We got a 8 splash guard for our shower and were very satisfied with the professionalism shown in both the initial visit for measurements and the installation by Darrell and Juan. We are pleased to support this local business which had much better customer service than we have found at the big box stores.

We’ve had 2 glass shower/tub doors installed by Britt and Tilson over the past 3 months. Today the first one installed got stuck.Basically the hinges got out of alignment and the door jammed against the tiles unable to open or close. I called over at about noon and got Jeff to help. He was able to send a repair crew over by 3:15 on the Friday before the 4th of July weekend!The guys arrived, put on protective booties and fixed the door in about 5 minutes!Fantastic, friendly service!Also the original installations were done well, they worked with us to find creative yet affordable solutions to our rather unique tub situation and showed up on schedule.I’d highly recommend!

B&T Glass came far out of town to measure and install 2 shower doors, one slider one swing door. Very frendly, good communucation, and the quality of the doors and install is outstanding. Billy explained all of the options in the showroom and we made our choice. The soft close slider is great.. I would highly recommend.

Stopped by here for the very first time about a week ago, to get a window pane repaired that fell out of the window sill. The ladys there were very friendly and said it would take up to two weeks to replace the glass. Long story short it was ready just three days later, and now the windows as good as new. Thanks Britt and Tilson for the prompt emergency repair. I would definitely recommend these guys as they have been at it for a long time.

Mike and Blake were wonderful!! They came twice (b/c we had a hiccup with the first door measurements) and they made sure it was perfect! The two sections of glass / shower doors are gorgeous and installed perfectly. We are really excited about how it turned out. I would use Britt and Tilson again.

The pricing has been moderately low and competitive, and the Installer Mike Wyatt has done an amazing job, along with Ross Myers and Matt Burns, who measures and quote the jobs. You cant go wrong by hiring this company for any of your Glass needs!!
At Musicians Workshop we needed sneeze shields for our computers ASAP so we could open back up from Covid-19. Ronnie helped us with the design and fabricated them. A day latyer they delivered to our door. The shields fit perfectly without additional fabrication. We could not be more pleased. Excellent service. Thanks
Excellent process from estimate to conclusion. Mr Britt did the estimate and measurements. Mike & Mike, the install team, came out in quick order to professionally install our custom window with Obscure glass. All broken glass was removed, no mess whatsoever remained, when they waved bye. My sister was in a serious bind. She is opening up a pie shop and has a display case prominently featured in the store. She ordered glass to be custom fit into the top, and had a lot of problems with the man who delivered the glass. Long story short, first he broke it, then he replaced it, but when he delivered the glass, it didnt fit. It was about 1/8 too wide and didnt fit into the display. The mover disappeared and disconnected his phone so we couldnt get satisfaction from him. Thats when I called Britt and Tilson. They helped to educate me about tempered vs non-tempered glass and helped me explore options. When I arrived there, Jeff helped me with the delicate cut to ensure that the glass didnt shatter. I explained my situation to the friendly, helpful woman who worked up front, one of the owners, Billy, overheard the conversation, and compassionately offered to take care of me. It was very generous, and because they were able to solve our problem, the shop will open on time!I am very grateful to Billy and his team. We will use them from now on!
B&T have been our go to for mirror and glass for many years. Everything from recutting mirror to custom shower doors, the product is always perfect and completed in a timely fashion. Friendly group of folks, especially on tie dye Friday. B&T help with both our design business,a retail personal projects.

