Sales people were knowledgeable and not pushy at all, just very helpful. We purchased a dishwasher and had it delivered and installed and old one taken away. The delivery/installation guy name Jesse Moore was outstanding. We loved doing business with genuine appliance.

I purchased a stove, dishwasher and refrigerator with an icemaker from Genuine Appliances in Arnold on August 29, 2020. There were a few hiccups along the way, sending the wrong dishwasher and a few scratches on the refrigerator door.However, Jesse the technician who installs the appliances returned the next day with the correct dishwasher and some paint to cover the scratches. While he was there I asked about my icemaker which they just installed the day prior. It had only made 2 icecubes in 24 hours. He looked and said the icemaker water line was probably bad and the saddle valve would need to bereplaced. I explained I paid for the icemaker as well as set up and installation for all three appliances including the icemaker. He said installation only includes installing it in the freezer which is two screws. He said if you want us to fix the icemaker water line it would be an additional $70.00. I said i thought thats what set up and installation was for? Guess they must think you dont need water to make ice? Had I known i would have paid the additional fees at the time of purchase. I could of had everything done in one day instead of them coming out on three separate occasions. Jesse advised of what part I needed and it was only about $10, yet they want to charge me an additional $70 dollars plus parts on a $10 part that should have been included from the get go after spending 2K on appliances.I called the store today to discuss, spoke with Brian. Hmmm was a real treat he was to deal with and the reason I am giving a two star review to warn other customers of these hidden fees and the arrogance of Brian at the Arnold location.I advised of the purchase of my icemaker as well as the installation cost I was given for each appliance by Brad when I purchased the appliances. Brian told me the $149.99 was only for the set up of the dishwasher which only required them to plug in and hook up the water line that was already there. I tried to explain i was told differently by the salesman I purchased the appliances from. However all arrogant Brian wanted to do was tell me about Home Depots installation prices. If I wanted to hear about Home Depot, I would have went there instead of Genuine Appliances.Beware of hidden fees prior to purchasing appliances and hope you dont have arrogant Brian as your salesman. If you do, please walk out the door and go across the street to Home Depot.

I bought a washer from Loews and it quit in the 1st month,Loews offered to Fix. After much discussion I got money back, went to Maytag Store bought a beautiful washer, bigger and cheaper. Then I recently bought a brand new Maytag Stove, glass top Fantastic Oven. I went in there with a stove already picked out and he told me the one I bought was jut as good since I didn’t need all the added features on other stove. Right before the shut down I purchased a dented refrigerator for aFantastic Price. Will be delivered this week, MY CHOICE to wait.Great Store great owner, very knowledgeable and Vey Fair Priced.I will never ever deal with a big box store AGAIN, they (Loews) were absolutely horrible, did without washer for almost a month.The owner also has answers if you have anyQuestions. Highly recommend! The technician was very efficient and the cost was very reasonable. We were going to go through the technicians that Maytag recommended for our fairly basic repair and it was going to be about 3x as much as Genuine Maytag charged us. Ill also note that our issue was believed to just be a latch replacement, but the technician ended up having to also fix the mount on our dishwasher once he put in the new latch and it still wasnt working correctly. He was quickly able to diagnose what the additional issue was and fixed it in a snap.

Bought a fridge back in 2010 and it was a great experience. So when my wife said she had it with our old washer I thought of Genuine Appliance. Checked prices online at all the BIG BOX stores and ran to Genuine Appliance. They showed my wife the differences between top and front loaders and explained HE detergents. Within about 90 mins we bought a new washer and dryer for a very good price. This was the Thurs before Memorial day and they delivered the following Wed. Momma happy so Im happy. Family owned and family friendly. Thanks John and Brian for another good experience. Will return when another appliance bites the dust.

Worst experience I have ever had with a large purchase.Previously bought a fridge from these guys. No issues there. So decided to repeat my business and bought a dishwasher. They did not have it in stock. Attempted a delivery the next week. Installers came and unhooked the old unit, but discovered the new Maytag was damaged. Was told theyd order a replacement and be in on Thur. Installers left us without running water. I had to cap off the supply line to the dishwasher. Thur comes and we are told the delivery would be late afternoon and they couldnt deliver it until the following week. Informed of my dislike as we are going on 2 weeks since purchase. Then was offered to deliver on Saturday.Installer comes Saturday while Im at work so my wife is only there. Installs the new Maytag but twists the copper hot water pipe and it begins to leak. Does not offer to fix it and tells her to turn off the water to the house so she can have it fixed!Again left without water and now a busted pipe. $183 to have a plumber come fix his mistake on a Sunday. We had two more appliances to purchase from them in the future. Not a chance now. Plenty of places to buy appliances. Suggest you look elsewhere.

HORRIBLE !! GOT A DISHWASHER INSTALLED ON FRIDAY. FULL OF WATER AND DEAD ON SATURDAY! I CALLED THE STORE 8 TIMES WITH NO ANSWER . I WENT OVER AND THE GUY GOT ANNOYED WHEN I SAID I CALLED . HE TOLD ME WITHOUT ENVEN KNOWING THAT IT WAS MY ELECTRICITY ! WHEN I TOLD HIM MY LAST DISHWASHER WORKED FINE ON THAT CIRCUIT...HE HONESTLY SAID WELL THEN WHY DID YOU BUY A NEW ONE. cause it was old!! he told me it was not the appliance nor the install. they send Mike a repair guy to look at it. he was so condensing to me that my son wanted to ask him to leave the house!! he asked me what the occupation of the person that checked the breaker switch was. When I told him engineer he said that was not impressive and hes been doing this for 25 years. he did not want me asking any question at all. he told me after I asked how it is connected that I was questioning his work. ummm no! I went in to ask to return the washer(which I was told I could for $100). I was told that I was rude and ignorant and they would not take it back, as it was the house not the appliance!!! my home is 10 years old and never had issues!!! I am disgusted by this local store. we have used them before without issue. DO NOT USE THEM!!

Install on Friday. Dead and full of water Saturday morning. Was told it’s my electrical before even looking at it. Was treated awful when asking for service in this dishwasher .Service tech came and was so rude my son wanted to ask him to leave !! He asked what the occupation of the person that checked the breaker was?? Then got mad when i said he was an engineer . The dishwasher threw the breaker for some reason and it does not dry the dishes. They have a Return policy but are not honoring it. They are super nice until something is wrong.

My father spent almost $10,000 buying a top of the line front loader washer and dryer from here. Last week the dryer started getting very loud and not drying as well, called there todayand they said there is nothing they can do we are 1 month and 3 weeks outside our 1 year warranty (I figured since we spent so much the warranty would be longer than 1 year) and even if it was covered they have no one there who is knowledgeable or trained to work on our high end unit that I need to contact the maker. For one if someone spends what we did you’d think there would be some grace since we are just outside the warranty time, secondly how are you an appliance store that supposed to honor warranty’s and sell products but unable to perform maintenance or repairs on the products you sell. That’s ludicrous had we known they weren’t familiar or knowledgeable on this high end unit we would not have bought them and gotten a set that that they seller was confident on. Feel like we were suckered and misled at the time of purchase because they “sold” us on them and now we know they were not in a place to sell us something they know nothing about. Ignorance is bliss but in this situation it was at our expense
