Ive had 2 tattoos done here, both by Jeremy. He works fairly stocky which helps with the pain but does a beautiful job. Cant wait for the next one!

Jess was wonderful! So nice and friendly with me and my daughters. Walked me through my piercing, explaining everything she was doing before she did it. She is super knowledgeable, even offered to follow up on my daughters new piercing that she got elsewhere if she has troubles with it. I will definitely go to Jess again if I get any other piercings.

Duncan did an amazing job for my first tattoo. He made sure I was comfortable and that the experience was nothing to worry about. The environment was incredibly friendly and upbeat and the prices were very reasonable! I will be coming back to ink junkies for my next tattoo

I had a half-sleeve done by the owner Jeremy. I told him what I wanted and he came up with a creative design that was better than I imagined. The tattoo quality is outstanding... some of the best Ive ever seen. His work is spectacular! I have had more compliments on his artwork over the last week than I did with the previous tattoos I’ve had for 30 years! I absolutely could not be happier, and HIGHLY recommend having him do your work.

To the lady who posted about her industrial piercing. I was there when you where pierced getting tattooed. I WITNESSED THE PIERCER CHANGER HER GLOVES THREE TIMES! The piercer had your best interest in mind trying to tell you how the industrial is a bad piercing doesn’t heal well and has conflicting points of entry. Also to her husband WHO WASNT THERE, you whereby there and you’re trying to bash a lovely friendly establishment because you’re angry that the piercer told you it wouldn’t heal and well and big surprise it didn’t. As I was being tattooed I was disgusted by the attitude of this woman and I watched in horror as she mistreated the piercer and did not even listen to her explain aftercare as she was on her phone and talking to her daughter. Also FYI DES Neosporin isn’t proper aftercare. Highly recommend this place to anyone who isn’t entitled. The only person I would say shouldn’t come here is anyone who expects Walmart treatment from a tattoo shop. I don’t work here but the poor piercer doesn’t deserve this

My sister referred me this shop after she got a small tattoo done on her wrist by the girl here named Angel. I talked with her about a big tattoo I wanted and we were in the process of scheduling but not able to find a good time when she did a slightly bigger tattoo on my sister and her friend. They both had a terrible time saying she pushed entirely too hard on their skin and her line work was subpar and mentioned it felt strange afterwards but didn’t think anything of it until it started peeling and scaring. Both tattoos are done are completely ruined, their legs are scared and it made me 2nd guess going to her for my big tattoo so I asked a few months later since we never made an appointment if it was okay to use my deposit on a small touch up on ONE letter on my finger. A tattoo I already have, just wanted to use my deposit to touch up a space that’s about 2.5 centimeters long and is just the letter ‘C’. At first she was okay with changing the tattoo until I said I just wanted a touch up and nothing original from her she then became extremely unprofessional and rude. Their tattoo quality is scary subpar, and she’s messed up every person my sister sent her to after that first one. Do NOT trust this place for tattoos.

While I personally did not use their services my spouse and daughter did. Im reviewing because my wife had a poor experience and quite frankly their lack of professionalism when responding took me by surprise. I wouldnt recommend, my daughter wont return and I wont take any of my children here for any future piercings.

I got my nose pierced here the other day and it was such a great experience, for one it only cost me $20 plus tip due to a promotion they were having (compared to $75 that a lot of Denver places charge) and Jess, the piercer, was so kind and professional. I definitely recommend!!

Update: In response to the owner that is a bold faced flat out lie. For one you didnt just warn me you talked about the piercing as if it was simply a bad one.. I know for a fact Jess did not change her gloves.AT ALL. The fact that youre more concerned with saving face than actually caring about a customers experience speaks volumes in itself. This is simply more unprofessionalism on your part. I have kept a video and photo diary every step of the way from the moment I stepped foot into your shop. I have it on video and now I will undoubtedly post and review these photos and videos everywhere I can since this is how you have decided to go about it. And for the record a month and a half after getting it removed by a reputable piercer I still had an indentation from Jesss poor placement. Not to mention the same reputable piercer scoffed when I mention your shop. Seems like they have had to fix more of your work than youre aware. Thank you.I called ahead to ask about an industrial piercing and all Jess,, the piercer, did was talk badly about the piercing I wanted and didnt have one positive thing to say. It was uninviting upon entry, the artist present did not even acknowledge me. I waited several minutes before someone came out the back and asked what I needed help with. As far as the services I received I was there for a nose piercing an industrial piercing as well as to get my daughters ears pierced. My experience seemed ok at first glance but I should have listened to my gut and walked out when I saw things I was uncomfortable with. For example she touched EVERYTHING with the same gloves she pierced us with. She never changed them. Not after touching the cabinets or drawers. Not in-between piercing two different clients regardless or whether it was my daughter. After piercing one of my daughters ears she came over and adjusted my nose piercing that had somehow turned outward and was sticking out my nose. When I sat back down for my industrial she struggled with getting the needle through (she pulled my ear out and wiggled the needle until it popped through the skin) and went straight through the top of my ear and downwards to the bottom helix (This entire process was extremelyuncomfortable). Unfortunately though instead of standardly piercing through the helix rim, the hole was placed too close to my scapha which is now causing migration. 😕 After putting my daughters health at risk, my health at risk, piercing me incorrectly and with low quality jewelry ( I should have been pierced with nothing less than implant grade titanium with internal threading). When I began having issues and called for advice she told me how horrible of a piercing it was once again and to got to the doctor but if I wanted I could come in and she would look at it. I went into a dim shop that afternoon where Jess stood several feet back and exclaimed that it was infected then once again said it was a horrible piercing..what she should have said was that she didnt want to or couldnt do it so that I could have went to a reputable piercer instead. It was not infected and infact the issues I was facing were due to the placement. Im so bummed out. I paid her $165 for a headache, pain and definitely some suffering. Ideally Id love to take it all back but I cant so at the least I want my money back for this piercing. want a refund for this industrial .Jess was not professional in her standards and I would not recommend anyone going here for a piercing. Please please check out your piercer before making a decision and trust your gut! I should have walked out.I have since went to a reputable piercer and got the bar removed immediately you could see the indentation left behind from where the bar was pushing up against my scapha.

