I was in the middle of a lighting emergency (yes, apparently that is possible)! But JACOB! He literally saved the day! He was so incredibly helpful. He quickly got to work and got me the parts I needed in a rush. I would 100% recommend him and this store for your future lighting needs. I was on the hunt new lamps for my home, and left with ideas for photo session props.The store is divided into easy product sections so one could shop without assistance. Theres also product such as furniture and chandeliers that clearly require help from a salesperson. We were approached within 5 minutes and this being a first visit we opted to explore alone. When we had a question, the sales rep was quick to assist.I left with a chair for a photo session, which isnt why I visited. Their customer loyalty program was offered to me during the checkout process (I joined). Overall, a good experience.
Excellent choices...HORRIBLE and UNPROFESSIONAL customer service!!! Not sure how the associate managed to HELP numerous other people in the store EXCEPT me (or someone who looks like me). At one time she said she forgot I was there waiting....really? When we did get a chance to have a full conversation the other associate (West Indy lady) rudely interrupted our conversation and started to chat & joke with her as though I wasn’t even standing there! As far as I’m concerned the entire staff needs customer service training. We all are spending too much money in these establishments not to be treated fairly!

Sad I had to put even 1 star. Item delivered was so damaged part of the box and Styrofoam was missing with parts of item hanging out. When I called the Lamps Plus store where we purchased the item telling them of the delivery the sales person said what do you want me to do about it? And not in a friendly tone.Will never shop there again and will be warning our friends to stay away as well.We were told to put the box out to be picked up two days later and guess what...box is still on our porch. Seriously??

What a great place to shop for home lighting. They have a great selection and the lighting specialists are knowledgeable and pleasant. Our was very helpful and went out of her way to look for optional parts for the lamps we purchased. I also noticed some unique items such as bookends and candle holders.
These people charge your credit card double for purchases and when you come in they tell you to call their corporate office for billing yourself. Once they get your money, you are on your own.
Beautiful store. There are so many items that I love there. I probably would have spent way too much money had someone asked me if I needed any help. I literally walked around the store for over thirty minutes and not one person asked if I needed any assistance. I was the very first person in the store when it opened and by the time I left every employee was helping all the other guests.
Unbelievable selection of lamps prices are a bit high but we bought a floor lamp and the quality it greatSo i guess you get what you pay for.

So disappointed with Lamps Plus lack of customer service! Ordered 2 Feiss Lorenz 4 light chandeliers. The finish looks NOTHING like what was pictured on their website (see pics of what was advertised vs what I actually received). Attempted to work with Lamps Plus & Feiss / Generation Brands to get quality control issue resolved and left with no-assistance. Lamps Plus gave Feiss some convoluted response about me wanting the Feiss Lorenz to match a Feiss Angelo....???? Not the issue...the issue is the chandeliers are not brown weathered oak stain. They are a pinkish-grey finish. First and last experience buying from Lamps Plus or Feiss.

Today was my first time at Lamps Plus. I was redecorating my apartment. I walked in so excited and left disappointed 😢. No one came to even ask me if I needed help. Shipping Policies: I replaced all of the lighting in my house and ordered thru LampsPlus.com website. The person who helped me was very helpful but he never mentioned that if something did not work out, I would have to pay for return shipping. Unfortunately, while I was shopping and before I placed my order, I did not pay close attention to the return shipping policies. I spent $2,500 with this merchant and now I have to pay $16 in return shipping fees. It is not a lot of money but it is the principle of it: when you buy things online, you should be able to return items without paying the cost to return ship those items. To make things even worse, I wanted to purchase a fixture that was in my original order. The price had increased and they would not make a price adjustment to match the amount I previously paid. Needless to say, I am going with a different merchant next time.

I have purchased many lamps and items from this location and Lampsplus.com over the years. The customer service at this location has gone waaay down hill and I doubt I will be back. I placed an order online, because I could not get anyone to help me, when I received my lamp it was a cheap piece of junk from China and was cracked in half.
Loved that I got to go in instead of on line shopping. Purchased a DRum light tha I had been looking for.
I have shopped at the Arlington, Texas store for many years. Sharon Cantu was my sales rep during my latest visit to the store. She was awesome! She made sure I got all the lighting and lamps I needed for a few rooms in my house. She spent a good deal of time with me helping select what lighting would work best for my design needs. Store is well kept considering the amount of stock and designs they cover. I never miss the bargain rack. It would get five stars if there were one more employee as they are busy. Great store. Where I go for any lighting and it’s a good forty minute drive but they have it all.

