The view of the river is fantastic. Nice and quiet ambiance to study or do work. The area surrounding offers plenty of food options to bring back as well being that the coffee shop only provides pastries which is fine I was just super hungry. The customer service at the front desk could be a little better, I asked about entry and the lady was a little sassy with her response. All in all I will be returning here for my studies and peace and quiet.
So many people have said that the products/coffee aren’t great but I beg to disagree. I had a chia latte and smoothie... both were phenomenal.Beware of gate issues. When you dial 0101, it may say access denied. You need to then dial the leasing office and explain what you’re there for. Have a little patience. It was maybe a 2 minute process to get into the gated community. I would say the ambience is worth it!
I use to live at Walton on the Chattahoochee and was in town for a Braves Game. I understand that it is now only for residents on the weekends, but dont expect them to welcome you on property once you are no longer a renter. My friend was not answering his phone and I tried to wait by the river hoping he would call me back after I announced myself in the leasing office. Before that happened I was politely asked to leave. The coffee is good here but you are only welcome Monday through Friday, even if you were a long time resident.
This is a hidden gem. I found out about this coffee shop on TikTok lol upon arrival there is an entry code on the gate and if the coffee shop is not to capacity then once you enter the code the gate will open. The coffee shop is towards the back of the complex near the leasing office. I ordered a chai tea latte and decided to take my latte to the swings by the river. The latte wasnt that great but the views were immaculate. I could sit out there for hours. I cant believe I had no clue this was here and I only live a few minutes from this area. I highly recommend visiting this for the views alone.
I’ve been here many times for many different occasions. I am absolutely in love with this coffee shop that butts up right on the river. There’s a short hiking trail that I like to climb, but if I’m looking for a relaxing place to read, I’ll sit in the hammock and watch the water flow past. I’ve even seen some cool wildlife here even a Bald Eagle! Will always and forever recommend this hidden Atlanta gem.
Ham&cheese croissant is very delicious. The hot chocolate, lacks flavor. And there wasnt any whipped cream.
Arrived early on a weekday to get some work done before a lunchtime walk at the river. Since I was one of the first people to stop by that day, I had no trouble finding parking or a table. For the Covid-conscious: The barista who prepared my drink was wearing a mask and I’d say patrons were 50-50 for mask usage while ordering their drinks. Once outside, sipping my coffee with a beautiful view of the river, I felt something that I’ve barely felt in the past year: Peace. I also paid about $5 for the teeniest cappuccino I’ve ever had (including at coffee counters in Italy!) which was quite a surprise. Next time I won’t get it with oat milk as it turned out quite bitter. I am guessing the actual liquid was about 6 oz. in a 12 oz. cup. See photo with my phone for scale 😅 Still, $5 felt like a small price to pay to sit by the river and take in the moment. One final note: The WiFi was strong enough to support a video conference call for work, and with a virtual background and headphones I think you’d easily be able to take meetings here. I’ll be back!!
This quaint little coffee shop is quite the hidden gem. The drinks here taste great, but the environment is what makes it special. Looking out over a large grassy area and the Chattahoochee river, the patio makes for a great spot to sip a drink and read a book or reply to emails. The inside has very lovely decor as well.
Great view, tasty iced latte. Relaxing afternoon working from their deck, even with heavy rain. Love this place!
Don’t waste your time on this place. Have tried 4 times to go and the gate always says “access denied” and they don’t answer the phone. Total joke of a business that is clearly only for this apartment complex.
It used to be a hidden gem, before pastors took it over. Service used to be great, but now they just want your (single mens for sure) money, not you. With all that construction, parking is difficult to find. On weekends, the place is reserved for onsite apartment community. Why bother, really!
This place is small piece of paradise. If you need a break come here and get back in touch with nature. Just make sure you bring Off for the outside, definitely a few bugs waiting for a buffet out there.
This is the LAST TIME I am going to try and go here. I had work to do and wanted to go here so I packed up my office and made the trek... Big Mistake. They were at capacity. This is not the first time either. When I called they did apologize and directed me toward their new place in Smyrna. They told me that it was also on the river... ITS NOT. The river is there but you have to walk a good distance away. The coffee shop is not even facing the river, its facing another apartment complex and a construction site. The interior looks like the apartment complex built it with NONE of the fun of Akers. AND AGAIN, NO RIVERVIEW!!!! I guess I have to make a trip to another, inclusive coffee company who values my time. 😒
Absolutely beautiful, TRULY breathtaking view. Perfect coffeehouse for peace and meditation and work. Do not bring the kids unless youll be outside, great location for them to learn and explore! Then again, they have a shelf full of board games, coloring books, and crayons. They dont serve food, only pastries. That is the ONLY disappointment. Wish I had found them sooner, but I just saw the Zagat review explaining that theyre located inside of a gated apartment complex. Just drive straight back, worth the effort!!! For the record, as a pretty darn good cook of vegan and vegetarian fare, their Spinach & pimento is, hands down, the best quiche Ive EVER had!!!
