I experienced nothing but professionalism from the staff. They were knowledgeable about the products and were very quickly able to identify a good match to meet my current computer needs. I was treated with patience and there was no high pressure exerted to make the sale. I was encouraged to think about my purchase, price products with other vendors here locally and on line. I did so and returned the next day and purchased an upgraded system from what we had discussed previously. It was a very good experience with the transaction. All the merchandise was in stock.
Had an appointment here today and as soon as I walked in I was barked at by an employee who yelled out to wear a mask. I said ok, I don’t have one, do you have some that you give. He said, go buy one from CVS. For that reason, you will never get my money. I hope the employee gets fired. He wasted my time and the policy is a complete joke.
Absolutely the worst store, will never go back here. They discriminate and the guy behind the counter is the most unprofessional, rude and insecure. Good luck calling them, they don’t answer and they could care less about anything customer service and decency
So grateful for the team at Simply Mac. Everyone I came into contact with was respectful, knowledgeable, and friendly. They listened to feedback about my computer and offered me options after a thorough diagnostic. They consulted with me as needed, and the estimate after the diagnostic was what I paid when I picked up the computer. So glad they are so close by. Great team to work with!
Excellent service. I have been there 2 times to have my MacBook Pro fixed. They are very knowledgable on MacBook Pro. I will always do business with them.
Walked in and didn’t have a mask. Was informed I had to have one, so I asked if they had one. Was rudely informed no. Even though it’s not mandated. So I went and spent 2000 on a computer at Best Buy. Won’t ever be back either. Learn to be polite or go out of business.
I had an appointment about an issue with my 6-year-old MAC. Lea and Jay worked on it together and were clearly concerned that they couldnt find the cause. They finally came up with a suggestion which turned out to be the perfect solution. I appreciated the attention they gave me and look forward to working with them again....and purchasing my next computer from them.
Crooks! Said they could have something repaired under warranty knowing they couldn’t. They just wanted their diagnostic fee of $80 and for me to pay full price for the repair. They knew what I was wanting from the beginning at the least they could’ve refunded my $80 knowing they didn’t do any work.
This place mistreats their employees AND customers. A two in one deal! Go to the actual Apple store in GVL. I know it sounds like a drive, but believe me, you’ll save money in the short and long term. The quiet markup they charge for repairs outweighs much of the time the cost of gas from AVL to GVL.
I would love to thank the staff at simply Mac asheville. They are professional, trustworthy, kind and super helpful. They helped me put my screen replacement under warranty when no one thought it could be.The screen could cost me over 1000, but with their help, i got a brand new computer for free.Cant say thank you enough. And i highly highly recommend this store!
I had problems with my MacBook Pro within two weeks of its arrival from Apple. The Apple Tech Support personnel made an appointment for me at Simply Mac Asheville. Took it to them, they kept me informed as they dug into the computer and found multiple major issues. Called when the repairs were completed. Everything covered by warranty. Computer finally works as it is supposed to.
Went into the SimplyMac Biltmore Park- Asheville location to purchase multiple Mac books for my business. As soon as I stepped foot in the door the employee (dark hair gentleman with glasses) started SCREAMING at the top of his lungs that I had to put a mask on immediately. He was currently with a customer and found it more important to rudely interrupt her to scream & yell at me (I was at least 20 ft away) Clearly I did not have a mask since the mask mandate has been lifted in NC (this is the first store that has asked me to wear one) so I decided to ask him for one. He responded it wasn’t his job to provide a mask and if I took another step into the store he would call security. Then- he proceeded to belittle me and asked if i could not read bc it was posted on the front door that masks were required. At this point I could not believe that SimplyMac would ever hire such unprofessional & rude employees. I have spent quite a bit of money at SimplyMac in the past since I live right above it in Biltmore Park- I will never ever go back nor will I ever refer it to another client of mine. I hope that management takes this very serious bc I’m positive I’m not the only woman customer that has been ambushed like this. I’m not sure if the employees rage towards me was bc I looked like an easy target since I’m a woman with 2 small children or my skin color but either way- I would NOT recommend buying another product from Simply Mac unless you want to be treated like trash.Whatever happened to asking politely or being kind to customers?? Especially ones that help fund your store and keep you in business!
I was advised to use an Apple affiliate to get my iPhone Xs battery replaced so that it doesnt loose its waterproofing, etc. I was directed to use Simply Mac by the Apple website and I had a great experience! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable when I asked my questions. They also got my phone battery replaced in just a few hours. Overall, it was a great experience.
Working with Lea and the Asheville Simply Mac team was fabulous. I am so grateful to Lea for helping me with an otherwise perplexing and worrisome Mac issue I was completely helpless with alone.
Leah and the folks at Simply Mac were fabulous. I needed to replace my iPad, and with COVID, I was concerned, especially since I have a rare form of cancer. Leah helped me make my purchase, even while standing more than 6 feet away. When I called with a follow-up question about my AppleCare plan, she handled it quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend.
Great experience at this location! Justin was really nice and helped solve my laptop problem without pushing any unnecessary products like some tech stores can do. He spent plenty of time helping me in person, I left my laptop with them on a Saturday and it was fixed by Monday. I definitely recommend these guys for your Apple needs!
Thank you so much for your help today!!!!
They fixed my MacBook Pro faster than they quoted, and it does work. However, when I got it back it was DIRTY... like sticky. I wiped it as soon as I got it to the car, and that’s when I noticed the aluminum case was severely scratched. I cleaned it thoroughly before I dropped it off out of respect. (Ya know, COVID.) And I have anxiety and OCD, so I know it wasn’t scratched when I brought it in. I am heartbroken. It’s like taking your car in to get the handle fixed and getting it back keyed down the side. I will not go back.
I was helped as soon as I came in even without an appointment. The service was great and the manager took the time to explain some things to me.
I made an appointment with them online to replace my iPhone battery today. I drove 75 miles from Morganton to get it replaced. They didn’t have the battery or any suggestions as to where to get one. Call first or you’ll get “I’m sorry”, instead of what you went for. I gave Apple service a call also. This is just unacceptable, Steve Jobs must be spinning like a top in his grave.
Went in for a battery change, they ended up having issues and kept my phone for 5 days. when i got it back, the home button & touch id were disabled and they couldnt fix it. now i have to get a whole new phone. really bad experience
They left my phone worse off than it was originally, and now the screen is hanging off. An incompetent store that wasted my Saturday. Told me they could repair my phone. Made me wait around for two hours. Then I came back to pick it up and found out they couldn’t fix my phone after all. Also their phone doesn’t even work so communicating with staff was difficult and frustrating. Don’t go here.
Just deal with Apple directly, they treat you way better! The lady at the front desk was nice, the repair techs just wanna make money.
The folks there were great and super helpful. They fixed my problem in about 20 mins and I was on my way.
Aaron and the staff were super friendly, helpful and repaired my laptop in record time. I cant thank them enough!!
My partners phone had a glitch which they said they said was under warrantee and could repair. After a long wait they came back, the phone was broken worse than when handed too them (visibly torn open) and they said it actually wasnt under warrantee because of something they found while breaking it. Terrible experience.
All bad
