We love our house!!!!!! We worked mainly with Crystal and John throughout the process, who were amazing. I truly believe Crystal did all she could to keep the costs down for us, even with covid driving everything up at the time. John was always available for any questions we had throughout the construction process. We love everything about our home. You can customize it however you want. Its better than I could have ever dreamed. We stopped by on a whim, were recommended a lender by Crystal, and were approved! It was so easy. I highly recommend this company. If anyone is looking to build a custom modular home then NC custom modular is the place to go. We highly recommend!!! Tanya is absolutely amazing she treated us like we are family, she did not try to sell us a home, she helped us realize the home that was within our budget and fit everything that we were looking for. She was extremely honest about what we could afford and what we can accomplish which was extremely helpful. She made us feel like we were her only customer when we knew she had many others. We always had her full attention, which meant a lot to us. Since we have our home on order currently she still is there for every step along with the John and crystal who have also been amazing to work with. My wife and I can’t say enough about the team at NC Modular if we could give more stars we would. The only place to buy a custom home as far as we are concerned!!

Working with Matt, will do follow-up review after completion. So far so good! (FOLLOW UP) Well the price went up 20,000 dollars after we signed a contract! First it went up 35,000 before we signed! Then another 20 After, Dont waste your time!! They said that we gotta lock this price in and 48 hours of locking the price in. They said it went up again, they dont honor contracts!!

I would not recommend NCCM of asheboro to anyone. I would actually steer them away from it. I have a friend that went through hell and back dealing with this company. They have horrible customer service. And very poor house building planning.

We had a great experience with NC Custom Modulars! We absolutely love our new home! Crystal was very helpful, answered any and all questions we had along the way (and we had a lot).😃 They have the best customer service and they made sure we were informed about what was happening at all times. I’m so glad we chose them to build our forever home, no regrets!

I cannot say enough good things about this company. From the people in the office to the contractors I have never been treated so respectfully. They were always there for me if I had a question and they answered everything quickly. My home is absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend this company.

I would not recommend using this company to build with. They tremendously lack in the customer service department.

We were originally happy with our home in 2017, but the poor quality of work from all involved is beginning to show. We have huge holes in our roof from shingles blowing off, the boards at the pitch of the roof are separating the entire length of the house, there are also several places throughout our home with cracks. Neither this company or champion homes has been any help in taking care of all the issues we have had, they just place blame on other parties.

We bought our house from NC Custom Modulars in Asheboro last August and they were an absolute breath of fresh air to work with. We never felt pressured to purchase from them and the communication was amazing. Our house was move in ready sooo quickly! Hands down the best experience. Go check them out if you’re looking for a new home - I promise you will not regret buying from them! (((Talk to the salesman, Levi!)))

Id rather walk on nails in the dead of winter time than to ever use this company again, I don’t recommend them at all. They need new owners.. new bosses.. promotions because only one person did their Job., Crystal. She’s wonderful as for everyone else a child would have done better.. I mean a small child around maybe 4...5 max.

Overall they are very nice people. Heather Fair and John Watson are a awesome team. If something isnt right they will make it right. I just bought my first home with them and i love it. Yall check them out.. Very beautiful homes. They will be sure you are happy!!!

A very professional business. The staff was very courtious and attentive to our desires and needs in selecting a home design suitable for our needs. They were diligent in explaining the various options available for each of the display homes we viewed. They also offered us optional homes sized to meet our lifestyle and budget with the same feeling of there larger counterparts. They were helpful with the financial part of the process. A very professional approach to home buying!

Heather,Crystal and Jon have gone above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Nice friendly people in a very relaxed atmosphere. Cant say enough good things about them.

My father was a builder so I know houses and costs to build. I would like this to post as a 4.5 Star but I can’t choose a 4.5 only whole numbers. We started with Ray the excavator looking at three properties for us. He told us the truth about a barn foundation even though it could have cost them our sale at that time. He was right when we probed and the foundation was too shallow for what I needed for my barn. When we found another property Ray came out again. We compared three quotes and he was better than fair. By request he did a “push and pile” clearing which saved us a lot of money compared to the other builder who insisted on clearing and dumping. Heather gave us a fresh quote, in writing, for all of the items we needed added to our house. We discussed how to save money on decking, and when I dug a hole and inspected our decking they had solid footings and were well built. I inspected everything with my father. When the well was dug they put me on the phone with the well guy to discuss whether or not we should go deeper. Because we need to water grass for horses we went deeper and the difference in price was discussed and in writing right then and there. There were NO surprises or price increases added to our contract. They built us the house we ordered for the price we negotiated with the only difference being my choice to dig the well deeper. Little things mattered; like how John rejected countertops I would have been ok with but he didn’t like for a slight warp. The manufacturer sent brand new ones at his request. We had time to shop around before going with this builder and it really shocked me that another company wanted 20% more for same size superior walls basement! And another company 30% more for a poured foundation of the same size! Heather knows where she can save you money but that’s why you won’t get a written price until it’s time to start. Inside our house is beautiful! Excellent tile work, finishing touches on cabinets, clean windows, etc. I know how to spackel and I was surprised Heather was ordering touch ups on areas that were fine! She went through every inch of the house to make sure it was all just right. When one deck post settled she immediately sent them out to adjust it. I took away a half star however because we had a problem with one sub contractor. It took a while but they had the job completely redone. Unfortunately with a building boom going on they didn’t have their usual guy. We are discussing a possible build for my parents now. In short, they built us what they said they would for the price on the contract without surprises. And when one item wasn’t right they fixed it. Ray, John, Johnie, deck team, heating team, Noey -Master of the Metal roof- thank you all for a really nice job! We love our home!

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!We did NOT have a good experience with this company. We were originally promised a completed house in about 8-10 weeks. It took them 11 MONTHS to finally close on the house. We had issues with materials being delivered on time for the foundation, issues with the appraisal being done, and issues with lack of communication.My husband and I have built 3 homes over the years. This was by FAR the absolute worst experience. I would not recommend buying a house from this company. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere

I could not have asked for a better staff of people!! Well educated in the homes and the products they represent! Heather was a true blessing to work with and alot of fun!! She got us more than what we were asking for and a low cost!! I have been to alot of modular home centers and this by far was the best one!! Dont waste your time anywhere else, go see these guys and open the door to your new home!!

We tried to buy a home from them. We keep getting put off on pricing. Trying to get a price took over two months. You email or call you wont get a return call or email maybe two or three days later. Heather and her team very poor customer service. Go else where plenty of places to choose from. Got to Custom homes in Burlington ask for Andy!

Very poor subcontractors. I have had countless electrical and plumbing issues since day 1. BUYER BEWARE!!!!
