My family tried to purchase new phones, they kept us waiting for over an hour only to tell us they were out of stock. Instead of offering to order them for us, the sales rep tried to send us to the apple store instead. He finally agreed to place the order. Only to find out the next day he had added a new line to the account, and dramatically changed our bill with out consulting us. As well as placing an order for a phone that is apparently out of stock company wide company wide (iPhone 12 mini in nanny) . Save your self the hassle and just go to the Best Buy next door at least they cant alter your at&t account.

I cannot express how grateful I am for staff-especially Lucy & Brittany- at ATT Arlington Heights. I was having multiple issues switching over from iPhone X to 12 and Lucy kindly & patiently spent 2 hours helping me transfer from one to the other. Nick, the manager, has the most gracious & welcoming personality—a usually stressful experience for those of us over 40 lol-became a lovely experience. Thank you Nick, Lucy & Brittany!!!

My family and I have had AT& T service for years and I have been a guest of this location since it was first built. The customer service has always been top-notch and I have yet to have a bad experience. Today I purchased a new phone and added my son to our family plan, and Brittany, my customer service representative, was polite, patient, and took care of everything for me in a timely manner. I will continue to use AT&T both for our phone service and great in-person customer service.

Have visited this store twice, and both times my cellular service was upgraded to far more expensive plans without my knowledge. For no apparent reason, my recent purchase of three phones was handled as three separate orders, a situation which AT&T proved completely unable to deal with. I have since received no fewer than 60 text messages regarding my orders, many of which are contradictory, one of which announced that--at my request--my order had been cancelled. I made no such request. Of course, no one at this location answers the phone. Ten hours on the phone with AT&T and I have still not been able to clear up the disaster that began at this store.

The staff here is extremely helpful and kind. I always come to this location because they can always get the job done for me, and they often give me discounts. They dont just regurgitate the same info you can get from the website - instead, they help you with your specific problem, and offer you services based on your situation. Great service, great prices, and great staff!

Very poor customer service. The staff are not knowledgeable how to even provide a customer’s need. We need to switch carrier and the staff here refused to provide the PIN for the phone to be opened. They said they don’t know how to do it. Come on guys! Give us a break! That’s the reason why we want want to switch carrier because of poor services that we got. We will report your company and this store to the proper government agency to address this issue such as refusing to provide the PIN which we paid and owned. The staff redirected our concern to a computer generated chat. Which they couldn’t address in person. The staff of AT&T are full of baloney. This only speaks volumes of poor customer service. We fully paid the phone. We paid the bill on time. We will tell our family members to discontinue their services. If there is a half star rating, I will give you quarter star rating!

Understaffed even with Covid. We showed up same time as food delivery. We were told it would be an hour and a half before we could come back into store. Went next door to Best Buy and was able to purchase the phones we were looking for and experience customer service that was exceptional. Thanks again AT&T if nothing else you are consistent. Interesting that there is no response to this poor review. I was kind enough not to mention how rude the the staff member was who was ready to eat.

I spent almost 2 hours on the phone trying to get my Apple Watch added to my plan. I finally gave up and went into the Arlington Heights store. I was greeted by Jayson. He immediately took me to a station where I explained my situation (and frustration). He listened patiently and then fairly quickly got everything set up. He also looked at my plan and offered me a new plan with more options at a lower rate. Amazing!! Jayson was absolutely wonderful to work with. Definitely a 10/10. Thank you!

The manager actually assisted me, as all other sales people were busy. He was absolutely wonderful. I needed help purchasing a phone foe my mother who is hard of hearing. He spent a lot of time with me and helped me make a great purchase. I was able to try the phone to make sure the volume was loud. He spent a lot of time with me explaining the phone and helping me with my order. I really dont know how the experience could have been any better. I highly recommend going to this store!!! I was not pressured to purchase anything extra which I appreciated as well.