One of the best coffee shops by far in the area. Their location is just wonderful and because they are right by the river the views can be amazing and relaxing. In reality your visit here will be anything you want it to be. Just be prepared to stand up on line, wait for a table or walk around for a while as the place is very popular and patrons tend to stay inside for a while. It is also located inside an apartment complex and is only accessible to the general public during the week (keep in mind they will not buzz you in past 8pm). On weekends it is only open for residents.
Thank You So Much Brandon for being Awesome. And making the best latte. Your customer service was personal pleasant and kind. Kudos.
Low key one of the coolest coffee shops in all of Atlanta. Right on the water with an incredible sitting area and beautiful scenery.Only open to the public Mon-Fri so try to find some time to check it out and enjoy some nature along the Chattahoochee.
Barista was rude. The coffee isn’t close to being decent. Only cool thing about it is the view and a nice place to hang out.
Sweet little coffee house tucked in the back of an apartment complex, right on the Chattahoochee. Comfortable and inviting with welcoming staff and plenty of places to sit both inside and out on the deck. Relax, work, or just take in the beautiful views. It’s open to the public on weekdays but Saturday and Sunday it’s residents only. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.
Dont waste your time if you live far. They never let you in because of capacity. This place is only for residents. I traveled 20 minutes only to be turned away. Im done with this place!Update: there is a camera on the call box and they pic and choose who they let in. I guess i wasnt the right type of person
My favorite coffee shop in Atlanta! the views are amazing! the coffee is great too and the service is good! This place is not open to public on weekends, but definitely worth a visit on week days especially during summer and fall. It is inside a gated community and hence you will have to look up for coffee shop in the address directory at the gate and call them, so that they can let you in.
Cant beat the views. Is this even in Atlanta? Omg!
What a beautiful location for a coffee shop. They follow covid protocols. Seating area is great. Mocha was superb. Good pricing too. Highly recommended.
Amazing venue. Coffee choices great, but at 9:30 am on a Friday morning they had run out of anything to eat.
Cool, relaxing place to get some work done! Scenery wasn’t bad either!
I love everything about this cafe except for the coffee. The atmosphere is comfortable, clean, and quiet which makes it work friendly. The views are spectacular and the staff was friendly. My only disappointment was with their coffee. They serve the Counter Culture brand, which I am not a huge fan of. Nevertheless, whenever I travel to Atlanta again, this will be on the list of place to get some work done.
The waiters and waitresses were very responsible and passionate through their job. Even the foods and the coffee that I ordered taste delicious and accurate to what I expected. The best coffee shop that I have ever visited! Besides, the place has a very good view, cool, and fascinating to relax. I greatly loved the taste of the coffee. It was excellent. Thank you!
I’ve been here a bunch of times, and I will continue to come here. I can assure it’s not because of the coffee. Even though the foam art is beautiful, the coffee is really sub par for what my standard of trendy little coffee shop has become. However, I’m giving the establishment 4 stars ⭐️ because the view of the river is picturesque any time of year, and there is ample seating in doors and outdoors depending on your reason for coming in. Here are the negatives: I’m really not sure why it takes so long to get your beverage... it may be because the baristas are constantly answering the phone to open the gate for potential patrons. Anyway: I hate to say it, but there was a mocha I had a few weeks ago. I waited for it to get good. I waited through the whole thing, drank every last drop and never felt satisfied. I subsequently went to Starbucks to get my coffee fix. 🤷🏻♀️also, I’ve had a few different types of bagels and pastries... none of those have been very good either. I guess I just keep hoping I’ll find the sweet spot.
Like most people here, i hesitate to write this in fear of other people knowing about it, but must give credit where deserved. This is the single most beautiful coffee shop and setting in the Atlanta Area. I cannot believe it’s maintained by the apt complex it must cost a fortune. Bring your dog, kids, stuff to grill, and a tube
This place is so pretty! A beautiful place to study with friends. Beautiful birds chirping too. Scenic views as well!
It’s such a beautiful place to study! Arrived at 9:45am on a Thursday and barely got a table. However, the bustle inside this coffeehouse felt very warm and inviting. It’s a great place to catch up, get work done, or even go on a date- right on the river! Only negative is that it’s in an apartment complex where you need to call the gate to get in and visitor parking is a 2-3 min walk away. Nothing to complain about with the actual coffee/pastries.
Great coffee. They use Counter Culture. Great view. Power outlets on the patio a big plus. Relatively quiet. Could have been a great place to work if not for the BAD WiFi! Honestly I got very little work done and that was half the reason I was there, since the WiFi kept acting up, was super super slow and kept getting disconnected. They also ran out of their savory snacks pretty soon so a good idea would be to buy in advance even if youre planning to eat it later. I would definitely go back for the view and the coffee. Maybe more to relax, read a book than to work. They really ought to do something about the WiFi!
