Elijah was awesome. The new location is great. Gallery 63 sold a pinball game for me recently. They got top dollar for it. The check showed up in the mail when he said it would. I was so impressed that I have consigned 4 or 5 more items to him for an upcoming auction. They are 3 generations of auction houses. They know what theyre doing. I would not hesitate to use them to sell items. Their fees are inline with what everyone else is charging.

Love the show but hate that you “touch” everything with your bare hands. The “experts” come in and wear gloves when touching the items. I think its proper to wear gloves when touching old expensive things. But what do I know lol

Do not listen to the people who say preregistering for the auctions is not necessary, because my husband and I did not preregister, and we got turned away! We drove all the way out to Atlanta, hunted for a parking spot, and started walking to the auction. We didnt even get halfway there, and overheard one of the parking attendants asking someone who was parking if they were preregistered. He told the couple that if they werent preregistered, they could not get into the auction. We couldnt believe our ears, since NOTHING on Gallery 63s website says anything about having to preregister. I even sent them an email at the beginning of this week, just to make sure we could get in, and I never got a response. The attendant said, If youre not preregistered for today, youre not going to be allowed in. You can come back at 3, and see if theyll let you in then. 3?! The auction starts at 11!! We werent the only people with this problem. There were at least a dozen other people who had to leave when we did. So frustrating! Someone should update the website!

Gallery 63 is awesome! If you like Auction Kings - you should come down! Theyre open for viewing (no buying allowed) during the week and the Auction is on SUNDAY! Theyre super friendly and youll recognize the whole cast. Theyre there every day. Ive made nearly 20 thousand dollars selling cars on the Auction Block - and Ive bought loads of cool trinkets! Paul, Cindy, Jon, Delfino, Elijah, Amelia - the whole crew are awesome! - not to mention the TV show creators from Authentic Entertainment are really sweet, too. I highly recommend visiting Gallery 63 on Sunday for the auction. Awesome awesome awesome. Did I mention that its awesome?

Absolute worst buying experience of my life. Spent quite a bit of money on a Louis Vuitton bag for it to come with no appraisal or authentication and turned out they would not work with me to return the item or validate it was real. Extremely rude.

Review №27

Not what they once were, and frankly they cherry-pick the items they will auction. I understand that, but to say no to certain items like fine furniture but only want jewelery seems to be misguided. The gallery has recently reemerged from idle and appears to be rebuilding itself. I will watch them, but will participate only if they change some of their practices. Good luck, wish you well, just not with my funds.

Not sure if these guys are still open or not but I bought a diamond ring from them that came with an appraisal that at the time looked very authentic. After I got home I decided to take my ring into have a new appraisal. I gave the existing appraisal along with the ring to the certified appraisal company. They knew right away the diamond wasnt as advertised, and after some research discovered the appraisal was done by an appraisal company the owner of the auction house owned. And the diamonds estimation was thousands of dollars off real value. I took the diamond back to the auction house with my new appraisal and new info about the scam they had pulled and at first they denied my findings and after a few minutes then began to get extremely rude and threatening. Do Not Buy from these people. This company is everything thats wrong with the auction world. and somehow his father still has an auction house thats still operating. These people are crooks, unethical, and liars. Beware.

I will never ever buy anything from this show because the things they auction to their customer seem like a scam and rip off prices. People you cannot be dumb and foolish enough to fall for Gallery 63 item. They are a SCAMMER! Remember the episode where Cindy (the manager office) brought a spy gadget from the used store for $100.00 and she sell it to the auction for $800.00 seriously that is a rip off. I mean if you want something from the auction is better to go to an antique show where people can really show you a legitimate item in person. Do not be a victim from this show or fall into their web of lies people.

I have family in Smyran and went by while visiting. Nothing special. It was okay.My issue is with their apparent lack of knowledge about handling some items. If I was planning to buy from them I would pay close attention. With some of the examples of how they handle items I would be skeptical. Examples below:I saw a 1940s Football Program sold. At the auction Paul pulled it from its sleeve and carried it around. You NEVER do that. That item should be in an acid free bag with board and not held by BARE hand and without any support like a backer board.Another was the Cy Young Ball just recently sold. The expert who reviewed the ball, took the ball out of the case and again, held it in his BARE hand. An expert know you do not do that. Oils from your hand, even when clean, can discolor the ball. You never handle a classic ball like that. They seem very amateur.

I just visited the new location off Cheshire Bridge Road and did not have a good experience. The young gentleman be I meet was not at all respectful and it was my first experience with any action house and he just seem to think everyone knew what be it was all about. He was very arrogant and in some ways very disrespectful. However the lady that was in another office was very kind but since I rushed to the location because today was the deadline it seemed the customer does not matter at the new location.

I never write reviews however was compelled to let people know that visiting this auction house is NOT a must see! Save your time and go to the aquarium! Mr Paul Brown is an obnoxious jerk! My husband and I wanted to tour this establishment While visiting some local friends. Mr Brown, yelled at my husband for previewing the auction material. The auction house is not organized and screamed at him for being in an area that was a display case. Cindy the mananger however was pleasent. Overall I wouldnt waist your time!

I have seen the show on tv and I like it so I figured while in Atalnta I would stop by.I was there on a Wednesday before a Sunday auction at about 9:15 AM. I was greeted by Cindy who was working at some paperwork for some items that just came in. She took a few minutes and spoke with me and she knew I was from New England because of my accent. She told me she lived there at one time. Any way Delpino was unloading trucks as they came in with more stuff for the auction house. I was amazed at how many different things there were to look at. Now some would say it was messy but remember this is an auction house not a retail store so you have to expect that things might not be perfectly neat. There were some negative comments I read before going there about Paul and his buisness. One must remeber this is a day to day running buisness not a museum or amusment park. These people have lots to do so if they do not give you 100% attention you have to accept that and move on.I was ready to leave when the owner Paul walked in. He talked with his staff and then said hello to me. He too was at work and did not have to take time with me.I was included in a converstaion with Paul and Cindy about a recent trip Paul took.As I went to leave I did ask if I could get a picture of Paul Cindy Delpino and myself, Paul came right over and gathered the other 2 and with a big smile said Sure.I thanked them all and Paul walked with me to the door as he spoke about his love of the New England Patriots. So when some say that these people were not nice they did not consider that they saw them at their job. Please respect these people as they are not actors but just regular hard working people.Visit Gallery 63 and say hi to the gang pick up a hat or t-shirt while you are there.

My wife and i are from canada and while traveling through georgia this summer stopped by to check out gallery 63 in sandy springs near atlanta. We met the whole gang from the tv show. It was close to the end of their work day and were obviously tired but were more than gracious hosts showing us around. We could not resist leaving a bid for an up coming auction and ( WE BOUGHT IT) won the bid that is.Thank you everyone at gallery 63 for your good old southern hospitality.Chris and Lorne......ps............ Remember people when you are at a place of business thats what it is a place of business, these people have to earn a living and are not a tourist stop were they are expected to entertain you. For all of you who felt slighted at your visit to gallery 63 you were probably acting like a tourist. If so go to the atlanta zoo its not far from the gallery, there you can stand around and look to your hearts content, you will be entertained and have the animals treat you with the respect you deserve.
