Team is great.Even with Karens and Chads alike the veterans and the new hires are accommodating and patient with requests.Been through multiple times now always a great experience.
Good job for the hiring managers and staff. Everyone is always very nice and helpful. Very pleasant place.
The new owner have made a difference! Team there is always fast, friendly, efficient and helpful!
Fabulous and honest service!I ship both small & extremely large, expensive packages from this location. And Im lazy and dont like to pack things myself. The team here always steers me in the best direction for getting exactly what I need & only what I need. Even though theyre incredibly busy with this pandemic. Its still so personal! A rarity..Ive used them for years, including 3 days ago after a Huge shipment and felt compelled by the continued great service to make sure I posted a review letting it be known their service is top notch.Dont forget to use your AAA card & get your discount :)
Initially had correspondence by email on a quote for a print job. I thought I was going to get great service. A few days later they never got back with me. Good start with zero follow through.
I think this UPS store is great for businesses and other uses.
Always helpful and great problem solvers. Being open until 6:30pm really helps. I do a lot of UPS shipping here and I am grateful for the locally owned & operated service.
My wife needed to have a fingerprint scan done for work. The girl that was assigned to the task appeared very inexperienced at the procedure As a result either they were not submitted at all or she typed in the wrong ATI number and 2 months later we found out that UPS had never sent the fingerprints. Its a very good thing we started this process 2 and a 1/2 months early or my wife would be out of a job thanks to the UPS store. The board of registered nursing has sent us back there next week to get it done again I can only pray that they do it right this time. And just as an aside the UPS store never notified us when the board of registered nurses notified them of their error.
I just drop off package with label already on and have had no problems at all.
This is one of the worst UPS stores we have come across! We travel a lot for several months out of the year and deal with a lot of UPS stores to have our mail, packages, etc forwarded. The manager, Carolynn, was atrocious. She treated my wife with complete disrespect. The employees were nice, but that doesn’t even begin to make up for the hostile behavior of the manager, disorganization, and inept of the store. DO NOT do business here unless you feel like being verbally abused and mistreated.
My husband and I sell cards on Etsy and we always do our printing at the UPS Store. The print quality is great and theyre always super helpful! We just drop off our flash drive and then just pick them up later and they always get them done quickly and to all of our weird specifications. We also got our marriage certificate notarized there and it was very quick and easy with no appointment needed. I would definitely recommend them!
Always have received great service. Friendly and efficient help.If you have to wait, its cuz youre not the only person on the Earth.
We were having some estate items shipped to New York from Pismo. I contacted moving companies and they were not too helpful. I called Carolee at the UPS store and she said they could pack and ship the items. Her estimate was 50% below the movers cost. She said she thought she could combine items and save cost. We shipped through her. She packed the items and combined several items and rerolled a rug to ship ground verses freight. Many items were very breakable. All arrived undamaged. Packing job was great. She saved me a lot of money too. Friendly, helpful and cost effective who could ask for more?
The service at this location was poor when I visited. I was going to ship a large package and was interested in hearing different options. I was given one very high rate and was further referred to the internet. I went to fedex and they were very helpful and I shipped it for 3x less the cost that what I was quoted in store here.
I called 10 min before they closed to see if I could get something notarized that was very time sensitive. The person on the phone said that I would have to wait until the next day because they were closing in 10 min. Because they were still open, and I was already driving there, I had still made it into the store with 8 minutes until closing. The notary person again said I could not get it notarized, even though I was standing in front of him because they had to count the droors and close everything up, and he said, it might take too long. I still had to print something out, so they were still going to have to wait on me. I fully understand wanting to get out of work on time, and dont like when people come in last minute to do something, but it is rediculous that the employees were unwilling to help me because they were almost closed. It was very unprofessional and it lost the store business because I will be going elsewhere from now on.
Poor service. I waited for someone to help me, but I had to wait for awhile. I was told last shipment was at 5:15, so I hurried to get thereand they said my package was for air delivery and that last shipment was 4:15. I wish they would have told me that info when I was on the phone with them. They were rude, not friendly at all. Very dissapointed in their services.
I have used the UPS Store in Arroyo Grande a few times for quick printing needs when my printer was being repaired. Yesterday I had to go to print some items from a USB as my printer is broken. I then needed one of the documents scanned to my email.Yesterday I was told to use one of their multi-purpose machines to scan and they assured me as long as I put in my email it would scan the item and send the electronic version to my email. Unfortunately I was in a hurry so I scanned the items, finished my printing, paid and was on my way. The items never arrived in my email. I checked spam folders and everything.Today I went back specifically to get the item scanned. A different person told me he would have to scan it on a different machine. I waited 10 minutes and the item never arrived in my email. It never arrived. When I asked him about it he said sometimes things just take awhile, I think its this building. I asked at that time to have the item scanned on my usb. Then at least Id have an electronic version. The clerk took my usb scanned the item and assured me all was done. Unfortunately when I got home not only did the email never arrive, the item was not saved on my USB.I went back for a second time and the owner was there and resolved by issue and apologized for the issue. She was very helpful but unfortunately I cannot give them a better rating.
$115.00 to package and send a 22lb box not that big in size from CA to MA. I dont think so. Post office was much less expensive.
Thank you for the quick turn-around on my print request and thank you for making it so easy.
Reviews for UPS store on Grand on their local site & YelpOn 10/31/16 I took my computer to the UPS store at 1375 Grand Ave STE 103 in Arroyo Grande, CA 93420, to be sent to my computer repair person in Temecula CA. I was talking to an employee working in the store who asked if I wanted the package insured. I said yes and they said that I would need to purchase one of their boxes for the computer. As I was standing at the counter, the lady who managed the store, Carolee, was working with another gentleman, so she removed my computer from the scale to put his material on the scale. When she removed my computer from the scale she turned and went half way to the floor and then dropped my computer. I heard it make a loud noise when it hit the floor. I immediately said you dropped my computer. The manager Carolee Dasmann said: “no I did not”.I saw Carolee Dasmann drop the computer right in front not me. I will testify under oath or pay for both of us to take a lie detector test any time. I paid for an extra box and I paid for insurance. They contacted my computer person who validated that the computer was damaged upon arrival. He said the computer had been dropped on the bottom of the computer because all of the computer components insides hang from the top of the computer and it was jarred loose and some parts broken. My claim was denied because they said we should have let them inspect it before it left my computer repair persons home in Temecula.I will never use UPS again and I ship lots of materials. I should have looked at the reviews for that UPS store because they have some bad review already.Dr. Ed J. Muraski
Friendly good service...great for the area. They also have a Notary on premises, as well as, copy machines.
Always fast and efficient.
Nothing
The gal I talked to on the phone, Amanda I believe, was very helpful. She quickly was able to answer my questions and was kind which seems rare recently. Call the store directly, don’t call UPS. You get a person to talk to on the first ring. If you call the UPS 1-800 number you’ll spend 5 min trying to get a person who’s unhelpful.
