Well displayed gems and minerals. Lots of decor pieces. The seasoned collectors might have trouble finding anything thats especially rare or unique but for the entry to mid level collector, this place is great

Amazing staff team and super nice crystals

The gemstones, jewelry and minerals they have are beautiful and amazing quality. Their prices used to be very reasonable but over the last year they have increased significantly - Id guess about 30%. The person who is the manager/owner is often negative which is hard to believe based on the good energy from the gems. One example is from this past week. On a shelf they have a nice selection of blue fluorite, labeled as such. I brought one to the counter to pay and I complimented her on that selection. She told me its Not blue Its the tone, and this happens every time Ive been there. I always just ignored it because of the selection and price but with the price increases Im not going there anymore. Very bummed about it :( ADDITION - after reading the response I figured out how to term the tone - condescending.

I bought my boyfriend a friendship ring here and it was beautiful. The price was great and people very helpful and friendly.

Great stones and items. I normally walk out every visit spending a few hundred $$$ ... today was different. I WAS wearing my mask, like a good boy, up over the point of my nose... older lady walked up to me asking me to put my mask over my nose...umm, it was. It was uncalled for! I told her that Asheville needs to relax on the mask police a bit, she responded I cant hear you... my response was that you probably dont want to hear what I really have to say .... you lost a customer because of you snippy response... and you get a google review. Kind of sad because they do have great product that Ive really enjoyed. I also had 6 friends in my group that all saw the incident and are not impressed.

Honestly one of the best rock shops east of the Mississippi, and definitely the most comprehensive in Asheville. The lowest prices Ive ever seen for minerals, the best selection, and all the staff is geology informed and knowledgeable without being pushy. 10/10 not shopping anywhere else if its something I can find here first.

Wonderful place! We walked in to see if they maybe bought a small gem collection. The lady that helped us sat with me for at least half and hour sorting through everything I had and explained what they were and even separated them into individual bags with tags. We stopped in on a Monday so the store was fairly busy at the time And she still took her time with us. Very friendly and knowledgeable, I didnt catch her name but this is definitely a place i will return to.

This is a really beautiful shop. It is in an exceptionally beautiful building. They carry just about everything youd expect from a rock shop including some unique specimens of precious and semi-precious gem. The four star rating is simply because it didnt stand apart from all the other beautiful rock shops. I was kinda hoping to see more local pieces, maybe Asheville rubies.

They have great customer service but they are over priced with a lot of their stuff. I understand That some stones are rare but even the things that aren’t were. Been to many different stores in many different states. It was a nice shop to vist

While shopping in here with my sister, I was surprised by how snobby and rude the employees were. Not just to us but other customers as well. The older lady behind the counter started snapping at anyone who touched anything (even when everyone sanitized their hands before entering). When asking them if they carried a certain item she replied super rude and with an attitude. My sister bought an item and when she went to check out the lady rudely said “you know this isn’t on sale right?” I don’t know if she was insinuating something or what. My sister said she didn’t care if it was on sale or not. I was just blown away at how snobby they all were. Like you’re selling overpriced rocks...chill out.

Great stop. Knowledgeable staff was great explaining some of the features of different minerals to my kids. They each picked out a small stone to buy and were given the option to pick out a small crystal for free too. Ladies also offered me a large bag despite only buying very small items to help me carry other items I was hauling around. Very thoughtful.

Items are ridiculously over priced and the woman working was very pushy and rude. Definitely lost a potential good sale with me.

Cool little shop with a friendly dude inside who makes these little guitar like instruments that seem to always play in key with each other as long as they are tuned. The instruments range from 185 to about 400 if I remember correctly. Worth checking out if you enjoy playing music or are looking for something unique and well crafted.

Awesome stone shop. If you love stone jewelry or are a rock hound, this is the store and it has a big variety in both stones and pricing. You can buy a four foot geode for a couple grand or pick through shelves of stones price from a dollar or less. Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. Great place and their Grove Arcade location is wonderful as well, rich in history and one of Ashevilles most beautiful pieces of architecture.

Best rock shop I’ve ever been to. They have such a huge selection. Things under $10 to real collector items. The wonderful woman who normally works the counter is so knowledgeable and willing to answer questions. She is always so much fun to talk to. I highly recommend checking it out.

Favorite place to get crystals in Asheville! We consistently refer clients to this place to get his or her own crystals. There is a large variety of stones in this shop at reasonable prices. Many of them found at the Tuscon Gem show! Right when you walk in, you will be amazed by the selection and Energy in this store! The staff really have a love and knowledge for stones and are happy to help you find just what you need! Nice jewelry displays too. Many rare finds are located here which is extra special. They also host events every month around the healing arts. This little gem is hidden right in the heart of the grove arcade

Cool store and I like it. But there seems to be about a 50% stupid tourist markup on all items. Id stop in and look around if youre into rocks. But as a rock collector I passed up on opening my wallet.In response to the owners: No, don’t believe I was at a different rock store in Grove Arcade. I found your insinuation that I was mistaken as offensive as your prices.For example, your ocean jasper is about 75% over priced. This is based on where I can buy same pieces myself as a direct buyer.I won’t be back but I appreciate your keen awareness of internet feedback. Take care.

Ive visited the store after the tragic suicide of a friend. I was looking for stones to console the grieving family. Not only did they help me find the right stone but Stacey made a pet rock out of it and donated both her time and the stone. It was a beautiful experience and I felt really cared for. They really love the stones and the community. So grateful to have them in our town.

Some very good food there everything that we bought tasted really nice but its a little pricey I probably head over to Ingles cross the street and save some money cuz you going to get good quality meat there and a lot of good products as well you just have to read the labels

To me, Enter the Earth is the gem and crystal shoppe in Asheville. Ive been about 6 times now and have always been impressed by the knowledgeable and friendly staff. They beautifully display their collection and can answer any questions you may have. You can tell that each piece in the different displays has been placed their thoughtfully. They also have baskets of tumbled stones of various sizes. I purchased a Himalayan salt lamp for an incredible price and the staff went out of their way to make sure the product was packaged carefully and that I had the proper cord and lightbulbs.Not all of their products are inexpensive, but Id rather get a few quality, meaningful pieces than load up on lower quality stones.At a previous visit I accidentally bumped into a display and broke a crystal. I paid for it but the staff was incredibly understanding of my mistake (and I hold my purse more carefully in there now). :-)

Do not take your children to this shop. The woman working behind the counter does not like children and thinks all are badly behaved. My 11 year old accidentally dropped a small rock angel. While I was paying for the $8.00 angel she said my daughter was not well behaved. She had only picked up one item and accidents do happen. At no point did my daughter leave my side, run around or even raise her voice while in the store. For someone to say she was not well behaved made my blood boil.
