Well I was definitely hoodwinked, when I arrived to this place the lady was very friendly, smiled at me, showed great customer service, but I noticed the gentlemen wouldn’t look me in my eye, unless spoken to, and that was already a red flag that I shouldn’t have ignored. Regardless of that fact, I left my car there. So when I arrived, they never gave me a clear diagnosis, they said “it’s something in that part that’s not working”. It’s something in that part? This is why I took the car to you, to figure it out! So they didn’t give me a clear diagnosis and I still had to pay $45, plus I had to take an uber to get there, so I was left feeling like i was robbed. The body language and the answer I gather is that they didn’t want to do the work, because they had too many cars, instead of just letting me know, they waisted my time, and cost me $100.

We are relatively new to the area and needed to take our car in for repair. We turned to Google reviews and trusted the mostly positive comments about the business, We are glad we did. We received exceptional service, great price, and nice turn around time. We will be going back!

I have been going to them for years. They are honest and trustworthy. It truly feels like they care. As a woman who is usually uncomfortable talking about car stuff(because I know NOTHING about cars) they are patient with me and do their best to translate my description of the cars issues. I recommend them 100%

BREH. for those that have given negative reviews PSSHHH move on. theyre busy as hell for a reason! they tried and true. they stay communicative and saving YOU every dollar they can. respect my favorite because they will respect your baby even if you dont respect them. they stay busy because theyre that good. the world doesnt revolve around you, your world revolves around them fixing your problem. i guarantee unless youre a butthead, you finna walk away happy satisfied and comforted every time knowing you got what you got. there is no such thing as perfect but they are the closest to it in atlanta. hands down. door locked. case closed. cars will be cars, but my favorite will forever be there. consistent and reliable.

I used this mechanic because of the convenience to my neighborhood and the good reviews. They always did a fine job on my car and the mechanic is easy to talk to. However, the way their business is set up makes it really frustrating to be a customer. They don’t take appointments, so you have to drop your car off first thing in the morning and pick it up at the end of the day or the next day. But half the time I would come there, the mechanic would tell me they would need to keep my car for 2+ days, just for a simple oil change, since they were so busy. When you plan your day around leaving your car at the mechanic, it makes it extremely difficult to have to last minute chance up your plans of transportation for multiple days in a row, especially if you are single and your car is your only mode of transportation to work, essential errands, etc.

I wanted to take my car to this, the neighborhood shop because its good reviews and very convenient location. The first time, just bought a small replacement part and had it installed there without issues.My second visit (a couple of years ago), my car door locking system was not working and I was unable to open the hatchback so I took it to get it looked at. I researched and told the person that most likely the problem could be the hatchback wiring, a known issue.They told me the issue was the car computer that had to be changed at the dealership and charged me for the revision. This fix costs thousands of dollar, and was merely diagnosed by looking ath the ob2 code.I asked if they looked at the wires, they said no because the hatchback was locked.I took the car home, googled how to manually unlock the hatchback, looked at the wires and they were broken. Fixed them with tape, and the issue was gone.Very dissapointed that I, that know nothing about cars, was able to fix the issue in a couple of hours, and my favorite automotive misdiagnosed this, did not take a look at what I suggested (that was the real issue), charged me for the diagnosis and could have meant a very expensive fix.

Good folks. I trust them to work on my van. Their prices are reasonable, and turnaround time is good. Have used them 3 times in the past 12 months.

Missy is rude and unprofessional. Speaks to customers as if they are incompetent. Not the friendly neighborhood mechanic of the lower eastside. Most certainly not “My Favorite”.I’m not confident my repair was properly completed, and after reaching out, our “friends” attempted to cut ties rather than diagnose.... on their own repair....You’ll get what less than you pay for (or more than you bargained for) even at $90/hr shop labor. I’d recommend supporting a different business, one with a greater commitment to the industry of service.

After reading all the reviews and looking for a local mechanic I took my 2014 Hyundai Elantra over for some new brakes! I was very pleased they were very knowledge, friendly, affordable and quick! Dropped my call off around 9 picked it up around 2 pm. Just wish they did appointments but it worked out fine! Will definitely recommend and go back to again.

Ive come to My Favorite with my cars for 22 years. This is one of those mechanic shops that, once you find them, you hold on to for dear life.They are truly honest, and they dont fish for fake problems to charge you more. As an honest shop, they dont give free estimates either, but the superb work speaks for itself.

After having a bad experience with a mechanic, I was suggested to check-out My Favorite Automotive. Seeing the positive reviews, I gave them a call. I left a message since no one picked up and got a swift return call from Missy. I let her know a previous auto shop said I needed my rear pads replaced and described how my brakes sounded when I was driving. She provided clear and simple car advice over the phone. After listening to her suggestions, I decided to get a brake-check from them for a reasonable cost ($26.00). Missy let me know that they do not schedule appointments and advised that I get there at opening. The next day I dropped my car off at opening. The wait was a little bit longer than I expected (about 3 hours). I did some things around the neighborhood and then took a Lyft home. After they took a look at my car, Missy gave me a callback and let me know my pads were fine and that my brakes didnt need replacement. She saved me nearly $200 on getting my rear brakes fixed. She provided some more advice on my car for the future, and I went on my mary-way. Overall, I am satisfied with the service I received and will be returning for other automotive needs.

They did a great job! There was a lot of work to be done on my car but they got it done same day. Staff was super friendly and easy to work with. They called to keep me up to date with what needed to be done and pricing. Ill be using them for all my future mechanic needs!

Ive never felt a strong desire to leave a review, and certainly never for a mechanics shop, until My Favorite Automotive. Missy was wonderful - honest, fair, and transparent. She leveled with me and gave me my options honestly and with no pressure. Shes got a great personality and is super easy to work with. I am beyond satisfied with the work she did on my 4Runner! Missy is phenomenal! Id been looking for a home mechanic after a few bad experiences at big box repair shops. My cars issues were pretty minor, but Missy was so amiable and attentive that it still felt like top-notch customer service. My car began overheating and I found out I needed a new radiator. This was the first major repair my car’s ever needed, so I was a little anxious about the cost. The price was less than I had feared and the team was so honest and straightforward about the repairs and even walked me through each item on the invoice. I got my car back the next day and it worked great, and they even helped me troubleshoot an unrelated issue over the phone later on. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Missy and her team are wonderful! I was having an issue with my car and the check engine light kept going on and off. They worked with me for months to solve the problem, and Missy always offered the cheapest solution first before trying more expensive options. Luckily, the fix she recommended (at a whopping total of $36) worked! This team is honest, transparent and great to work with. I highly recommend.

Don’t bother. I don’t think they want any new customers. They are never able to fit me in when I go. I work from home and can’t just drop my car off early in the morn like they require. Plus it’s across town from where I live so I have to drive a little ways and try to fit it in when I have to go to this area. And they don’t seem like they really want to help either. I called the place down the street that also seems to have good ratings and he said I could bring my car in right now.
