Extremely rude people ignored my wife completely when we went and talked to them and talked to us like we was just another customer don’t go here go up the road to Clayton you’ll get a better deal they will explain everything and show you numbers from people they use not create numbers because they don’t wanna deal with you but you’ll get better idea of what your paying for plus they will bend over backwards for you these people wouldn’t bend over there desk for you they will tell you that you don’t matter to them

Unbelievable the way we were treated! My daughter was three months pregnant when we went to Oakwood for our new home. They said they ordered our new home and we waited and waited. We were promised month after month that we would be in our new home soon. Then as we called for updates nobody would return our calls. We were desperate to be in our new home by my daughters due date. She was due in December. We were continually lied to and put off. Spoke with the manager he said they lost our order, then it was Hurricane Matthew fault. My daughter had the baby last November. We are still living out of boxes and frustrated to no end. It has been over a year, they said our house is here and has been here. However, they are still dragging their feet. I called yesterday and was told the new manager isnt going to sell us our house because they didnt want a bad review and they werent making any money. Well Jamie, here is your bad review! It has been over a year! My granddaughter will be 4 months old the 11th of this month and we still dont have a nursery! The baby was a month early and we have been through hell with these people! Dont buy from this dealership! They lie and are not dependable!

This place put in a home above my house. In the 3 month process of grading out they left it muddy and it caused half of the road to be washed out. Over the past 10 years I have spent thousands of dollars of my own money to upkeep this road. I called the manager David Tetzlaff and explained to him the situation. At first he said it was a paved road and I told I assured him it was not. He said that when the weather cleared up he would take care of it and get some gravel out to correct the mistake. 3 weeks later I called multiple times and left multiple messages that he did not return. After finally having to stop in to get this cell phone number he answered his phone and said it was not his responsibility, that it could been one of the contractors. The road was fine before his company put a house in and considering he hired the contractors I would believe it is his responsibility. All I asked was that he fixed what his company messed up which is to put 1 load of gravel on half of the road. He promised, then he lied and said he was not going to do anything about it. If there was a definition for bad business its when you promise someone your going to do something and then not follow up on it.

Im pleased with their service so far. I will update this after my mom gets her place and finds a good park to live in and gets moved in.

I bought a home 7 years ago from John Blankenship and was very happy with the way everything went. I still love my home and it still looks new. I am just now starting to replace light bulbs that came in the home. I never knew a light bulb could last so long. I get a breakdown from Duke energy periodically letting me know I have a very energy efficient home. My daughter and son in law are in the process of buying a home from John as well. They are very excited. Since I bought a home and referred someone that is buying a home Oakwood will give me a $500 gift card. Go see Jamie, John, Ashley or Tucker at Oakwood Homes of Asheville. Tell them Sharon sent you : )

They will rip you off and try to scam you. Dont trust them

I bought a house and my roof leaked three times in one year.Yes, my wife called you today and one guy came in, repaired the roof, but in the evening she started to flow again because it was raining heavily.

Still very vague about costs above site prep. Realize every site is different, but just some ballpark estimates would have been nice.

I saw the chaos that was in this store in months and years past. Jamie has turned this place around in just the last couple of months. Definitely would recommend to friends and family.

Really nice houses for being a mobile home but the prices are high for being where I come from which is Florida must be all the insulation
