The young girls that work in this store have no idea what value is. I brought in items to sell/trade. They didn’t even take things that might have brought a little class to their store. I felt they didn’t feel like going through it all, so they offered me 42.00 for stuff of mine that I would have given away & turned down the items that really did have value. I looked through their store items & 99% of the items were cheap looking & had no value. After I went to pick up what they didn’t want, I noticed that they just crumbled up & threw my stuff back in my bags &Gave it back to me. I had my things folded up in bags. This store sucks & I will NEVER go back!!!!! YOUNG & DUMB !!!

I brought some clothing into the store that literally has been sitting in my closet because I may have worn it once in the past 1 to 2 years. One pair of jeans I know for sure I never wore because they were too small when I bought them and never got around to returning them. However, Clothes Mentor only accepted 2 items out of a bag full of, I kid you not gently used clothing because they said they had too much wear. I do not recommend them nor will I ever bring clothing here again. This was a waste of time and to say the least laughable when the clothing in the store looked 10 times worse than the clothes I broght in.

Love this store! From the moment you walk in until the moment you leave, they make you feel special! Customer service is excellent. Taylor and Monica have helped me find many things, even when I wasnt 100 percent sure what I was looking for in the first place!. I highly recommend visiting this store. You wont be disappointed!

Updated: 7/21/2021: Im a bit disappointed today. Rushed here after work and walked in for a sell at 7:10pm and they said sorry, we have a lot to do at the end of the day before closing. We normally stop buying at 7. I completely understand and respect store hours but this is not posted anywhere and there were at least 2 other workers just standing around so not sure why they were not willing to look at the few items I brought in to sell today. They told me I can leave the items there and pick up tomorrow but I dont trust it and I am familiar with the policy that states that if I cant get there to pick up tomorrow, they get to keep the items for free. NOT HAPPENING! Im pretty disappointed bc this policy of ending buys early did not seem legit. The way she said it made it seem like they just didnt want my items/to work. There is still 50 minutes left before the store closes so I really dont understand.Very very clean and excellent customer service! I went there to sell and it was an excellent experience!

This place is great!!! It has outstanding customer service, specifically from an employee named Monica. She was great. She helped me find things and even pick out a few items and was super attentive! The place is small but very stylish and has great main brand things but not at main brand price 😊

I had the BEST experience at this location! All of the employees were super helpful and accommodating, But MONICA is the BEST, and truly went ABOVE and BEYOND to ensure my needs were met! When I was in a bind, she really came through, and for that, I will be coming back!

Ive stopped in a few times and everyone is always very friendly. Ive found some cute things and feel like they have a great selection. I shop at many Clothes Mentors and they definitely more friendly in this one then the other one I frequent. They have lots of Loft, Ann Taylor, Black House, CK, and brands in the like in great condition for a great price. Would recommend!

This store was recommended by a friend n I was pleasantly suprised at how organized and clean it was. It even smelled great! They had a great selection of unique n trendy pieces. Derrick was very helpful n curtious. I sold a couple items which didnt take long at all, and I was on my way. I would definitely go back again.

This is a great store. I love resale shopping and selling. The employees here are nice and very welcoming. I think the clothes are fairly priced and always in great condition. Their designer bags/shoes are unique and their Instagram posts keep you updated with new items. Leslie is so kind!

Twice I took a large amount of nice womens shoes and clothes and neither time did they purchase anything I had. I know for a fact they didnt look through what I brought in the last time. I personally dont think they sell enough to justify buying anything. The store is nicely set up.

Great place for guys to sit on phone and get caught up on things while wife, girlfriend, mother, or any other women in your life . I got all my emails taken care of while my wife shops. She gets clothes at a great price and I get to rest and dont have to have the money to pay for the things she wants at full retail price.

Prices are good! I love this store.. my only complaint is the selection at this arlington location.. went in there looking for jeans, walked out with nothing.. pretty certain my grandmothers closet has better selection ..... Shoe selection is great though!

Went to sell a clean, new trench coat, new pair of booties I never wore, and two or three Kendra Scott jewelry pieces... only ended up with $15? I was looking to get rid of things so I accepted it (though I wish I hadn’t), but never selling or returning here again. I get a lot more from Plato’s Closet. Two stars for alright service.

My new home away from home and Evelynn took the best care of me ever. She even suggested I write a review on the spot annnnnd she helped me. This is my second time shopping here in three daysYes theyve got it like that. I literally walked in and what I wanted appeared (Evelynn said, puff ), at the right size, price point, and designer matrix....this is a consignment shop, with jewelry, shoes. Paris designs. Everything I want.Now, then, if you know me, I will NOT be sharing my source for this place. But since you dont, Id suggest you get over here as fast as you can. And Black Friday revealed a draw for percentage off from 10% to 40%. Of course, I drew 30% becuz God is blessing all of this. I literally Googled fitted down long jackets last night until 2:30 am. I couldnt find what I wanted. As soon as Evelynn pointed me to the coat rack. Puff, there it was...Marc Jacobs silver gray with velvet lined collar...what!? $26.00....black friday! Thank you, Jesus.

I used to shop here and when they closed I was disappointed. I took a couple of bags to sell and decided to stay and browse while the sales girl went through my stuff. In browsing I saw some items that have seen better days or maybe not belong in that store. I had clothes that may not be designer but are in pretty good quality or at lease better that some of the stuff that I saw. She told me that she passed because they werent good enough.I was disappointed.

Very disappointed!My daughter and I went to Arlington store to get some deals but walked out with Nada! Prices way too high!Amazing that we were in the store for over 20 minutes and not 1 of the 3 employees who were standing at the counter the whole time talking to each other acknowledged our presence. Not like it was crowded or anything cause only 1 other shopper was in store.Daughter made sure to say Thank you as we walked out the door.No response from the ladies.They need a whole makeover!

I read all these reviews that talk so highly about this place but my experience here was different _ I felt discriminated in a way _ she said it smelled a lot like smoke, my response was send it to dry clean _ she responded we dont dry clean none of the things we get _blond older lady with bad attitude it was a 2000$Gucci n Calvin klain both hand bags

I found a Clothes Mentor while on vacation and was excited to find that there was a location near me. Sadly, when I visited the store near my home, the young ladies working that day were not near as friendly or helpful as the women who helped me while out of state. The selection was not what I expected, and the brands I found at the other store were of a higher quality...Ellen Tracy, Loft, etc. When I inquired about their options one of them told me I might want to check out Uptown Cheapskate around the corner. I did!!! Unlike Clothes Mentor, their store was filled with customers. Their style was not mine, but the staff was sure amazing!!! I will be looking for other Clothes Mentor locations for classic, fashionable pieces, but probably wont return to this store.

I love this store and would have given it a 5 🌟 but I had an employee answer the phone while I was ready to check out, told me to hold on, and I stood there for 15 mins until she finished the call then she presumed to check me out. That was so very rude n she didnt even apologize.
