I think the set up of the store could have a better layout, some of the aisles are too narrow. They also seem to always be short staffed, theres usually 1 person open, and a huge line to check out.There are positives also. Obviously your prices are very good, and I usually walk out with way more than I ran out to get!! I give OSJL 👍🏻👍🏻

OSJL has almost everything I need at the right prices. I try not to go unless I need an item because I end up wandering, sometimes for an hour or two, looking at everything. To me, OSJL and DIY stores are my fun shopping experiences.

I often go to their stores looking bargains and other things. I have one close to me. But it doesnt always have the qualities that the larger stores have. So I go to the bigger store when I am out doing other errands

Crazy fun place with astounding array of marked-down stuff. Dont take a shopping list, just go and down the aisles scanning for stuff you need. If you find something you want, buy lots of it since there wont be any next week.

Best Ocean State Job Lot ever. We found it by accident and can never not stop at one. We found things weve been looking for at the 3 we usually go to here. And they had plenty of oatmeal cups and the gluten free crackers and cookies my friend needs. They had someone directing traffic at the check out lines which was great. Its a bit of a ride to Athol but we plan to go back there. Its our new go to Ocean State.

I love Ocean State Job Lot. They arent exactly a top of the line fancy store, but as far as these type of stores go, theyre right up there with my top favorites. For the few minor flaws that the store does have, they more than make up for with the inexpensive/reasonably priced variety of quality products. Even though the employees are professional and courteous to their customers.. which is refreshing, for in the past; with the previous owner, they werent the friendliest bunch..

I really commend the staff here... they are helpful and pretty much always in a good mood; the seasonal selections are excellent and I am very impressed with the amount of food options; this is my go-to place for many items.

Another Job Lot. Not as nice looking as some but still with some of the best deals on earth! If you are a bargain hunter, check out their Crazy Deals for something you may need, you just may get it for free. The employees here are very helpful and its always nice to visit.

Travelers, this is a New England gem. Better, high thread count sheets and pillow cases, beautiful area rugs, international foods, all pool and most yard and garden needs. Brass nozzles are a find and a steal. Bath sheet towels are inexpensive and nice. Get your Bobs Red Mill here, and other organic, natural, or international foods. Anchovies, pasta, tomato sauces, crackers, cookies and other junk foods, coffee, English tea and a lot more. Appliances and many other kitchen items. Garden pots, pool supplies, shovels, clothing for men and women which is definitely a hit or miss. So many new items that are overstocks. They usually carry cashmere blend socks for women and they are fantastic. Travelers, make a trip here.

Bought a rugged pair of pants $3.50 cant beat it with a stick .

Ive always loved Ocean State Job Lot ever since I first tried shopping there years ago. They have some interesting items & Ive found some nice brand name clothing there also. Great place if youre looking for last minute gifts too. Lots of books, quality hair products cheap! Only a few things to complain about. A few years ago my then bf & I bought a cake only to bring it home & open to find it was past date & covered in mold.😭 I was able to return it & get money back with receipt. Also, they have a wide variety of makeup, you can get quality nail polish & brushes...but you should probably steer clear of eye makeup from Job Lot! More than once Ive made the mistake of purchasing cheap eye makeup (such as mascara), that was very dried out & no good as well as eye shadow that smelled funky & had a very chalky texture, suggesting it was very old, probably way past the expiration date. And I know makeup takes awhile to expire, so it makes me wonder just how old it really was??? I dont know whether theyre aware that its old, but just be careful please or you could end up with an eye infection or irritation. But other makeup like I mentioned nail polish or even lipstick/lipgloss seemed just fine. They also switch up their merch often so if you dont find what youre looking for when you shop, try revisiting again in a few weeks & youll most likely see new selections. They also have kitchen items, cheap reading glasses, face/body products such as face wash, body wash, soaps, lotions. Prices are very affordable. They also carry products that you may have trouble finding elsewhere or for less than other stores! If you use hair products such as gel, mousse, hair spray, styling cream, etc this is definitely a place you should check out. They carry quality brands like Bed Head & many others for a fraction of what youd pay for elsewhere. They also have childrens toys, you can find many for under $20 or even under $10! If you are Christmas shopping, it is worth a stop here.

Amazing deals with everything you need inside one store, great for this area because there are not many discount stores in the area, they had very nice workers who are always around and willing to help find anything you need. Clean store with bathrooms in the back if needed while shopping. Also even supplies a water fountain great for if the children feel thirsty in the store while you shop. I’ve been coming to this store since 2008 with my family and have never had any bad blood with the store.

I like this place. A little set back from the street and hard to find at first but good store. Employees are friendly and helpful. Surprising selection from gardening to home decor to clothes to foods. Cool store.

Ocean State is one of my favorite department stores, you never know what youll find, prices are great! If you own a kureg, Ive never found a cheaper place to get k-cups. Never mind the insider deals and crazy deals, just sign up and get insider coupons and the crazy deals, buy whatever they have listed on crazy deals and get gift cards, oftentimes worth the same price as the item you bought! Top that!

While this is not one of the larger OSJL stores, this location still lives up to the companys promise of adventure shopping. In addition to offering a wide variety of items at ridiculously low prices, this store offers something that is sorely lacking in many other retail locations - customer service. Whether it is locating an item shown in the weekly flyer or simply smiling while checking out your order, the employees here truly know how to make their customers feel valued.

Good prices as long as you are not looking for a certain brand of product. Store always seems to be disorganized and hard to find items. Hard to push a shopping cart around the store with no organization the isles too narrow and items on the floor.

I give them a four because of the bargains. It can sometimes be messy, and the staff isnt always the friendliest. But there really are bargains to be had. Dont sign up for their discount card. Supposedly members get discounts. Ive never saved anything, and now dont bother to give my number.

Its like a treasure hunt every time i visit. I find things i didnt even know i was looking for or needed, at very good prices.Spices are an especially good deal, as are snack foods, bird seed & other gardening needs.

Even though theres not really much of a selection of things, I still like to go when Im know something is there. May want to label aisles so people arent walking around the store, trying to find what theyre looking for.

Went here when they first opened and was followed out of the store and they told us that I stole something I look Spanish and my brother is darker than me with nappy hair we didnt steal anything I went back into the store showed when I put down the blank Cds and they said next time put them back where you got them Um there will never be a next time cause you lost a customer any minoritys you might be discriminated against in this store was like a spit in my face
