Huge Walmart with lots of stuff! Clean and has subway inside.

This place is clean and convenient and for the most part friendly in this small town but nothing spectacular.

The app said the vacuum cleaner I just scanned a code off of was not in stock! Seems like this is happening more often than not! When I tried to find an associate it took me about 15 minutes. I was able to find that most of the cashiers were open so I was actually able to to check out in less time than it took me to do my shopping. Hope that continues!

I’ve given this Walmart a 2 which really should be a MINUS 2 for customer service! Three times this week (8/23-8/28) I’ve been to this Walmart at different times. 9:15 am, 10:20 am and 12:30 pm and found NO SHOPPING CARTS! Plenty in the parking lot! I’ve recently had knee replacement surgery so if I can, I get an electrical cart I do but twice there was none and I had to hobble with my cane from one side of the store to the other hunting a cart. I told a woman in front of Customer Service about and she pointed out a guy for me to talk to. When I finally got a cart, the last one I might add, I went to him to tell him about my last three times there and finding no carts. He RUDELY informed me that I should come EARLIER so that I could get a cart. I informed him that the day before 2 of his employees were sitting on the side of the building with CARTS smoking and the place where carts should have been was empty. As I hobbled away he was mumbling under his breath. I certainly wish I would have noticed his NAME because I would talk to his manager about his rudeness. There’s NO EXCUSE for employees RUDENESS. I see why an older gentleman told me that if I wanted to be treated right to go to the Hobbs Walmart! Well I’m ready to check them out because Carlesbad Walmart has MUCH TO NE DESIRED!

Customer service very rude and in the tire department waited for 30 mins before I went and found help, while the employee in that department was to busy visiting with a friend an would not help. Otherwise this store is very nice and clean.

This store is ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!! Not because of the condition itself but because there are so many people that DO NOT have a mask on(literally freely walking around) and have no respect for anybody because of this. Wow. If I could I wouldn’t even put a gold star. Why isn’t this being forced? This is absolutely ridiculous for Christ sake, you guys are affecting my grandmother. Walmart needs to do something about this.

It was easy to get through and check out went great

I made an order, it was supposed to be shipped, but then wasnt. I was then sent an email saying this store had my order. When I went to pick it up an employee told me they didnt have it, and made up three different stories as to why they didnt have it.

I usually like coming here. Store was nice and clean as usual. But to check out there was only two cashiers. The rest were self serve. Artisia Wal-Mart is usually better then that. I live in Carlsbad and drive to Artisia store because I like it better.

I have used grocery pickup before and was happy except the one time I got fresh asparagus and it was blooming which a produce person would not pick.Yesterday around noon asked for delivery for 7pm and then that was cancelled until 8. Order took too long because the $100.+order was out of stock until $30.and missing over 20 items.Went to the store and found everything that was on my list.Ill try again but things need to be in stock.

They are rude.The prices are like the stock market... inconsistentand based on how the cost is different every time for same rx, it makes you wonder if there is fraud in play hereMoved all my rx to other business.There is absolutely nothing at Walmart that I need to ever purchase that can’t be bought elsewhere from owners that care about customers!

Took over 45 min for an oil change. Rude workers. Said I could not get Mobil 1 oil change because they did not have any on the shelf due to covid. I found the Mobil 1 on the shelf and gave it to them.

I did my shopping and stopped by ladies room. When I came out my cart was gone. Wal-Mart personnel check different places but no luck. Why would someone take someone elses cart? Covid has brought out some wonderful people but also strange going on like taking toilet paper out of a senior cart and my incident.

Went looking for a CD disc cleaning/buffer and they didnt have anything that would work..

Reasonably clean but always big lines unless you pick self checkout. The staff are decently friendly but they dont know where stuff is when you ask.

I was the only customer in the Automotive Center. Took them 18 min to change the oil. Took three of them 40 min to rotate and balance my tires. I could understand if this was a weekend, but it is 4 pm on a Tuesday. 5 pm, truck still in shop. They have moved on to other customers lining up outside. No one is attending my vehicle. 5:13 pm, walking around talking. Moving truck at 5:14, lug nut caps left on floor as they pull truck out of garage. Unsure why they drove truck around for a ride. 5:16 guy sitting in my truck outside garage. 5:17 they notice caps are off. 5:19, checkout. Reminder: I came in at 4...

I shop here because it is a small town but most of the time they are out of at least one of the items on my list. The prices on the shelves dont always match up with the products. Its nearly impossible to get any customer service. If you need help in the fabric or photo department, be prepared for a long wait.

Artesia has the best walmart in Southeast New Mexico. Better than Carlsbad, Hobbs, and Roswell. The shelves are organized and well stocked. Also very clean.

Very clean and easy to access from road. I am only dropping a star because they didn’t have the 2 items I needed. The Carlsbad Walmart carries different inventory I guess.

I went into customer service to put money on a card and the representative mistakenly shorted me $300. I went back in and they were so kind and willing to help fix the issue and they even tried to lighten the mood and had me laughing. I didn’t even mind the mistake.

I can find just about anything I need and want at a reasonable price.

Need more cashiers this making you scan your own things does not fare well with me

Love this Wal-Mart found what I needed with help, and nice set up.

In and out in no time, got what I needed and I didnt have to wait in a long line, self checkout was quick and easy.

Our Walmart employees have really stepped up during the Covid 19 lockdown. I have witnessed custumers giving them a hard time and yet they remained professional and shook it off to help the next customer. They have been so great. I am very grateful for their hard work and that they are kind, courteous and helpful

I am very disappointed in this store. I am having trouble seeing while driving with my old prescription. Now that the state has lifted restrictions and Walmart advertised the vision center would be open but restricted I went to order my new glasses. There were two people there. One easily identified as a walmart vision employee with name badge and white smock reading vision center. She seemed genuinely ready to assist me. A woman from the back office began speaking across the store to us. She did come out of the back office but stayed at the back of the store on top of having a mask on made it hard to hear her. She was dressed in street clothes no walmart smock, no walmart id badge. However, she did boss around the other girl. She was rude. Denied me service, would not order me glasses because SHE deemed it was not an emergency. I need glasses to drive, I am not able to see properly, I repeated. As I reminded her that the restrictions have been relaxed, their signs say they are servicing customers she still refused to offer me service. This needs to be addressed ASAP.
