Most amazing repair and body shop I’ve ever been to. I dealt with Ben here and he was only amazing to me and went above and beyond to make sure that I knew what he was doing and why he was doing it. Family owned auto body repair shop with significant high-end car experience. Unlike many shops they communicate very well so you completely understand the timing of the service. So many people told me to go to D & I Auto Body Shop. I have never felt so strongly about recommending a business. From the moment I walked in all the employees were wearing masks which put me at ease right away. I do appreciate the businesses that are observing covid guidelines. All the employees I came into contact with were very friendly and professional.I dealt with Ben ( general manager) from the moment I walked in. His customer service was incredible. His prices are totally fair, his communications with me were so appreciated, and he truly took care of all the paperwork and insurance calls that had to be done. Most importantly, my car looked AMAZING when I went to pick it up. It was done quickly and I really could not say enough great things about this shop.

Service and price was good. I’m knocking down three stars because we are in the middle of a pandemic and not 1 employee wears a mask at this body shop. We were told they were losing business due to wearing masks, so they decided to not wear them. Make it make sense.We stuck it out and continued to work with them because it was an emergency job.

Didnt trust the estimate I was given. The employee took no more than 30 seconds to inspect my car and another 30 to work up an estimate of 2.5k for repairs. When I asked him to explain to me how he got to this amount, his response was that its probably too difficult for me to understand. Im out.

Ben and the whole team at D&I help get my Audi A4 repair quickly and the work was perfect. This is the second time Ive used them, and their quality and customer service is better than a lot of shops Ive used in the past. They are also very honest about the price and dont try to up charge you. They even washed and vacuumed my car before returning it to me.

They delivered in every way from giving me an accurate quote, getting the repairs done quickly and on time, and best of all doing an excellent job on the repairs. Wow. I am so impressed by this body shop. When I first reached out to friends looking for a shop to fix a smashed window, multiple immediately suggested D & I. The amount of warmth I felt from just walking in the store is incredible. Who knew a body shop could make you feel so comfortable? Not only that but they work tirelessly to figure out the best possible deal for you while not sacrificing the work. I recently brought in another car, a Nissan Rogue, and the surprising amount of attention and hard work they put in to fix it was astounding. To top it off, they even cleaned the car for me! With a 7 month old, that is a huge plus! I hope that my cars will stay undented but if not, there is no question where I will go to get it fixed. This is my go to from now on.

From start to finish, my experience with D&I was painless and the work was exactly what I expected.I needed to get my bumper repainted after inflicting some minor scrapes and after searching for body shops online, I emailed D&I to find out when I could come in for a quote. Gustavo responded almost immediately and I was able to get a quote within 5 minutes of walking in the door when I was able to make it by from an extremely helpful guy named Giovanni. He gave me a very fair quote and promised it would look like new when they were done with it. He said they could work me in as soon as I could get the truck in.I brought the truck in the next week and even on a tight timeline (a little more than 24 hours), Gustavo was able to assure me the work would be done well and one time. He communicated quickly and thoroughly throughout the process.I was happy to find my truck parked out front with the bumper looking new as promised at the exact time I said Id be there to get it.I highly recommend this shop. I had gotten into a bad car accident recently. However Dani made me feel comfortable, he was amazing, quick and his prices were affordable/cheaper when comparing to body shops in the area. They were able to take my car in the same day both times and finished the repairs in the time quoted at the best price with the best parts. My car was new AGAIN!! I just had the best auto bodywork experience I have had, and believe me I’ve had too many. I won’t name names but I have used various shops in Buckhead and Midtown and none compare to this one. Ben was great, delivered early which is shocking and there were no surprises. I definitely recommend this establishment.

I got in a small accident after just recently moving to Atlanta. Not only was I concerned about founding a reliable place to fix my car (only 2 years old) but I was in a new city and wasnt sure how to find a good place. I looked on the Yelp reviews and Google reviews etc and got a couple different estimates but those required me to get off work early. I found D & I Auto Body and they were open until 7!! I couldnt believe it. So I called and spoke to Gustavo who was very personable and said theyre open and come on by- so thats exactly what I did. I got an estimate in just a few minutes from Ben, and then I brought my car in a few days later to have it fixed.While it was there being fixed, I also called to ask if theyd take a look at my back bumper (a completely separate issue). Gustavo gladly said they would take a look at it for me, and the next day he called back to tell me how much more that would be and I said yes please fix that as well. So they fixed the repairs that I initially went there for along with something minor that was completely separate, and it was all done in the time they initially said it would be. AND when I went to pick up my car (about 6:15pm on Friday night) it was vacuumed and cleaned out inside which was such a great surprise when I was so happy to get my car back. The repairs were perfect and the paint was all matched perfectly and looked like brand new- I was so pleased!Overall, I was completely blown away by the service at D & I Auto Body and Gustavo, Dani and Ben were all so great and definitely exceeded my expectations.I will definitely recommend D & I Auto Body to anyone in Atlanta who needs car repairs, and I will definitely be going to them again if I ever need to. I was recently in a minor accident that was not my fault. I went through the other drivers insurance company, which was no fun. Ben, Matt and the folks at D&I were absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. They worked with me and the insurance company every step of the way, even getting on the phone with the insurance adjuster. And the repair work on my car was phenomenal. It looks better than new. I cannot recommend these guys enough.