Really gorgeous postcard-esque grounds; one of my favorite places in all of Atlanta to take friends to. The baristas have also always been very nice when Ive visited.I would easily give this place 5 stars primarily because its indeed well worth the visit (a friend of mine from out of town even looked into living at the community after we visited the coffee shop). That said, I must either be having bad luck or the ATL community is just rapidly catching onto this place... because slightly more than half of the times Ive tried to visit (6 out of 11 in the past 3 months), the gate code is deactivated to the public during the week because the coffee shop parking lot is evidently full. This has resulted in a lot of canceled/changed-on-the-fly hangouts with friends and family. So the inconsistency of access somewhat tinges my experience. The gate access does not seem to be restored accurately/timely either. There have been long stretches of time when at least 4 or 5 parking spots were available but the gate was still closed. Im sure its a hard logistical challenge and there are no easy answers. I wish there existed a pedestrian access gate somewhere - that way people could park elsewhere (saves parking space!) and walk in. As it stands, theres a bit of gamble your chances to access headache.
Got a chi latte. Price and quality were good. Really liked the atmosphere and that its on the river. Truly stunning to sit outside. Its another perk that you have full access to the park on the river as a costomer of the coffee shop. Only thing is that I really wish it was open to the public on the weekend at some point. Its residents only on Saturday and Sunday.
Even on cold day, it was nice to come there for coffee. Due to covid policies, there were only two tables for company like 3+ people, I think. The coffee was pretty strong which is definitely a plus. The atmosphere was super peaceful and nice. I will definitely come back here on sunny day to walk near the water and sit on the terrace.
Everyone was nice and the coffee was good, although its a relatively small menu. But the real reason to stop by here is for the surrounding view. The coffee shop is in an apartment complex along the chattahoochee river. The patio tables have a great view if the river and small nature trails nearby make it well worth the effort of finding this out of the way spot.
Always a pleasure sitting by the river ☺️
The code which they have given is not working out when we try to unlock it . And very disappointed every time . Please do change the process .
Great coffee, little pricey but best views of the Chattahoochee. Coal grills and seating on the grounds. Given that it is in a closed community, it is not open for the public over the weekend. Also, if the cafe is at full capacity, they close it for public during the week too. Check in advance if you’re driving from far.
Awesome place to have coffee and enjoy the river view.
Absolutely love this place! Such a peaceful and beautiful setting.
We really enjoyed sitting by the hooch and drinking our well prepared coffee.
Great spot for coffee on the river if you can get into the complex
You must visit this adorable coffe house in weekdays with amazing riverside atmosphere...
Very disappointed how we drove 35 min to get there and got denied at the access gate because they are at their full capacity. We called them prior to departing from our house to just confirm we can come, and the staff said yes . And by the time we arrived at the gate, access denied. And then, I called the cafe, the staff told me to wait 30 min maybe Ill be able to enter . So what am I gonna do with a maybe 30min time slot, of course we just drove back home and pick up a starbucks drink. So here is the thing, we understand it is covid time and limit amount of ppl, but for convenience, I think its ideal for them to just allow ppl to make reservation online with certain time slot, that way ppl wont have to drive so far and get turn away.
Very scenic area outside. Coffee was good and warm. Friendly staff. Would be an ideal place to write a book.
Not sure how I missed this place. I really liked the coffee shop and place around it by the Chattahoochee river. Loved to go in the evenings. Nice latte and chai. I recommend it.
Absurdly rude staff this morning, after being a customer for 4 years this is the last time I’ll ever come back since this seems to be the trend lately
Amazing Coffee and a beautiful location. The shop is located in an apt complex. It is a little tricky to find and park. However, the views and the quality coffee is totally worth it.The chairs are comfortable and the staff is very friendly. There is only one bathroom and it is unisex. Pretty spacious and clean.
A must visit place with your friends. Awesome view of the river. Options of coffee are limited but I guess it’s a place known more for its view.
This is my favorite coffee shop in town but if you guys are not going to let people in for “parking “ issues then you need a reservation system for parking cause I wasted an hour of my day trying to get in. If people can’t park don’t list this as a public coffee shop
Perfect location. Very good coffee
One of the best places on earth...that is all!
My first visit and I had a great time--good coffee, great views--I was so productive! Will be back-often. 😁
Great Coffee and Atmosphere. Beautiful views.
Awesome place and friendly people. ABreathtaking view is one of the attractions of the place.
Shhhh! Its a secret.
Coffee is merely ok. Its better than Starbucks, but that aint saying much.
Amazing views to go with great coffee. Its a bit of a drive for me, but always worth it.
I had a great time working here for the day. The clientele were polite and the pastries were delicious!
The current manager, Matt, is top notch.Coffee is good, service is better.
