Reviews online made it seem like gluten free would be easy enough to figure out here but looking at the menu it wasn’t clear at all. We arrived at 8:50am, there was already a line, so it must be good for non-gluten free folks. We decided to stick it out because we had already waited for 10 mins by the time we got the menu. Once at the counter, we were able to order the avo toast on gluten free bread but the bread was on the sweet side and kind of cake-y. Not ideal for our personal preferences, it also just sucks to feel rushed and not really know what you can eat due to a lack of labeling. We ended up getting smoothies from the place next door after because it just wasn’t a great breakfast for us. The season coffee was good.

We stopped here while visiting Asheville and we loved their breakfast! The wait was long, maybe 15-20 min for food, but totally worth it. I had the breakfast sandwich that was amazeballs, and my wife loved her sourdough pancake. We also had a scone that was great, too. We would visit again!

Long line on a Saturday morning. You order at the front regardless of whether you’re eating in or just grabbing to go. Americano was weak and they charged me 75 ¢ just for a splash of oat milk. Savory tomato ricotta pastry was excellent but the brioche was not a brioche and the berry bun pastry was more of a bread than a flaky pastry. Environment was really cool as they allow veggies and fruits to grow all around their grounds which makes it a lush hidden gem of a place; great for kids!In short:Pastries⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Coffee ⭐️⭐️⭐️Prices ⭐️⭐️⭐️Environment ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🍆🥬🍅😍

Really nice, open outdoor seating. Perfect place for a breakfast/brunch/lunch in Spring. We had a cappuccino, chai latte (which had a nice spice and not unbearably sweet like they often are), muffin and strawberry salad. All were quite good. Worth a stop.

This coffee shop is at a beautiful location. It’s outdoor space is relaxing and beautiful. We ordered Bison burger and a Cobb salad with chicken. Both meals were lacking flavor and sauces. I wish we had some salt or aioli sauce to help it taste better.

Wow. What a cute coffee shop right on the hills of Asheville, minutes from the grove park inn. They have a beautiful outdoor setup and most importantly, their coffee is delicious and all their syrups are house-made. Bonus is that their pancake is literally one of the best I’ve ever had and same with their blueberry muffin. If you’re in Asheville, definitely check it out.

Went out on a whim to this place while visiting the area and I have to say this was the best breakfast I’ve ever had. In addition, the staff are so friendly and really go out of their way during tough times. I have nothing but nice things to say about this place. Can’t wait to visit NC specifically for this place. We got the farmhouse skillet and cream of quinoa. Delicious and very filling ! Also this place is gorgeous, very quaint and peaceful.

A must visit. Away from downtown Asheville sits this friendly neighborhood coffee shop that serves breakfast everyday and brunch on the weekends. They have an amazing outdoor space which is spacious and socially distanced. They offer almond milk and oat milk which is great, but no soy milk. I’ve tried their Cubanito, Matcha latte and Mocha - all great. Gets fairly busy on weekends with a queue out the door but the line moves fast. If you’re in the area, definitely stop by.

I hate to share this neighborhood oasis because I (selfishly) want to keep it for myself and close friends. Picture a garden party on a terraced lawn shaded by huge leafy trees and bordered by a verdant organic garden. Delicious espresso drinks accompanied by a creative array of breakfast and lunch plates. Its a perfect green refuge from the humming urban surroundings. Dont go there, youll just spoil it!

I wasn’t wowed by the coffee, yes the pumpkin spice latte was more authentic and less sweet than star bucks but the pecan was a bit tasteless, with undertones of the actual flavor. The croque madame was quite pleasant, it was aesthetically pleasing and resembled a Ruben sandwich but not sure if worth the steep price. Overall the place is pleasant but not enough to bring me back.

Great coffee, a very flavorful espresso pull, with proper size/proportion for cortados, cappucinos, and lattes. Great food, quality ingredients, well prepared and served with speed, pleasant staff, and clean space. Indoor is a bit small, but they have two outdoor patios. Surrounded by a veggie garden and herb planters all around. Parking is hard, we were lucky to find a spot directly in front of the door when they opened @ 9:00. (p.s. - I rarely give 5 stars, but this place is obviously trying hard at the right things.)

Given the overall rating of these place (4.7 stars) I was expecting more delicious food and a more unique experience. I tried the croque madame brunch item which was okay but it wasn’t mind blowing. It was a little burned which made it harder to eat. I also got a pumpkin spice latte, which was better than the ones you get at Starbucks. The main thing was the limited menu. I was expecting a bigger variety of things in the menu but it was only a few items. The baker items looked good though. The outside patio was nice and cozy. It is still worth trying if it is your first time in Asheville.

They’ll grab figs off of the trees outside to make fig bars or add them to your salad, or grab kale they grew from the garden to sauté into the breakfast skillet, yum!