Came in via appointment to upgrade my phone and per their guidelines to ensure the safety of their employees and customers, they had us wait in the car momentarily until a rep was ready to work with us. After a few minutes, we were called in for the appointment. The service was very straight forward and efficient. We first worked with Paul the store manager and he was informative and kind. Brandon one of the store reps stepped in and took over shortly after.He was also very informative, helpful and nice to work with. I would definitely recommend this location for your technology needs and would ask for Brandon or Paul!

I decided to switch carriers and was fortunate to work with Artur. He took time to clearly explain AT&T plan and then handled the whole transfer. There were some technical problems during the transition process and Artur was very patient both with me and the technical issues. I felt well taken care of and never rushed. He also discussed cable services and gave me information in order to make an informed decision. Very easy person to work with and I felt his patience and manner made the whole transfer easier.

My son and I recently visited the AT&T store in Arlington Heights at Rand and Palatine Roads. As we walked into the store, Chris, one of the employees, greeted us and asked how he could help us today. We asked about purchasing protective cases for our newly purchased cell phones. Chris proceeded to show us available selections, answered questions, and informed us of a great deal they were offering on 10-foot cables to charge our phones. We, of course, took advantage of this opportunity. He was extremely helpful, patient, and kind. Your Arlington Heights store is my choice for great service! Thank you so much!

Tl:dr: Very impressed with the customer service here. Muhammad, Artur, and Brittney were kind, knowledgeable, helpful, and really, really down to earth and cool. Expected a stressful situation, was presented with the EXACT opposite.When my Google Pixel 3a decided it was time to join the cellphone choir invisible, I was initially and admittedly scared to walk in to the store to remedy the issue. 1. Global Pandemic. 2. My experiences with cellphone sales people has largely been negative. It has felt not unlike buying an automobile:Pressure, surreptitious information, not really listening to my needs as a consumer, but rather meeting quotas and their own desires and needs as salespeople instead all served as a basis for my trepidation.The Sunday afternoon that I went in, the store was hopping. I didnt make an appointment. I walked in and patiently waited to be acknowledged. A few of the staff told me that it would be a minute which was understandable. In hindsight, I should have made an appointment, but I was a little flustered as I was without a working cellphone for about a week that I dove right in instead.Eventually I was assisted by a gentleman named Muhammad. Sat me down, listened to my plight, and offered me a current deal (with an additional teacher discount). He allowed me time to process, ask questions, and given how honest he was during the exchange, convinced me to jump on a pretty spectacular plan change as well as a new phone.I was really impressed at how efficient, calm, kind, and knowledgeable the staff was while I was there. Muhammad runs and efficient ship and he has an excellent crew.I was then put in the capable hands of Artur (I believe thats the correct spelling) and he and I finished up the deal. There was a snag in terms of passwords and setting up MyATT accounts (as my sim card on my old phone wasnt working) and he calmly and patiently came up with suggestions to remedy the issue. We also had a solid talk about education, sports, travel, etc. Artur was a cool guy. Someone I would totally have a beer with.Lastly, I had to return to the store just this last Wednesday to trade in my old device as the new one had arrived the evening prior. Again, not appointment (early Wednesday around 11 AM) and I was greeted by an associate and directed to a table. I had to use the restroom. Came back out and Brittney approached me and brought me to her table. I explained what I needed to do and she walked me through the particulars, all the while engaging me with fun banter and conversation. Signed a document and the trade was done.Keep up the good work.Now I know that I dont have anything really to fear moving forward should any new issue arise.