I cant comment on the products because I havent received them yet but I do want to thank Sheron for her attentiveness to our needs. She was very helpful and cheerful, in particular, because we were undecided as to which lamp we wanted. She willingly demonstrated numerous ones, even to the extent of providing a chair in which I could sit to assess the amount of reading light.
We went into the store, no one acknowledged us. No one asked if we needed help. We asked for some help with prices and not one person came from behind the counter to help. They answered with the price and didn’t even offer to turn the fan on we were looking at.I heard someone asking a couple that came in behind us if they needed anything. While we were still walking around unassisted. The only difference between us couples, we are black, they are white. I can’t think of any other reason we would not be helped and they would.We just purchased a brand new home and we were looking for fans and lamps. I guess we will take our spending budget to people who are interested in helping us. Shame on you Lamps plus!!!

Just went to Lamps Plus in Arlington and there was a light that we liked and they checked the inventory and had 1 left. But when we got to checkout, the price didnt match so they checked the tag again and then said oh that sale ended so she went to check if that could be honored at that price since that was the price shown on the tag but the lady said no. Dont trust the prices shown! Very disappointed.
Sheron Cantu was extremely helpful in finding the right reading floor lamp for my husband. We must have analyzed at least four of them while I was sitting on the sofa and pretending I was reading. She was great.
The store has a large selection of Tiffany style lamps on the showroom floor. They have hundreds more in their warehouse. Salespeople were very helpful. Anissa- Mgr. was a pleasure to work with- helpful, patient, and knowledgeable.

My wife and I have been customers since the store opened. They have the best lighting at reasonable prices - with great bargains when they have a sale. Their customer service has always been excellent, even with changes in staff over the years. For the first time, one of our outdoor lights had a defect show up after several years. The LED suddenly dimmed. The other matching light was still working perfectly. They replaced the defective unit at no cost. It arrived within days. You bet well stay loyal customers!
We received very good service when going in to replace our light fixture. The employees were very helpful when it came to finding the best and most appropriate fixture and accessories for what what we were looking for. They worked with us and were very patient.

Very nice store, large selection, and great prices! I found this place online and was excited to bring my wife along to pick out a showpiece fan for our living room.After finding one we both liked, we were disappointed to learn they didnt have that fan in stock, so we had to order and wait. We paid in store, and let our sales guy place the order for us, and then headed out.... Thats when the first hiccup was spotted, on our receipt there was some light fixture for a 100.00 we didnt ask to buy.I caught the error before we walked out of the store and had that mistake removed, and off we went...We were placed the order on Saturday, and were told by the sales guy Brandon the fan would ship right away and arrive by the following Wednesday....Its now been a week, the order hasnt shipped, and my wife isnt happy. I called and asked what the deal was, and they basically didnt know and said it would hopefully ship within another week. Normally I dont write negative reviews, but this place was a disappointment.
We had a wonderful experience at Lamps Plus Arlington. The store manager Anissa was impeccable. I recommend everyone in the DFW metroplex to use Lamps Plus Arlington for their lighting needs.

I came in sunday with my mother in law to look at some decor to compliment the new dining table we purchased next door at Ashleys. We did walk in about 15 min before closing. Which we were well aware of. As soon as we walked in the young lady at the door JUST TO REMIND YOU WE CLOSE IN 10 Min. She did not offer us any help, did not tell us about any sales. Basically wanted us out. I would rate 0 stars but Sharon was SOOOO extremely nice and helpful. I found some items i like and she helped me find a few more to match. Def need more employees like her. I will be coming back to see her! :)

