Store was clean and fairly organized. Not much clutter in the aisles. I did have some difficulty finding a soda aisle. Prices were ok. I could be mistaken but this place seemed to cater to a more ethnic demographic because I saw a lot [more than other similarly sized grocery stores] of imported/foreign products. The cashier was nice. Despite only one register being open, checkout was fast. Definitely going to shop here again when in the area and I might go out of my way to visit this place on grocery shopping day.

Im not putting em down, the people working were cool. But as far as grocery stores are concerned & the overall experience... Im a food lion fan. Sorry

Didnt like seeing food in very old and dirty looking coolers. Could have been painted first, would have helped in my opinion. But otherwise nice.

The manager always helpful and so is the staff. Wide variety of produce and meats. Deli department have the best fried chicken. Always very stock and a wide selection of products, including international products.

Great meat prices but every thang alse is double priced good quality of meat but like I said every thang alse so over priced.

Way more affordable than Lowes and the meat selection is 10x better. This is our go to grocery store.

Dont buy anything thats not on sell you will pay double or more on some items.

This was an awesome grocery store because its like an american grocery store and a Mexican grocery store combined. The only problem is that some things are more expensive than they should be.

The store manager oscar told us that deapite medical exemptions they require a mask for serviceHe refused to actually read the mandate and continuously harasses us while we were in the store. This needs to stop! Make sure your store managers are properly educated. Will not return to this discriminatory place

Had what I was looking for, unfortunately the frozen peas were 2 1/2 years out of date and freezer burned. Recommend you check everything you buy there.

Loved the Just Save there. Prices are never real sale prices. Every now and then you can find good deals on meat. The store overall caters to the Hispanic Community. Selling a lot of foods in their culture and taste. Its a good store, dont get me wrong. To be honest. I liked it best as Lowes Food. Before Lowes started acting like their products are made of gold.Mikey Out. Oooohhhh Yeah!!!!

The meat selection has grown and the butchers are knowledgeable in the different cuts and are helpful and friendly.

Its convenient to get to by some of the food is so high and the eggs are cheap but theyre no good

Prices are way too high compared to other stores in Asheboro, the place smells like rotting produce and rotting meat. The employees dress completely unprofessional !!! I couldnt tell who was working and who was just another customer, no uniform, no shirt with the Compare Foods logo on it . The manager or owner was yelling at stock boys for no reason saying they didnt have any common sense ! This is no way to treat anybody the employees were just young teenage boys who didnt deserve to be spoken to that way! How about having some patience and treating people with respect. I WILL NEVER SHOP IN THIS STORE EVER AGAIN AND I WILL BE TELLING EVERYONE NOT TO SHOP HERE!!!!!!!!!!

Compare Foods is a neighborhood convenience store, disguised as a grocery store; a little pricey within the isles, but good deals on meat. Shop there only if desperate.

In my opinion this store is a bit pricey. I think that $7.49 is a bit much for a pound of bacon. As well as $3.99 for a loaf of bread. I see a lot of seniors shopping here and I know most are on a fixed income; what do they do? Chose meds, or food. This is strictly my opinion.

Great Grocery Store, and friendly staff. Most of their pricing is comparable, some items are less that other stores, but some items are slightly higher.

Fresh affordable meats. Akso, deli Chicken special with 8pieces, 2 large sides, and tea.10 bucks and some change!

Big gnats inthe bread and produce area and really poor selection. The hispanic food isle is the best part of the store because it has the most selection.

Prices far out of line with others local grocers. On the plus side the fried chicken is supposed to be the same as before and they have added some Mexican pastries.

If you go on their web site they list their weekly specials. You get to the checkout they say we dont honor the prices on the web the price is whatever it says in the isle.

This is okay. They dont have a lot of products I use. They dont stock any skim milk or fresh meats. The meats look really old and bloody. I think this store is okay as long as you dont need meats or produce.

It was okay has a lot of stuff but some of the fresh produce wasnt so fresh so I did not get it, as I was leaving that section they were coming into the produce area with boxes so maybe they are putting out some fresh stuff.