UPDATE to Reply: When we dropped the vehicle off, the opening mechanism worked perfectly fine. When it was returned, the opening assist no longer worked. When we asked for it to be repaired, they would not claim responsibility. Once our review was posted, they called us and offered to pay us what it cost to make the repair elsewhere if we took down this review. I imagine we were not the only ones to receive an offer like this.Very difficult shop to work with, probably stemming from disorganization. From getting the quote to picking up the car, the entire process took around a week and a half with multiple visits in person. After dropping off the vehicle, the quoted price more than doubled. A week after dropping off the vehicle, they called to ask what work they were supposed to be doing to the car. When we went to pick up the car, the tailgate didnt open the same as when we dropped it off due to an electrical issue which they are not legally responsible for, but offered another quote to repair the issue they created. The repair work they did looked fine though which is why this isnt a 1-star review.

I took my car to D & I to repair some damage to my fender and bumper. Ben provided me with a quote and stated that I would have my car back in four business days. Not long after, I received a call stating that another part on my car needed to be replaced and the job wouldnt look good without it. I explained to Ben that it wasnt a big deal due to the age of the car and I wasnt too concerned. Well, Ben apparently didnt like my answer and explained that he was going to replace the part free of charge because he only does quality work. Wow! If you want great service along with flawless body work, please take your vehicle to D & I.My car was returned to me within the four days as promised despite the additional work. Thanks again Ben!

The 5 stars is reflective of everything I experienced at this shop. I showed up to get my car 5 minutes before they closed, but they had already locked up as they didnt have any more customers coming. They got out of their car, opened back up, and got me my car. The work done looked great and the pearl white metallic paint was matched great, besides looking better than the original paint job! Will definitely go here again.

I am so happy with D&I. They have been so good to my family. Theyve replaced and windshield, fixed a bumper, and done some minor mechanical stuff for us. I was in a car accident. I was referred to D&I so I left my damaged car in their hands. My car was repaired quickly & came out better than before. They actually spotted a $400-$500 wiring problem, I believe was done from the previous owner in which the wiring prevented my trunk from opening at all.They even repaired that free of charge. I had an Escalade repaired there a few years ago really great paint job and still looks good now. Also had to go back to the shop about the new factory mirrors the paint begin to fade the owner painted for free even though they were painted from the factory. Now this is customer service. If I need more paint work this is the place to go. I read one customer who said if you are white you get better service not true Im black and was offered to even have lunch with them that his wife prepared.

Ive used D&I twice for damage to my car. They gave fair estimates and exceeded in quality of work and yielded excellent turn-around time. They returned my car back to normal within a few days on both occasions. The location is close to a rental car company (which they will call for you). Friendly staff/highly recommended for your auto-body repair needs.

My VW suffered a collision where my bumper was damaged and my right doors indented. Now its as good as new. They also gave me a free ride to Enterprise so that I can use another car while they do the repair. Great service and reasonable price

They even fixed something that was not fixed correctly by a previous body shop and unrelated to the damage I brought the car in for, simply because they wanted the job done right. They could have ignored the problem and not brought it to my attention, fixed the car and I would never have known the difference. But they did the right thing and I am grateful to them for that. This body shop has HORRIBLE customer service. I was involved in a carjacking that happened a little over a month ago, my car was found but I needed to have some minor repairs made to it. My insurance company dropped my car off on a Friday, I arrived to the body shop the following Tuesday (because they are closed on weekend) to see if they had begun working on my car (to my surprise they had not).However I did not make a big deal out of it, instead I asked the mechanic when would he be done making repairs to my car he said it would take 5-7 days. So I waited on his phone call until the 7th day and still heard nothing! Again I just figured he was behind so I waited a little while longer, by day 10 of waiting I finally decided to call and ask what was going on and when would it be ready. I was told my car wouldnt be ready until 5:00, because it was wet and they could not proceed to the next step until it dried.So I said okay, and I prepared to be at the body shop by 5:00. Due to letting some time pass I arrived at 5:30. When I walked in and sat down, I was asked did I have the money to pay for my car, (as if I was not capable of paying for the services that had been done) I replied yes I do, as I prepared to pay I pulled out my checkbook to write a check, and the mechanic told me that he did not accept personal checks. Only debit, or cash. (I was not advised of this on previous visits, so it baffled me that the mechanic had decided to say something about it once I was ready to pay) Because of the large amount of money I owed I could not withdraw the amount from a ATM or swipe on my debit because theres a limit I cant exceed without notifying my bank before hand.Before leaving despite that they arent open on Saturdays. The mechanic said he would be at the shop working on his own vehicle and that I could come back between 10am-2pm to pay the money. So I got up early retrieved over $4,000 in cash for his services, caught a ride over to his place and arrived a little past 10:00 only to see that he was not there. I decided to sit for awhile and by awhile I mean about 2 hours and yet he was still a no show! Talk about beyond pissed!My purpose of doing this review is to just be open and honest about this body shop, in my opinion unless youre white, you probably wont get the customer service you deserve! I picked this place because I loved the work saw on their website, but its certainly not worth the hassle they put you through. There are many other places in Atlanta that will provide good service for your car and good customer service to you!I am highly disappointed with the customer service provided to me. So this will be my first and last time EVER doing business with this unprofessional body shop!

