These people are SO NICE. Ive only met the lady, but I think thats all anyone ever meets. It adds a little mystery to your experience. You always wonder if this will be the time you meet him. Haha. Anyway, they are incredibly knowledgeable and super helpful. I highly recommend them!

I dropped my water damaged lens off at Crystal camera repair, really with no hope for it to be fixed. Within 6 hours they called me and told me everything works fine even though the lens had water visibly in it for a couple days until I could come by! They were very sweet and honest and even remembered who I was when i can in the next day!! I recommend this place to EVERYONE!

I came in from out of town in TN without an appointment with family for a School Fall Break outing in Ashville . I learned about Crystal Camera through a google search and based on the positive reviews I decided to bring my by Nikon camera and prime lens for repairs because the aperture was giving error messages at higher F-Stops. I had tried everything possible, including contacts cleaning and followed all the recommended solutions from Nikon without success. When I arrived in the building I was greeted by a very nice and polite lady, who received my camera and took to their technicians. Within two minutes she came back with a perfectly working camera and lens. She explain the what was done to me. I must say that I was extremely pleased with their high degree of professional expertise in what they do. On top of that I was not charged for the services, totally blown my mind away. I went away with a working camera at all F-Stops. I will strongly recommend Crystal Camera to anyone who needs camera repairs or services. Thank you Crystal Camera!

I was in from out of town taking pictures of beautiful Asheville when all of the sudden my shutter got stuck closed. Thankfully Crystal Camera Repair was close so I immediately went there. The woman was so kind and took my 35mm camera to the man in the back to look at it after explaining what he was going to do. She brought it back out and told me what he did and that it was okay for now but if it continued they could fix it. They would even ship it back to me if I had to come home before it was done! I would definitely recommend coming here for any camera issues.

Took my camera and telephoto lens to see why it wasn’t working. It’s an automatic Nikon and I hadn’t used it in a long time. Found out the little icon on the display when clicked on was telling me the battery needed charging! DUH! They were very polite.

I brought my telescope there all the way from Knoxville (I had called ahead of time to check with them if it was sometbhing they could do) and they repaired it to the perfection doing even more than what they had to. My Nikon as luck would have it, per Nikon support is a grey market camera and not eligible for Nikon service. Contacted Crystal Camera and they repaired it in less than a week including shipping times.Definitely will use them again if the need arises. Very friendly folks as well.

So very helpful. Brought my Nikon D610 in for a check, they were unable to fix it because Nikon limits its repair parts for local businesses. They still were able to suggest what the issue might be and printed out the website for Nikon repairs with an estimate. Also, had a look at my Mamiya RZ67. Would highly recommend. Good honest folks. Hope to have more work for them soon.

I had a camera repaired here years ago. This was back when digital cameras were pretty new in the scene (2000 or so). They were courteous and helpful, though that camera never quite worked the same again. The fall it suffered when I dropped it proved to be too much, but Crystal Camera did their best.

Great experience when I brought my Nikon camera in for repair. They immediately checked it and came back out and said it was fixed and there was no charge. I am sure any other place would have at least charged a service charge.

I was very disappointed in the whole experience with Crystal. I explained over the phone in detail the problem that I had with the GPS and my Nikon D7500 and I wa told “no problem bring it in”. The “technician” looked at it for 10 minutes, while I waited in the waiting area, and I w3as told to leave the camera and GPS with them.I had not heard from them for a week, so I called and I was told they can’t fix a Nikon because they can’t get any parts from Nikon. DUH!! They could have told me that up front and saved me 2 trips of 100 miles each driving round trip from Cashiers!Be real careful what you want them to fix, and make sure it is a camera sold before 1980.

They did a great job on my camera. It will hold up till I can by a new one. There is only do much they can do after I fell on it.

Great service.. Very reasonable prices on labor and parts...I took my camera in for repair... When I picked it up my SD card was missing... Deborah keeps good records when you check a camera in... The SD Card was shown on the repair ticket...they offered to give me credit for the card but I was not concerned about itand said that it wasnt necessary... Two weeks later I get a package in the mail with a SD card enclosed.. Same brand and same size as the missing one.... These are very honest, hard working people at CCC... I will return with any future camera problem.

They are amazing and really good people! I have been in there multiple times where i had an issue and it was a simple fix or reset that only took him a minute to figure out and he has always resolved the issue and told me what to do if it happens again. Also they have never made me pay for him to look at it or tell me how to resolve it next time. I will always go back!!!

I bought a film camera from a thrift store. I brought it in to be calibrated, cleaned and refurbished intending to start using it as my main camera. Very friendly service at the front desk. Technician does not directly speak to customers, I had a lot of questions and that was slightly unweildy, thats my only criticism, but I understand all the reason why a technician doesnt want to deal with the public haha. After the repair I had some questions about battery voltage and my email got a fast reply, and on a holiday weekend, that contained excellent information. After getting my camera back I put a roll through and all my exposures were fantastic. Ill probably be back with another vintage camera so Ill have a spare.

Last Thursday, I dropped my Canon 17—40mm F4 L. USM Lens, and damaged the gold-connectors on the mount. I purchased this lens USED on Amazon, so theres no warranty/insurance available.I typed in Nearest camera repair in Google, and Crystal Camera Repair was the first establishment to come up. I called Thursday afternoon and drove an hour to Asheville and dropped it off.The owners knew exactly what was wrong, and the parts were ordered. I was given a student discount as well as one week expectance date of repair. * I Paid NOTHING UPFRONT.By Monday afternoon, its ready for pickup. I drove to Asheville again, and brought my camera body to test it out in person, and it works exactly like it did prior to the accident.I only paid $45.00 and I could not be happier with the results. Crystal Camera Repair takes their profession seriously and delivered excellent results in a timely and reasonably priced manner.
