One of the staff members, I believe his name is Clayton, was very rude when I came in with a small group of people to order drinks. He continuously complained while making drinks because he had to do his job. There was another instance where he was rude to a friend of mine when she was also ordering a drink. Worst experience 0/5 rating. I dont think I will come back to this establishment.

The absolute worst! Today they had displays out of a drink I’d been waiting for. When I go to order it the barista said the drink wasn’t actually available until the next day that they just put the displays out early. Okay, that makes no sense. She then informs me that their frappuccino machine was down. The frappuccino machine is ALWAYS down. Somethings always broken. Water leaks from the ceiling, and causes them to be closed super early. There’s just always something wrong!! I’ll go to the Starbucks up town from now on..

Starbucks is at the top of my list with drinks...Ive been calling before I make the trip, to see if theyre open or not...theyve been short on staff and that makes it challenging to operate on their normal business hours.

What can I say? Starbucks delivers uniform excellence in their market niche the same way McDonalds delivers absolutely consistent mediocrity world wide. I like excitement but I go back for reliable. This Starbucks upholds the standard.

I love the Kroger Starbucks. The employees here are super nice, and my drinks are always on point!

Quick and the baristas are very friendly

Sometimes a bit of a wait when theyre busy but the staff is always friendly. Dont forget they can also ring up your store purchases if you have a few things.

Too expensive for regular coffee. Coffee is average. Seems to just be paying more for the brand. Staff is always friendly though.

Apparently they open and close when ever they feel like it. Stood in line with three people waiting behind me to only get told they were closed when it was my turn to order. The website states they are open till 8 and it was 5:25. This is one of the many reasons I don’t patronize Starbucks.

Unusual location inside a Kroger grocery store. Great service and displays of their coffee products! I got a pistachio frappacinno. It was DELICIOUS 😋!!

Just went through with my roommate and got absolutely horrible service. Waited 15 minutes for an order, watched someone with a way more complicated order get his drinks before We did, when we had been there for ten minutes ordering a less complicated version of the same drink. Then after we had watched six customers get their beverages before we got ours, we asked the employee and she rudely responded they were working on it, asked the girl next to us what she ordered because they had forgotten, and proceeded to give us a drink a size smaller than we paid for. Horrible experience all around.

I always love Starbucks. Even if my drink isnt quite right they make it again without question.. Which has only happened once over the years and with a newbie. The only thing to make it better would be mobile order.

Amazing staff

My recommendation has nothing to do with the coffee, but rather the staff. I bought two items that were supposed to be 30% off....I did not get the proper discount and the staff was helplessly lost to figure out the math. They werent even apologetic or acted like they even cared. In the end, due to the line, I just paid the higher rate. But seriously???

I liked more when was smaller. Place takes up too much space in Kroger for no reason...

Love starbucks and the drinks are always great, but this is the SLOWEST starbucks Ive ever been to. With only 3 people in line it shouldnt take 20 minutes to get a plain black coffee.

First off, this is establishment is in a Kroger and is run by the Kroger employees. I frequent this stand almost every time I visit Kroger and they run as well as any other Starbucks I have come across. It is a nice addition to the grocery shopping experience and I would recommend grabbing a specialty drink from this stand as you do you weekly grocery shopping.

Nice suggestion for alternative to my usual drink. They were our of several items. And it appeared to be shift change so they were a little distracted.

Only Starbucks in Athens. Usually quick at making the drinks even though theyre always busy. Im subtracting one star because they never have any of the specialty drinks. The staff is mostly always polite If your order is simple.

1 star because every time I go to the Starbucks in Kroger what I order and what I actually get aren’t the same. When I ask for the drink I want I get looked at like I have 2 heads, as if the barista has no idea what to do. Today I ordered something off the menu, figured that was easy enough. Apparently it wasn’t, I got the same confused look. I asked for a pink drink(which is suppose to have coconut milk in it. It flat out says that on the menu next to the drink) and the girl made what I’m guessing was a Strawberry Refresher? Best part is the girl even got the coconut milk out of the cooler and sat it on the counter, she just didn’t add it to the drink. I understand mistakes happen, but every time? It’s getting a little ridiculous. I always just take the drink because I’d feel bad to say something because there’s normally only one person working and they’re always busy. But at the same time, these drinks aren’t exactly cheap and it’s annoying to always get the wrong order. Don’t know what the issue is. Either they don’t know how to make the drinks, or they just don’t care. Regardless, it needs to be addressed and corrected.

They are generally okay, but often understaffed because Kroger won’t train or hire more workers. My biggest complaint though is despite the dozen or so cold brew ads they have, I’ve never been able to order cold brew here. Always “out right now” or “we don’t have cold brew”

This Starbucks is absolutely awful. I ordered one of the featured items, an iced cinnamon almond milk macchiato, and even checked with the barista in advance to ensure she knew how to make it. The barista used 2% milk and no cinnamon dolce syrup. Very disappointing service. I do not recommend.

Very slow service. And employee was not up to typical Sbux standards of politeness and friendliness.

Friendly baristas but I hate ordering the same thing on different days and getting two different prices. Frustrating.

These Gals were sooooooo sloooooowww, they moved like sloths walking in a pool of molasses. And there were 5, FIVE of them slothing around back there!!!!!! Stood there for 20 minutes, only one guy in front of us getting drip coffee and lady got iced coffee and a water.

The State street starbucks has amazing coffee, i order italian roast and txt for hours in the welcoming and peaceful atmosphere of starbucks and love it.thanks starbucks 👍

Love their chai Latte making.I like the girl and boy who usually work there very friendly and seem to care the product they are selling! I hoped that the Starbucks we have OU baker center will emulate this kind of professionalism.