I went to the AT&T Store in Palatine because I spent hours on the phone with customer service trying to add my Apple Watch and Tablet to my plan with no luck. The team at this store were awesome and very patient as it wasn’t easy to correct the issues that customer service caused. Joseph helped me get everything working and he was great. Wow. Where do I begin my praises for the crew at this AT&T store in Arlington Heights?!?!! If I could give them a 10 out of 5 stars I ABSOLUTELY WOULD!! First: the store was very clean and spacious - the biggest AT&T store I’ve ever seen! Most importantly: I came in with several questions and concerns today, specifically how can I save on my wireless plan. The manager Paul and his crew Artur F. and Brandon were all SUPER helpful!! Paul specifically reviewed my plan and determined where the savings could happen. Then while Artur was applying my screen protector on my phone and watch he found another way to save me money! I literally feel like I won the lottery today. They were all exceptionally patient and thorough reviewing my account and I am THRILLED at the saving they found for me. These are GOOD honest people - from the gal that went hunting for the screen protector for my size watch, to the guy who reviewed our settings to answer a question about voicemail and the MONEY they saved me - the best there is. This is obviously a crew that knows what they are doing and actually give a hoot about their customers! Come ask for Paul or Artur - they’ll take care of you! 👍🏼👍🏼

After being a Sprint customer since 2007, I finally made the long awaited switch. It was between AT&T and Verizon. The two times I was in Verizon store I wasn’t even greeted. Today at the AT&T store in Arlington Heights I stopped in and had the best experience I’ve ever had at a phone store. Arthur helped me switch all of my plans and really took the time to get everything right and did it with patience and interest in me. Amy was also extremely helpful in putting all my lines together to fit my needs.Highly recommend

Terrance (manager) and his employees couldnt properly return a phone. I had to call back because they left a $130.00 tax charge on my bill for a phone I already returned, just further wasting my time. It took them an hour just to figure out how to process the return in store and even still obviously didnt get it right. Dont buy your phones from AT&T, they charged me a $50 restocking fee, even though I returned the phone next day unopened!

He engaged in a pleasant conversation, very knowledgeable, and most importantly he was a very genuine nice guy who cared to help us. Very unfortunate experience. Bought a pre paid phone and was treated like a second class citizen. Was told to just go call the customer service line. Why bother selling items you wont help customers with? Cant imagine how they would deal with servicing an actual IPHONE. 3 trips in 2 days to get things straightened out, in the end not even by the store. Sitting in the store for an hour while the manager is on hold with customer service isnt exactly expert service. The third time in they wouldnt even give me the time of day. If you need to use ATT go to another store.

Bad customer service at this location. If you value your time use the AT&T website chat or 611 from your phone. I was having problems with my new device and I stopped in there yesterday and the assistant manager determined that my device was faulty and I would have to get a new device. He couldnt help me right then and there because the manager left for the day. He said stop in tomorrow and theyll be able to swap out my phone that was under warranty. Came back today and tried to do the curbside assist because of the pandemic and the person on the phone said, We dont do phone exchanges here. I explained that I talked to the assistant manager last night and he told me to come back today and the person on the phone tells me to come inside the store with a mask. I proceeded inside the store and another person came up to assist me and I told him what the problem was and even before I was done talking he said We dont do data exchanges here. I tried to explain that I wasnt here for a data exchange I was here to switch out my phone but again he cut me off and said, we dont do that here. I told him I literally just talked to someone on the phone from the parking lot and he told me to come inside the store. After scanning my drivers license he goes in the back with another co-worker (which I believe was the manager) and comes back after 10 minutes and says he cant help me here but youll have to go through the customer service line. He then said I can help you with that if Id like and right before he finished I cut him off and said, No need and walked out.I had things resolved less than 20 minutes when I called 611 from my wifes phone.I wont be returning to this location for anything.

I recently had difficulty with a pre-paid phone plan that Ive had for several years. I had talked to Customer Support numerous times. I stood to lose $500 in phone credits, even though I had renewed on time. The problem was solved at the AT&T store at Rand Road and Palatine road.. Artur was the employee who listened to me and helped me with curbside service. Artur didnt give up until the $100 I had paid on March 3 was applied and the $500 in credits was restored. I had previously spoken to 5 different people on the customer support line over 3 days. Artur solved my problem in one viist while I waited curbside in my car.
