrong. He ordered one scoop of mint chocolate chip and one scoop of cookie dough, but the guy gave him two scoops of mint chocolate chip. We then said we ordered one mint chocolate chip and one cookie dough, but than he gave us two extra scoops of cookie dough and we had to pay extra. Would not recommend.

Came here to buy an ice cream cake for my wifes birthday (got the cookies and cake!). We got one for my son a few months back, and we love them because theres actual cake in the middle layer, with ice cream on the two layers around it. The whole process was super easy. Called ahead, asked them to write a message (they write with chocolate), and picked it up the next afternoon. While I was there I picked up some chocolate covered pretzels, which my kids love. Overall just a great place with friendly people and tasty products.

Love that they have caramel apples! I can never find them anywhere and when I get them in a grocery store theyve gone bad, Kilwins is not only fresh and double the size, they have a variety of amazing toppings like coconut chocolate caramel that is now my favorite! It is a bit pricey so I can only spoil myself once in a blue moon but they are not youre average chocolate shop, and I use chocolate every day at work!

The selection here is wonderful! I got to sample some fudge which was very good, as well as some ice cream, my favorite flavor being the mocha chip. I will definitely be going here again would suggest going here for a nice treat!

Even thinking of this place makes me crave chocolate lol! Their ice cream and chocolates are their own brand and cant be found anywhere else, which makes Kilwins a special treat for me. To my knowledge it is family-owned, and they really make this location their own with pink walls, bold patterns, and a fun atmosphere!

Disappointing, from both the perspective of a food lover, but especially from the perspective of a chocolate lover. The store itself was passé at best, and sadly most of the goods that this establishment offered could also be gotten from my local Acme at a much more reasonable price. I wanted to like this store, but sadly I could not.

Walked by and saw the employess making FRESH Caramel Corn & Peanut Brittle, stepped inside and I was hooked (the smell was heaven)! They have FRESH STORE-MADE Fudge, Chocolate dipped items, and Caramel Apples, forget Ashers who everyone else carries, this is much better. They also have their own Ice Cream and it is delicious! I bought a couple of quarts, peanut brittle, chcolate covered oreos and an ice cream cone, I will definitely be back! As a side note they are practicing social distancing, all staff had masks on and they could not have been nicer.

From the perspective who considers themself a lover of chocolate, some of the goods that this establishment offered frankly didn’t live up to expectations. When I entered, I wanted to really FEEL a sense of enjoyment, but I sadly could not.

Just ok, if you want ice cream, you are better off going to Sweet Treats around the corner

Absolutely love this Kilwins location! The chocolates are always nice and fresh, and its very cool to see the employees hand-dipping pretzels, Oreos, nutter-butters, marshmallows, rice krispies, and more in store! They have a HUGE selection of ice cream flavors as well, and their caramel apples (also made in store !!!!!) are to die for! They also have indoor seating which is also a huge bonus when its too cold or too hot to be walking around with your goodies. Definitely recommend checking it out!

With a wide variety of handmade chocolates, Carmel apples, handmade fudge and ice cream it will satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth!You can really taste the difference as they use quality ingredients in all the delicious treats.I really enjoyed I was able to sample something before I made a decision of what I wanted.The coconut ice cream is the BEST!I will be visiting all the time with the summer heat wave we are experiencing..

I am a renowned chocolate taster and reviewer, and I have never been more pleased with a sweets establishment. The service was outstanding, and the owners (I believe their names were Joe and Diane, apologies if I am wrong) run one of the finest sweet shops I have ever been to, in an efficient and satisfying manner. The bad reviews on here seem to be lacking of details, and contain the same repetitive wording, making me believe as an expert on the subject, that the reviews were all left by the same person, longing to tear down this wonderful store, and these wonderful people who operate it. I ordered from Kilwins for my daughter who lives in Bryn Mawr, PA for Mothers Day 2020 since I couldnt be there due to Covid. I looked for the best place to order (good reviews, close to my daughters place, good price and quality) and I found Kilwins Chocolatiers and Shops in Ardmoire PA! I waited until I get a response from my daughter and she said that the (White) chocolate dipped strawberries were superb! I wanted to post their comment. Kilwins have notified me of the progress and confirmation of the order. I made a mistake (my bad!) about the address but thats another story and Kilwins had to go out and try to deliver the 2nd time! Thank you for a great service and delicious food! I highly recommend Kilwins Ardmoire to anyone- you will be in very good hands!