Absolutely awful customer service. There were 5 employees on the floor and not many customers on Black Friday afternoon. No one offered assistance to us, even as they walked by and we were staring at them, trying to get their attention. We shouldve just left at that point but we did not. Finally got someones attention by walking up to her. It was the store manager. She was helpful but acted like she was trying to get rid of us. And she passed us on to Sally. Sally was great. She helped us with purchasing everything and coordinating shipment of items as most were not available in their storage and we didnt want floor model. We were never called about our fixtures arriving at the store. We called several times and were told we had to talk to Sally and when we did catch her, Sally said they would arrive in a few days. We finally picked them up on 12/14 & were missing one. It was supposedly in transit from Colorado to Arlington...for over 2 weeks. Called 3 times the week of Christmas. Sally was not available and apparently there was no manager on duty on Sunday. Come on people, its 12/31, over a month later and no one knows what happened to our light fixture. Was on phone with customer service center on 12/31 and they were also having difficulty communicating with the store. After over 35 minutes, found out it was shipped to California instead of TX. Seriously...how??? Never ever buying from them again. Dont do it. Go anywhere else if you want something so bad. SMH
I love-love-love this store. When you enter, its so pretty and twinklie that who could possibly resist a shopping experience here.I have shopped and purchased many items from Lamps Plus in the past. I researched my items online before going to the store. There are so many lamps and lighting solutions to choose from now days. I doesnt matter how good the website...in order to make the truly best selection available, I need to look at the product.I went to the Arlington Lamps Plus and upon entering, was greeted with a smile, an introduction, and the question may I help you. I said that I just wanted to look for a few minutes. I was given time to cruise through on my own and enjoy looking on my own. In a reasonable amount of time, Sheron, my in-store representative, checked on me and asked if I had questions, or needed any help. I did. She answered questions, demonstrated products, and pulled up additional sale information that I was unaware of. She used my product number from the website to help me compare several like items. This helped me know that I was making the best selection that was available to me. I not only got the best price, I also got visual assurity observing the product and tactile knowledge of operation. Thank goodness for bricks, mortar, and people.I used a good website... really good... enjoyed a beautiful store that stocks quality inventory with many various styles and prices. Met a smiling, well trained employee who was willing to help me qualify and quantify my selection for many years of enjoyment to come. Wonderful shopping experience... with a complete system...and my lamp will be delivered to my door... Thank you so much!
We bought a floor lamp a few years ago. We thought the bulb burned out and my husband tried to change it. It only took a few screws for him to realize it wasnt a simple bulb change. We took the lamp to the store for instructions on how to change bulbs. (Much to his chagrin!). We were told the bulb was rated for 35000 hours and couldnt be changed. Basicly a disposable lamp! However the staff (without asking!) Just gave us a new, in the box, lamp...even tho we had had the old lamp for more than one year! Customer service at its finest! We will find any excuse to shop at this store in the future!

They have good stuff, but they are very disorganized. I bought a lamp that I have to wait to pick up for almost tree weeks. And still when my husband went they did not know where it was my orden.

Ordered a light fixture for full guest bathroom remodel before a large Thanksgiving get together my wife has been planning for months.I had it shipped to my business to insure delivery and it wouldnt be sitting on my porch while I was at work.Contractors finished all the work and everything ready to go once the fixture gets installed.When it didnt arrive I called and was told it was delivered at 9:20am on the 20th and left outside the business. We get multiple deliveries at this business and packages are NEVER left outside especially during business hours.I called lampsplus thinking they would fix the issue but no luck. They even suggested i deal with Fedex myself.I explained the problem how i needed a replacement before my Thanksgiving party but they refused until they investigated further.They refused to send a replacement.They refused to refund my money.It was even suggested i file a credit card dispute with my credit card company.So im writing this review 2 weeks later and its still being “investigated”.Im going to go ahead and file a dispute with my cc company because at this point i think theyre being dishonest.I still dont have a light in my newly remodeled guest bathroom.

Overall pretty good stuff! I came to Lamps Plus because I wasnt finding what I needed at Home Depot and Lowes.After having shopped at both home improvement stores and online with other retailers, I knew that Lamps Plus pricing was standard, and consistent with the other retail establishments. There were a few light fixtures which were priced better than what Id seen elsewhere, and some that were priced more. I guess it all evens out in the end.I had two kids with me, and didnt have a choice. My sales guy was visibly a bit irritated with us, but I rolled with it anyway. I mean, cmon, a two year old in a lamp shop? Yeah, not ideal but lets work with it. I heard a few deep sighs out of the rep, and he definitely was trying to expedite our experience. Regardless, I mostly got what I needed.As we left, I realized he had us loaded up with one lamp less than Id purchased. Had to unload the kids and go back inside, but no biggie. They got us taken care of. Got home, and one of my fab LED edison-like bulbs, didnt work. Lamps Plus is quite far from our house, so a return wasnt an option. Ill have to go on a hunt for something similar since it sits right next to a sconce with a working bulb. And overall, Im pretty darn happy with my light fixtures I purchased there. I have my eye on a ceiling fan, so Ill surely be back.