Great place to get tatted up

I took my 6-year-old daughter for her ear piercing, along with a friend that also had it done. The piercer was AMAZING with both girls! Explained everything to them, so they understood what was going on, in a totally relatable way. When the first girl had her first ear done, the whole shop cheered, because she did such a great job! I would absolutely go back again, and will most likely have my next tattoo done there as well.

I came in to talk to somebody about getting a tat covered the shop was closing in about an hour and I kind of just wanted to get some ink done Im terrible with names and forgot the guys name but he was nice and talked to me about my plans. He also asked me if I wanted to get something right then it could be something small so I decided to get my daughters name tatted on my arm. Its nothing big or too difficult but he did a really good job and Im very pleased with it. Only reason I gave four stars and not five was it because well I was getting Inked there was not much conversation and at the end of the tattoo I was trying to decide on having an infinity symbol placed into it but kind of felt rushed and couldnt decide. But overall the ink is what matters and he did a great job for me just stopping in on a whim.Thanks!

Excellent customer service

Called today to ask about a dermal removal and first off they answered the phone so friendly and just told me to walk in. I showed up about an hour later and I first noticed how nice, clean and inviting the place was. Angel did the removal and she did such a great job! She talked to me throughout the process and let me know what she was doing step by step. She was quick, and honestly she made it hurt a lot less than I thought it would. This was not an easy removal because the jewelry didn’t want to cooperate and I had this thing for at least 7+ years, and she made it seem so easy! Will definitely be back!

Went in to get my septum done and had a great experience! The staff was super friendly with the perfect mix of funny and professional. The man doing my piercing made sure to show me that he was sterilizing everything that was going to be used. Quality service and jewelry for a great price.

Great piercer James and a cool environment. Got my nose done and I couldnt be happier. Not many piercers will put a hoop in right away and James has wicked skills and confidence to do it. I saw some tattoo work being done during my visit and it looked like solid work. 👍

I called on Sunday at 11am and was able to walk in at noon. Skylar was super nice and did an amazing touch up on a bad tattoo I had. I was very happy with his design and the colors he chose. He is really soft handed and even though he was working on a sensitive area, it didn’t hurt nearly as much as I had anticipated. I am definitely going back to him to finish my sleeve!

OMG absolutely the best! I am not artistic at all, I went in wanting a sleeve and knew about some items I wanted in it and a theme but couldnt visualize it and I draw stick figures so.... I spoke with Jeremy about my ideas. He sat there for roughly 30 minutes asking me questions about how I wanted it to look and was so cool and patient about my lack of creativity. After our meeting he just said no problem I can do it and make it look great. I set up my appointment and when I came in he had a lot of different drawings and ideas. He said well put this one here and this one there. I was so blown away at how complex and exact the drawings were. He and his staff were always so professional and NICE. Jeremy is like your best friend who will just talk to you like a regular person and make you feel totally comfortable. The detail work and artwork is perfect, I couldnt be happier! The design and clarity of the detail is perfect. His prices are very good and the quality is out of this world! Totally recommend to anyone wanting a quality tattoo.

Melody was amazing! Came in with a family tattoo project and she did an amazing job. She really makes it unique and makes sure it’s exactly how you want it! My dad has had multiple tattoos from her and will only go back to her. Her coworker, one of the tattoo artists with huge gages however was super rude to us and definitely needs to take a class on how to treat people especially in the business he is in. We weren’t even his clients and he went off on us for throwing away a Starbucks in the trash can. Wouldn’t recommend working with him and felt bad for how he was treating the people round him but would run back to melody any day!

