John was incredible throughout the whole process of shopping for an engagement ring. He gave me a quick crash course on all the essentials and made sure that we found the perfect diamond and mounting. He worked with me and my budget, was able to get the ring completed in a short turnaround, and the result was amazing. Absolutely five start experience. I purchased an engagement ring and two wedding bands in 2016. They were able to custom design the engagement ring from the ideas I brought and incorporate an heirloom diamond. My wife was floored. The same ring would have cost double at your typical jeweler and I even paid about 1/3 of the appraised value. The only drawback is the lack of online presence, so youd have to visit in person to get the best service.

A lite gem of a place with good range of jewelry. But one of ladies that works there needs to learn to be a little more gracias to customers! She wasnt even helpful to her colleague .

I had an amazing and enjoyable experience shopping for an engagement and then wedding rings at Giannini Jewelers. My fiancée absolutely loved the ring that Giannini Jewelers made for her. She got lots of compliments and so did I for doing a good job picking it out. I just had a vision of what she would like and Mr. I and Giannini took care of the rest. The finished product Giannini Jewelers made is perfect! From the beginning, I received such genuine, honest, and personal advice and service. Mr. I walked me through the process, explained and showed to me all of the gems and settings and different qualities. He took his time, never pressured or forced anything on me, and wasnt just trying to sell or up-sell. He listened and worked with me and helped create something special and personal. He really cares and wants his customers to love what he does for them. This family business is so superior to the other jewelry businesses that I initially considered, from service to quality to price. Im thrilled that I found them and will be going back!My wife and I went back for wedding rings, and Giannini Jewelers took so much time to help us and make sure we got exactly what we wanted and when we wanted, including when our last minute decision led to a rush order. They got the rings to us and went above and beyond to do it! They also cleaned and fixed up my mother-in-laws bracelet that my wife wore on the wedding day. This meant a lot to us. I cant thank and recommend them enough.

Gianninis is a very nice place and the people are very helpful and treat you as if theyve known you for years. I couldnt have been happier and my fiance loves her new ring. Ill definitely be back for the bands.

Staff was rude and dismissive. The one woman made fun of the wedding band that my fiancé bought for me. She then started answering the questions of the customer behind me, and put my ring aside: both staff members cast dirty looks at me, as though they were annoyed with me, that I was wasting their precious time. Perhaps it was because it was 430 pm and there were only 30 mins of business hours left. I had to pick up my ring and say something to the staff member to get her attention again. She went on to tell me that I would either need to return the ring and buy something in my size or I would have to get gold added to the ring, which could cost me up to $600. I told the woman thank you and that I would think about it. And then I left. I will never ever go back to PJ Giannini again. My wedding is in less than two months and I was hoping for someone to help me. Instead I got resentment and high estimate. Didn’t even get a congratulations. It was a terrible experience that left me feeling empty. I had to explain all of this to my poor fiancé who took money from her savings to buy me this ring. When I told the staff member what the ring cost, she sneered at me and rolled her eyes at me. So rude. Thank you but no thank you. I’ll find a jeweler who can both help me and treat me like a human being.

I came here based on a recommendation and Im glad I did! From the moment I walked in I knew I was going to buy my girlfriends engagement ring from them! It was an amazing experience because they provided a pressure free environment and are so knowledgeable about their trade. They are true professionals in their field and truly care about their customers! I have been intending to write this review for a while. Last year I purchased my fiances engagement ring here. The entire experience was great. During my first visit to the store, I described the type of ring I was looking for and the quality of diamond I wanted. They brought in several rings and diamonds for me to choose from and all of them were beautiful. They didnt pressure me to pick any particular item and were patient with me while I made my decision. The turn around time to set the diamond was quick. The final product was incredible! Most importantly, my fiance loves the ring and has received many compliments on the ring.

Giannini Jewelers helped my fiancé create this glorious engagement ring!! They were able to extract and reset all 5 diamonds from my grandma’s vintage engagement ring into this rose gold band. I got to meet John after the proposal, and he was kind, personable, and you can tell how much he truly cares about his craft. I would recommend Giannini Jewelers to anyone!!!!

Outstanding service! We went to Gianninis for our wedding bands two weeks before our wedding and he helped us pick out designs that gave us what we wanted while still being in our price range. John is welcoming and a joy to work with.

Please do not let the Mainline address intimidate you. Gianninis is a gem. The service and care that they gave my son and me was beyond my expectations.John worked with my son picking the perfect diamond engagement and wedding rings. There was no high pressure or attempts to make you go a step above your budget. Besides the rings, which were designed by the staff, they also designed a pearl bracelet for the bride to be worn on her wedding day. The bracelet will certainly be an heirloom for generations to come.The staff is friendly and most of all patient. Also, they are experts in jewelry repairs. I give the store 5 stars out of 5.

Went here based on a friends recommendation when it was time to pop the big question, not knowing what to expect. I couldnt be happier with the way I was treated, I never felt like I was being pushed to spend over my budget, and all of my needs were addressed and questions answered (like most guys I knew very little about diamonds going into this) without feeling like the wool was being pulled over my eyes.I was really happy with the way the ring turned out, but more importantly she was blown away! It looks great, and I got a great deal, according to the appraisal. I went back for the wedding bands and again was very satisfied.Could not give a stronger recommendation for this small local family owned shop

I think theres 2 Giannini Jewelers near each other but Im not sure theyre owned by the same people. Im talking about the one on Lancaster Ave in Ardmore. They offer nothing but the best service, hands down! Beautiful selection at amazing prices!!

Excellent service from start to finish when getting my girlfriend an engagement ring. I did a little research online on what to look for in a diamond (Color, Cut, Carrot, Clarity) and John could not have been more helpful at making my decision on the best one I could get. When deciding and looking over several diamonds as well as settings he was patient and did not pressure me into making a decision. What more could you ask for? If I went anywhere else Im sure Id be limited on choices and Im sure the service would be horrible. The look on my girlfriends face was priceless when I presented the ring, and we are waiting to see our wedding bands that we also got at Giannini! Great service is hard to come by now a days but I must say that John and the rest of the staff here treated me like family. Thank you so much and look forward do doing more business in the future, at least I know my future wife will!!

I recently purchased my fiancés engagement ring at Giannini Jewelers and had an incredible experience. They are extremely trustworthy and guided me through the entire process. I had shopped around at several other jewelry stores in the area, nothing compares to the service I received at Giannini. Their prices are unbelievably competitive as well.We had to have her ring resized, after the work was completed, John from Giannini drove into Philadelphia and delivered the ring to my house. You never see service like that anymore. I wont shop anywhere else for jewelry moving forward.