After being involved in an unfortunate fender bender resulting in a hood replacement, the guys at D & I Body Shop were very helpful in getting my car exactly back to its former condition. Not only did their price beat out the estimates I had gotten from 2 other mechanics, but they were far and beyond the nicest, most understanding, and most accommodating of the shops I talked to. They were very flexible on me dropping off and picking up the car, got me great prices on ordered parts, and color matched the new parts to the car perfectly.

My appreciation to those guys is beyond words. I was involved in this car accident with I was the one at fault, and there are some problems with my insurance company. Long story short, I have to pay for the damage I made on my car as well as the car I hit. Rusty helped me worked out an good price while their manager, Dani, an experienced mechanic, helped me to get me a good turnaround time so I can pick up the car as early as I could. Besides, they did a fantastic work on my car, and its almost unnoticeable that my car has been in an accident. We were traveling through Georgia and had our check engine light come on. D&I was the first result for an Atlanta auto shop. After a brief call we were assured that we would be seen promptly and that they could fix our problem or direct us to someone who could. Within an hour our oxygen sensor was fixed and we were back on the road. D&I was very helpful and were extremely reasonable in price. If we are ever in Atlanta again they will be our first stop for car issues.

I would strongly stay away “assume the risk” from this auto body shop. They claim 26 years of experience and quality of work but just out for a check. Today, I finalized my total loss on my 2015 Audi A4 when my accident took place on November 15th 2018. I had a blow out and my car was damaged so I read the great reviews and decided to tow the car to their location. After the insurance approved the repairs the length of time to fix was 5 weeks. The auto body shop did not include all the damage that would have totaled the car in the first place. I received a call a supplement was being sent to the insurance at the 5th week. I was told prior to the insurance phone call of the total lost by BEN I should pay for the TIRES, the insurance would not cover including the deductible because the work was “80% completed but i would not be able to retrieve my car. I did not pay until I had my key in my hand but received a phone call days later from the car insurance it would be considered a total loss. Not only did the auto body shop know it was going to be a total loss but was asking me to pay my deductible and tires for a car I would not be receiving at all. To lengthen my total loss D and I auto body would not release my car to the insurance until they received payment for my deductible, tires and the time it stayed at the body shop. Please, stay away not only did I not have a car for the last three months but Im in medical school so it was a issue getting around for rotations to take care of patients and having reliable transportion for school because they wanted to make money on a total loss car.

Amazing work. Been to them twice now for repairs done on my C5 vette. I cant tell that it was damaged in the first place how well they fixed everything. They make sure that any possible damages internally are fixed as well. I had to deal with an extremely difficult and frustrating insurance company during my second visit and D&I shop was very patient and understanding and did everthing they could to get things squared away for me. I highly recommend them and I definitely will be back for any future car needs.

We had a minor door repair done here to our 2014 Nissan Leaf. They did an excellent job!! They were professional & punctual, and take great pride in their work. The end result is nothing short of perfect.

$100 cheaper than the other place I checked. Fine establishment run by trustworthy people. All in all a pleasant experience.

Had minor body work done. Quality of work was good, timing was earlier and budget cost was as promised. As a bonus both the interior and exterior or my car we cleaned throughly.

The worst experience I have ever had!! I dropped my vehicle off on a Thursday afternoon and was picked up in my rental. I received a call the next morning stating they could not find parts for my Chevy avalanche so I needed to come get my truck. After leaving I realized that there was additional damages to my truck from them disassembling it.D&I did not inform me of that at all.I would not recommend them to Anyone ever.

My old civic was in need of some sprucing up inside and out. Gustavo took the time to explain their car painting procedure, rest assured this is no quick Maaco crap operation. Being a 98, it didnt make sense for me to invest in a full paint job. Gustavo could tell I was disappointed, so he recommended some other options in my budget: restore the headlights and repaint my peeling spoiler. In addition, he replaced my broken hood latch and review mirror at a reasonable price. The repairs were done in a timely manner and all communication with Gustavo was friendly and quick. I CAN NOT stress enough how big of a difference head light restoration makes. If thats the only thing you do to your car, do it! They honestly look brand new and make the whole car look better. Now I look at everyones headlights and judge them!! Also, I went in a second time so they could finish another little repair and while the tech was working, he thought he messed up my AC, so he tried to repair it. After having no luck, Gustavo asked if I had been having and AC trouble. I told him I had an intermittent cooling issue but I hadnt thought to mention it to him. I was very impressed that the were trying to take responsibility and not send me out the door with an AC issue. He even filled up the freon for me! One last thing, he also gave me the code information for my airbag, the light had been on and I hadnt had a chance to bring it anywhere yet. They dont handle those types of issues but at least I had a heads up before I went to the dealer. A+ experience!