Matt measured our shower for a replacement glass door unit, and in doing so, he helped us decide the appropriate style for our space-if I had gone with the door recommended by another provider, it would have caused water to leak out onto the bathroom floor! It took a couple weeks to create this specific size, which we knew would be the case, and the two men who installed it were polite and professional. I would not hesitate to use Britt & Tilson again.
I ordered a large sheet of glass and a glass door to be installed on a shower enclosure I was building. They came by to assess and offer advice. The glass came on time and installation went off without a hitch. This was back in about 2006. It still looks great today, in 2018.
Installed a shower enclosure. One of two companies in the area that use Guardian easy clean Glass. Matt came out to take measurements and give me prices and options. They did a great job and sealed it well. They were on time. I would use them again and recommend them and I have!
For a bathroom remodel, our contractor selected B&T for the shower wall and door glass. It took a week longer for the glass to be on-site than originally quoted by B&T, then during the installation it was discovered that the glass was not cut to the right size. It took almost another 2 weeks for this to be corrected. This held up the use of our new bathroom for weeks after the construction was complete. In the meantime, B&T did not communicate any of this to our contractor. We notified him of the delays ourselves. When asked by the contractor if there would be any type of compensation to us, B&Ts answer was a flat no. After the install, they did not clean the area at all. There was tile dust, and shavings, etc. from the drilling, all over the counters, floors, and fixtures, as well as a greasy, streaky mess of prints and smudges on the glass. They appeared to take no pride in their work, and did not clean up to present the best product to their customer. Unacceptable! As multi-business owners, we would NEVER leave a job or appointment with such a bad impression for our customer. We clean up our messes and leave the area better than when we got there. If a customer is dissatisfied in any way, we make every effort to compensate them and keep them happy so we are assured of a great A+, 5-star rating from them. We have yet to use the shower, as it was just finished yesterday, and we have to allow it to set-up. Were hoping its all sealed properly, and that there will be no issues with the glass. Unfortunately, we are not comfortable recommending B&T to our friends and business associates, and will certainly not use them in the future.

Britt & Tilson just installed the fourth shower door / shower wall in our home which also serves as a Bed & Breakfast Inn. That fact alone should be telling enough. All jobs were custom jobs in a 100-year-old house with not a single perfectly vertical wall and owners that have precise ideas of bathroom design. We were happy with all aspects of their work: Professional approach and conduct, precise and accurate measurements and job preparation, absolutely appropriate consultation on which brand, material and style to select, reliable timing estimates, and finally rock-solid installation by apparently well-trained professionals who left their workplace clean and tidy. Britt & Tilson may not be the cheapest bidder, but were not in the business for cheap. I want quality that lasts and good workmanship; both have their value, and in that respect B&T delivers and is reasonable in every way. For our next glass project we will not call anybody else but Britt & Tilson.

This place has really helped up furnish our massage studios. We needed glass to put in a display case and they cut them just perfectly for us! When we needed plexi glass for our windows to damper street noise, they custom made us sheets at a great price. If we ever need help with glass or windows again, we will definitely call this trustworthy company!
Over the years, weve used them for a bunch of things (mirrors, frameless shower doors, glass door inset replacement, etc.). In my experience, glass is an area where a lot of companies get things wrong. But Britt & Tilson has always been a pleasure to deal with: everything done on time and with high quality and a fair price. The one time a supplier messed up, they went out of their way to make the situation easy for us. I recommend them without hesitation.
I called to ask if they would replace a broken window in my kitchen. The lady on the phone told me I would have to remove the some word Ive never heard before and still couldnt understand when I asked her to repeat it which I guess is the frame. Its a small sliding glass window. She talked to me like I was stupid and basically told me good luck. I was offered zero assistance. I called Glass Doctor of Western North Carolina.

We hired Britt and Tilson to do glass doors on 2 showers for a large remodel job for a customer in Asheville. While Britt and Tilson showed up at their appointed times, they arrived once with the wrong door and had to reschedule. Fine. Accidents happen. The doors were finally installed and look great, except for all the smears and fingerprints left behind by the installers. We called and asked to have the doors cleaned before making our final payment and were told, We dont do that.The website site talks about customer service. I think it is poor service and a bad policy to leave items unfinished so that we have to pay somebody else to do what the installers should be required to do in the first place. Not finishing a job and leaving things clean and clear says a lot about a company.What could have been a five star review is now a three star review!
I am an interior designer, and have used Britt and Tilson for many of my projects. They are professional and good to communicate with.
Unless you have forever to wait on your glass I would not recommend this place. I paid for a special order that was supposed to take 3 to 4 days. After almost two weeks and multiple calls by me they finally finished my order not once calling me back to give me updates on the problems. I never received one apology only excuses for the delay even from the owner when I asked to speak to him. If you do order from this place do not pay for it until you receive the item.
Came out to bid project, but never heard back. Called B&T to find out status, but no one returned my call. Congrats on having so much business. Customer service sucks.
