They were professional from the initial design phase, submitting the permits, coordinating multiple contractors and ultimately its completion. Eric managed the project as if it was his own. Deck Masters transformed our backyard into a resort with a new outdoor living space! It basically added another room to our house! They worked closely with our family on the overall design layout to insure all our needs were met. Our old wooden deck was replaced with a beautiful colored concrete deck that is now covered by a western red cedar structure complete with a matching roof. Their stone mason added stone steps to the deck to match the new curved stone wall bench seating and S-shaped bar. LED accent lights were also added to the steps and stonework for those night-time parties. The perimeter of the pool deck was resurfaced to create a nice barefoot walking surface. Their attention to detail every step of the way was incredible. You can count on their experience and expertise to help you transform your backyard into a resort style living space! Your backyard will be where all your friends and all your kid’s friends will want to hang out.

I had a wonderful experience with my patio being constructed. They provided all the information needed for my HOA approval and permit needed from the county. They were very respectful, easy to work with, and I love their work. They built my patio cover in a timely manner and it looks beautiful! Thank youl for the great experience.

Deck Masters has built for me a nice and expensive deck in my backyard few years back, with a roof and pergola attached to it. It was the envy of the neighborhood. I was excited and happy to show it off to my neighbors and didn’t mind the high price attached to it. However that excitement didn’t last when the first rainy season came along. The rain was pouring on us while we were sitting on the deck. It was pouring down through the junction between the roof and the pergola. I was heartbroken. But know I was ok since I bought a five year warranty from them, but I was wrong. For years and multiple calls, Deck master gave me the run around and never fixed this nightmare for me. It is so sad that they won’t hold up to their end of the bargain, and literally leave their customer under the rain, after they got their money. If you want something looking good do business with them. If you want something properly working, save your money and your pain and stay away from them.Eric has been very helpful and responsive in fixing our deck issues

Disappointed. Salesperson came out to discuss project and give us a bid, but wasnt interested in letting me finish questions. Happened multiple times, but escalated when I didnt understand one of his answers. First rule of Sales - listen to the prospective customer.

Love, love, love my new patio cover. The teams did an excellent job, the cover is beautiful, and the work is well done. The crews came on time, are good people, obviously experienced, cleaned up after themselves, and are just good people! We wish we could have done this years ago but are so glad to have it now. I can’t believe the difference it makes on the patio outside. I can actually stand to go outside in the blazing heat of the day. Looking forward to a rainy day to sit under the cover and watch the rain fall. As an aside-remember it takes talent to assemble a trustworthy crew and Deck Masters has accomplished that.

Love, love, love our patio cover!! We purchased a new home last year that had almost everything we were looking for ... except a patio cover. It had nothing!! I had about 5 estimates done because, quite honestly, the cost was coming in much higher than I expected. Deck Masters wasnt the cheapest or the most expensive, but they gave me the most confidence with their answers to my questions. There were delays due to weather but it was totally worth the wait. The crew was skillful, neat and friendly. In about a week they were done and now our home is complete!

We are super happy with our patio cover and back landing down to the patio. The workers were very nice and professional. They cleaned up after the build. I love spending time in the back yard now, even in this cold. :D

DM came highly recommended by Prater Concrete (who did our stamped concrete patio, who we loved) so after getting some other quotes, I decided to stick with them. Very high integrity, great communication, fair and they did a fantastic job. The guys working on site were thorough, cleaned up after themselves, played with our dogs and were very personable. They found a couple design issues in the drawing that the supervisor walked me through and made sure I understood what my options were, which I very much appreciated! Overall, Id highly recommend this company to anyone looking to add a beautiful structure at a fair price to their home. They did a wonderful job!

My pergola looks amazing! It makes my back yard and pool look like a resort. I trusted Blake’s experience and appreciated his honesty about whether or not my design expectations were realistic. His design actually far exceeded what I initially thought I wanted. Eric managed the job very professionally and was always available to take my calls and courteous when I asked questions. Roberto was very accommodating and happy to answer any questions I had during the building process, and he and his helper worked very hard to complete the job in only a day and a half. We are very happy with the service we received and the outcome of the build!

Great attention to detail, beautiful design. Communication exceeded expectations and we ended up purchasing new outdoor furniture from The Backyard Store, which is their retail location in Arlington off of Pioneer Parkway. Would highly recommend.

Blake and Eric were great to work with. Communicated well with us throughout the project and gave great advice on options. A few issues with scheduling due to rain but otherwise happy with the end result.

Deckmasters did a fantastic job on my patio cover. It looks like it is part of the house when the house was built. The also built my deck 12 years ago and it still looks the same today as when it was built. I highly recommend Deckmasters for the go to place for patio covers and decks.

Very reasonably priced. I had a patio cover built and the overall structure was sound but the attention to details was poor. Many of the cosmetic pieces had uneven cuts, beam installed with a sizeable piece of wood chipped off, site was poorly cleaned up after work completed. Eric was not prompt to respond to equests. Blake (part owner) was somewhat helpful but sluggish to get things done. My friend had an excellent experience. I think like most things its not the name of the company but whose doing the work. If you use them I recommend monitoring the work being done closely to ensure you get quality work. Best of luck

Quite a lot of arrogance in this company. Beautiful arbor built by two Hispanic guys, who worked like dogs in unbearable heat. They were exceptionally tidy and organised. Eric the supervisor never once showed up to check on the work and make sure things were going okay. He was not truthful about filing permits and requesting inspections, telling me that if I had to wait for an inspection to be done before getting final payment, wed be bankrupt. We had to call the city ourselves to check on engineered drawings and to arrange our own inspection. Overall, very pleased with the quality of the arbor, just wish the quality would extend to the supervisors.

On a scale of 1 to 10, I would so give Deck master a 10 plus! We are so pleased with the way our patio cover turned out, and can’t wait to start enjoying it!

We built our deck and patio cover about four years ago. It looked good when they first completed it. We had a few minor issues for them to take care of and they were less than happy to have to come back out to take care of it. Year 2, we had to completely replace the cover because it was so poorly supported and constructed. Today, I just got done pulling a portion of the deck apart due to it sagging in a area. Upon opening things up, I discovered that they did not install any supports between joist. It took about 5 hours out of my weekend and about $86.00 to fix. Do yourself a favor and call someone that will do it right the first time and not shave corners to save cost. HIGHLY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM!!!!

There were prompt and completed the deck quickly. It looks beautiful and we couldnt be happier.
