We had an amazing experience here! Beautiful garden with tons of great plants for sale.The staff was exceptional! When I mentioned my purchase was a gift, she packaged it up with lovely tissues and a bow.I look forward to shopping here again!!

A gem within a gem. This is THE place to go to if you want to find something unique and funky. The place has something of interest for most, including impatient old men. Staff is amazing, the are personable, knowledgeable and excited about helping those that need plant help. This is a must visit place. Make certain you follow stone steps down in back, a relaxing plant filled area awaits you.

I had a peculiar experience at this shop. I came there today to ask about peonies and the lady answered my question, bobbed hair and glasses, however her demeanor seemed very off put. She answered my question but seemed like she was uncomfortable. I live about a mile from this shop and always pass it so decided while in I would look at the flowers so I was in. While browsing I was asked if I needed help by a very polite and helpful lady with long dark hair. She was very nice and helpful. I went back to the area where my car was and noticed more flowers in the front of the shop and was looking at those. I then got in my car and the First Lady came oddly out of the shop and again in a very odd demeanor glared at me. She didn’t smile didn’t wave, just kind of glared again with the same off put demeanor and watched me the whole time I put my key in the ignition took off my mask and backed out of the space. When I got home I looked through reviews to see if anyone else had a similar experience and it doesn’t seem so. I was just very disappointed as the shop is lovely and so are the flowers. I really feel like I was not welcome either because I was either 1. A male unaccompanied by a female at a flower shop. Or 2. I was wearing a T-shirt and shorts which I feel is perfectly appropriate for someone WORKING IN THE YARD. It’s a shame this day in age those type of things are still happening. If you don’t want to sell things to all genders of people maybe don’t have a public retail business.

Outstanding service! I am a gardening novice, and Laura and Sarah were so generous with their knowledge and time! Laura helped me to select the right plants for my porch-rail boxes and my walkway, and she suggested how to arrange them for best effect. She took into account what sun exposure they would receive, how large the boxes are; she also explained how to plant them and exactly when to refresh these spring plantings with summer flowers. Sarah then explained which potting soil and fertilizer would be best and even put everything in my car for me. I could not have asked for more attentive, knowledgeable guidance and assistance, and I will be back soon for their help with my deck plantings!

This is not your typical garden shop. There is always something unique here.

I went looking for the perfect succulents and containers to compete this area of my house. I received excellent care and attention. Though the store itself was not open to the public due to COVID19, the woman who assisted me brought out several options for me to choose from based on my descriptions. She got to know my taste and helped me totally nail the look I was going for. Ill definitely be back!

Beautiful plant, flower nursery, and gift shop. Locally and family owned. I met Laura and she was extremely knowledgeable about all of the plants. She gave me some very good suggestions. I am enchanted with this place. I cant tell you how many times Ive driven by on my way to and from the cat care clinic, but never could stop until today.

Love this garden center and nursery 💗 I often use their garden for inspiration for my own planning. In the back you walk over a wooden bridge that allows you to cross the very vocal creek, and from there you are in a magical garden. The greenhouse is next to the garden with lots of beautiful local and rare plants. Inside they have fairy garden supplies along with gardening pots and other items. I love their selection of beautiful potters.Everyone is super nice and knowledgeable. I once brought in a baby cactus clipping and the nice woman at the register potted it for me and taught me how to properly care for it. She always offers great tips at checkout no matter what I buy.I love the personalized attention that’s offered here that I haven’t found at other garden shops. Everyone loves what they do and it shows this is a path for them and not just a job 😊

Spent over $200 on plants at this place and one of my plants started dying just a few days after I purchased it. I went online and researched everything I could about what I could do to save it and tried everything, but it still died. I called Thyme to see if I could bring it back to them, since it literally only lived a couple of days after I purchased it and they said no returns. Ive shopped there several times before this and would have continued to shop there, but thats just such bad customer service, they just lost me as a customer unfortunately. Who wants to buy a plant and have it die a few days later. I didnt even own it long enough to kill it.

Very nice shop and gardens. Lots of distinct plants and garden accents. Shop is not good for those with strong scent sensitivities. VERY scented with something heavily perfumed. I couldnt remain. Otherwise, I recommend it if you are looking for sweet fairy garden supplies.

Hands down my favorite plant store in Asheville. I was lucky enough to live nearby and frequent the store regularly. They carry a variety of both unique and familiar plants and have a great atmosphere, helpful staff, and a nice selection of cute gifts/odds and ends.

So helpful!! Peaceful, tranquil and soothing environment. Eclectic collection. Could have spent an eternity in there. Will have them decorate my secret space one day soon in a cozy nook and cranny.
