Good selection of products but a little pricey.Most of the employees are young kids so ask for the managers if you want a question answered adequately.

This Toys R us was organized and clean. There was multiple knowledgeable personal walking around the store which was very helpful. But the cashier Jammee was truly a breath of fresh air, she was kind, but more importantly cheerful. Jamee was very attentive, and informative to help along the check out process. There should more like her in every retail establishment!

This is by far the best toy store there is and ever will be. It is very sad that they are closing. Staff is always friendly and nearby to help. Prices are good also. If you do find one cheaper, they will pricematch anywhere. I only hope that another store can learn from these guys if they do close. Crossing fingers that a way is found to save them.

Do not work under the current manager unless youre a conservative conformist. Tammy was super excited to rehire me, she was super friendly. Then I wore my pentagram to work. Her attitude suddenly changed from friendly, to inspecting my uniform to search for any tiny dress code violation. She made it a point to tell me to cover the tattoos on my neck. Of which there are NONE! I have very small, faded tattoos behind each ear that no one has ever noticed without me pointing them out, except my hair stylist, and this Nazi. Then someone began harassing, and cyber stalking me, as well as flat out stalking me. Both at home, and at work. It was a former friend I hadnt spoken to in a year, who just started harassing me out of nowhere. Im not sure why. Ive alerted the authorities. When I tried to alert Tammy to ensure Id be safe at work, she told me that I better not bring the drama there, because they cant have that. I was confused, because Id just told her Id done nothing to provoke these people. I told her I couldnt control the crazies. She still didnt care. I told her if my safety wasnt important, then I didnt wanna work there. She said Okay. Good luck. And I hung up as she was saying more. At that point I was angry. I told her I was pressing charges, and getting a restraining order. This woman is judgemental, and obviously does not care about the well being of her employees. DO NOT WORK FOR THIS WOMAN! No matter where it is, if shes the manager, unless youre a dollar sign, she wont give a damn about you. Ill be calling corporate after I drop the kids at school.

One of the workers ( a lady ), went out of her way to help me. She was very sweet about it. Also, the lady at register & the man near the door talking to my husband & I were both pleasant & I appreciate that also.

This store gets a fair rating. Staff are somewhat helpful. Toy selection is good. Some things seem a bit overpriced while other things are not. Store layout is somewhat like walking through a maze, making the shopping experience a little overtaxing--with or without children.

Its no wonder theyre going out of business eventually. Not a huge selection here... altogether it is fair. But the prices are always so high.Hardly ever any good deals.Was hoping to find a birthday present for my son...couldnt get myself to pay what they want.

I was a hassle just to do a layaway, took about an hour. Prior to me starting my layaway I was followed around the store for about 35 minutes it made me feel really weird and uncomfortable! The young lady that rang me up was wonderful and I wish everyone that works in places like that where like her sorry I do not remember her name but theres only one young girl that works there at night.

I havent been here in many years it was nice to run down memory lane. The store was very clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. Tons of stuff on sale as theyre going out of business.

As an former employee, I absolutely loved working there. The management was always uplifting. I truly felt like all my co workers and managers were like a second family!

Closing sale is a lie they marked up prices and put discount signs out. Wont even price match even though they say theyre going out of business. Wonder why

I love their selection, but their prices but so much. And this store needs to be updated like 10 years ago. It just looks so run down.

Have their price match guarantee posted around the store. Found an item cheaper elsewhere and staff claimed they cant do price match because theyre going out of business. Theres no wonder why. Seems as if they gouged their prices and noticed most things are only 10% off.

Not bad but never have many people working. People are very nice though.

It was a great place to take your kids or grandkids and let them wander the store looking at all of the toys. But alas, all the brick and mortar stores are closing. Its sad.

What is the deal with their phone service? I called and got disconnected three times, then when I finally got a live person (10 minutes on hold) the auto-attendant system cut us off. Hey management - if youre reading these comments, teach your team how to answer the phone! I then called Dancing Bear Toys on Tunnel rd and - amazing - someone answered the phone immediately! Support the local toy stores in Asheville - DO NOT GO HERE

Poorly ran:Trashcan at front door was overflowing with garbage falling out onto the sidewalk.A large metal bar on the power wheels display fell off when my daughter stepped on it (couldve really hurt her) and when I complained, the employee just told me that its been unsecured for a long time and she just needed to step over it rather than on it.

Going out of business. Minimal staff when I was there. Mediocre sales. Felt more like a warehouse than a toy store. The toys r us near me is much better.

LOUD music. Cant hardly talk to my kids because of it. Prices are higher than other stores. Register price often rings up more expensive than the shelf sticker. No employees in site without walking to a register. Also, approx 60-65 degrees inside the store. Wearing a winter coat and freezing.

The customer service in this store was awful. The manager was rude to me, when I asked for a price. Mind you none of the pricing kiosks were working. I asked an employee for assistance finding a toy and they just pointed and said down there by the chubby dog display, as if I knew what that was. The young man who was our cashier was too busy talking to a friend to speak to me or my son. Too bad this is the only toys R us near us.

Fun to let my boys explore all the latest toys and the customer service was ok but the place is a bit run down.

Great prices but they are closing doors for good.

The hatchimals are 50-60 dollars and i got charged $85 for this toy. I am about to take it back because I was told they would price match with target and the lady told me that target just sold out so they no longer can do that. But yet they think it is okay to over charge. Toys r us should be ashamed of themselves. I will take my money and spend some place else.

Said going out of business sale everything was marked down but you can buy the Carters outfits across the road at Carters cheaper and the toys are cheaper at Walmart. I gave 3 stars cause the store was clean. Just way over priced.