This was the most unprofessional establishment I have ever been to for any type of body modification. A little over a week ago I called them to see if they were doing lip piercings. I asked the piercer if he could do an ashley piercing. He said to come in even though he was not quiet sure what i was talking about. Me thinking that I may of just called it the wrong thing I go in. After I got there he told me he could do it then proceeded to clean the incorrect part of my lip. I then asked about it and he cleaned the correct spot however only on the outside of my lip. After cleaning my lip he then showed me the jewelry and told me that I may have a problem with the length of the bar during healing and told me that he did not sell the right type. He proceeded to say that if I found the right type of bar to bring it in and he would change it for free. After sanitizing everything by just pouring a liquid on top of it and touching everything else he then failed to change his gloves before piercing my lip. The next day I experienced a normal amount of swelling for a lip and I then did have an issue with the length of the bar and both sides of the bar were buried in my lip so I then got a longer bar as instructed and then called the shop. He then said he did not want to change it and I should just keep pulling on the bar to make sure the skin didnt grow over it. Even after I explained to him about the pain and he said if I needed too to come in the next day. I decided to not go back because of how terrible my experience was. I would never recommend ink junkie tattoo to anyone I know. And am a strong believer that the piercer should not have a piercing license.

I called within store hours to get details about a piercing and I was automatically put to voice mail saying to put my name and number and someone will get back to me. I didn’t mind, but later that day and the following day I called again and still no response. I had no way of checking if you guys were open other than actually driving there to see. I’m sure I would have no problem with your guys’ actual work, it is just the customer service that wasn’t the strongest.

One of my best friends angel works here and has done both of my tattoos, one of which was freehand/freestyle and came out absolutely beautiful, the other was a flash and it looked exactly like it did on her sheet. Shes an amazing artist, shes very professional, very clean, and her line work is astounding. Shes one of the best creatives i know, she can take a concept you have and make it 10x better than you could have imagined. I love her work so much Im saving a whole leg for her, and Id highly recommend you get something done by her or anyone else at the shop. You literally cannot go wrong with ink junkies.

Ive gotten eleven piercings and 4 tattoos from here. Theyre amazing! Everything is clean and they make sure that youre comfortable. Always willing to work with you an amazing place I recommend it to everyone I know.

They have a rule that you have to contact them 24 hrs before your tattoo in order to reschedule while keeping your deposit. I tried contacting them 2 days prior to my tattoo several times and got blown off each time. When I finally had the time to go in and reschedule they blew me off again. The day of my tattoo I finally got in contact with the artist and she told me that they could not refund my deposit and that I had plenty of time to reschedule by contacting her on the card she gave me which she said had her contact information on it. The card she gave me had only the number of the shop which I called several times to try to reschedule but consistently got blown off. They have terrible costumer service and I would not recommend going here.

Ive been to a handful of different tattoo shops and this one so far is my favorite and its all about the staff! I am always greeted with a smile and I feel like a person, not just another paying blanket of skin to tattoo. It doesnt matter whos working, I ALWAYS feel welcome. Jeremy is my artist and he hooks me up with whatever I need and answers all of my questions. Theres a reason hes booked out for months! The wait is well worth it! His is FAST and TALENTED AS HELL!! I cant wait to go back in October for my next piece!

My best friend and I decided we wanted our belly buttons pierced. When we got there the girl was really short with us. I went first and my piercing is not visible at all. My best friends she used to much skin. Mine has been hurting so bad since that day. I had to take it out. She completely did mine wrong. NEVER GO HERE FOR ANY PIERCINGS!!!

I have had 9 tattoos done by 4 different artists at this shop, 3 of which were coverups from other shops in Arvada. I have also had several piercings done here. I have brought my kids here for their first tattoos and most of their piercings and they will never go to anyone but artists at Ink Junkies. They have done a phenomenal job. They are professional, friendly and personable. They make it fun to be there and the art they lay on your skin has each artists own original spin to it. It’s not sticker art it is real art and worth every dollar I have paid them. They are also the only shop I have ever been in where they will recommend another artist there if they think that artist will do a specific piece better. Which I find great as most places would never give a piece to someone else because they don’t want to lose the money from it. It shows true professionalism and friendship among the artists there.The shop itself is very clean has a ton of art on the walls that have been done by the artists themselves.Donnie was my first artist and he is the reason I came back again. My biggest coverup I have, he did and I couldn’t be happier with it.Jessica has done 2 on my shoulders, one of which was a cover up and they are amazing and just pop out at you.Skylar has done 3 for me. He has made them so bright and colorful and they just stand out. I love them.Jeremy the owner has been working on my sleeve for a little over a year and I receive so many compliments on it almost daily.Needless to say, the shop, the artists and the atmosphere are fantastic and I will never go anywhere else.
