We were helped and asked to return once our services were completed. Once we arrived to retrieve our phone we were pleased to have great service. Thank you Apple team for resolving our phone issues. We will return.
Bar in the store location handled my reservation wonderfully despite being very busy. The lady sat me down and diagnosed my computer battery problem. I mentioned the speakers were damaged and sound distorted wondering if they could repair the battery and speakers.She had another tech specialist look into the speakers and he told me if they changed the speakers they would charge me labor cost for the repair and advised me against it. I agreed since I have external speakers and didnt care to pay and extra $110 for $35 speakers. He wrote the work order stating I agreed not to have the speakers replaced and only want the $200.00 battery replacement.Around a week later I get an email saying my order was placed on hold because they found issues with the speakers (already known issue). I had 3 choices pay an extra $110.00 for the speaker repair, no repair, or call an agent to assist.I called the agent thinking this was a simple misunderstanding and they didnt read the work order that I declined the speaker repair. 2 hours on the phone and the facility they sent it to called dispatch for the battery repair will not accept only performing the battery repair despite the clearly written work order instruction from genius bar at Apple Cumberland Mall. It turns out they have a rule if they want to repair extra stuff and charge you more that you either accept or your work order gets rejected and your property sent back to you in disrepair. Dont bother calling support like I did as the people on the phone told me it doesnt make sense but this rule is set in stone.

Visited this place to return my Iphone 12mini. One executive checked the reason of my visit and then asked me to wait at certain place. Shop was crowded and another executive came after10 min but after that, rest of the process was smooth... Executive was bit more chatty though :)
I bought an Apple Watch that doesn’t come with a band, so I had to buy one with it. It says all is in stock and I go to pick it up. The store is an hour and half away from me. I get there and they tell me the band I ordered isn’t in stock and they won’t have one in stock for at least 2 months. I really wanted the band I ordered cause I don’t like the others and the employee tells me that if I buy another band I can just use it until I get the original band I ordered. So I pay another $50 and I ended up not using the watch or band until The band I ordered finally come in and I go all the way back up there to return the band I didn’t use only to be told they have a 14 day policy and they can’t return it. I told them the story and what the employee said and they said they can’t do anything about it. Needless to say it’s pretty pathetic a multimillion dollar company won’t return a $50 band even though the whole situation is their fault.
On 07/08/2021 I stopped by the Cumberland location to have the battery in my IPhone X replaced I didnt have an appointment so they asked me to wait a short time before I could be seen. So after a couple of laps around the Mall they tended to my Phone and after changing the battery discovered a serious fault with the unit and to my surprise replaced it with a new Phone. This along with the High professionalism by all Involved I will always choose Apple products no matter what!
Visited with appointment 9/22/2021. Was greeted by gray hair man that told me he couldn’t sign me: too early arrival (appointment at 2:15 and arrived at 1:55. So I said I can sit in here and wait (I’m senior citizen).. answer, NO, you have to wait outside. Very rudeI just walked in and sat in on of the many empty chairs you have have around tables!!!! Thank God, Mike from Genius Bar saw me and he sign me in, and at the right time took care of my battery problem very professional and understood all his assessment. Because of him I’m pleased with your service BUT NOT the employee at the entrance … needs more training on empathy and customer service.

Drive an hour to go to a store and be informed that I “had” to make an appointment first. Seriously?! Like this should have been common knowledge? They then refused to do anything or even see me and said I had to contact apple via phone. I am getting rid of all of my apple products! I have been a faithful customer since my first iPod like 13 years ago. Never again!!!

Didnt have to wait long before being helped, but was a bit taken aback, when I was told they couldnt really fix what wasnt working on my brand new iPad!Even the manager couldnt give me better news, and actually suggested I use MacBook instead! So the $1k I spent on my iPad was just a waste of money?

Terrible service!!! went to this Apple Store about a week ago to pick up an online order. I used instant trade in and picked the option to drop off my old device in store and pick up my new phone. So I got my new phone and two weeks later I get an email from apple that I had to ship out my old device with a trade in kit they shipped out to me but the apple specialist that handled my order that day that I went to pick up my new one didn’t tell me anything about me having to ship it out myself they just received my old one and I took my new one and said I was all set. So after receiving that email I call customer service to ask them what they did to my old device and why was apple asking me to ship it out. They said that I needed to go to the store where I got my new phone. I went and turned out they had my device 2 weeks and they asked me to ship it out but when I got it back it looked like the picture and now my credit value went from 500 to 100! It’s ridiculous and do not recommend this place!
Rudest employee I have ever encountered at a retail store. Name “Sidney” would not get a manager. Said I had to work on their schedule, they would not work with mine. Guy in the mall Kiosk fixed me up in 5 min and I hope this wakes up apple. We the people have choices. Very bad customer service.
Yesterday I went to buy a charging capsule for my AirPod pros and the staff gave me wrong item. I had to refund the item the next day. A complete waste of time and portrayed poor understanding toward their customers. I recommend going to Lenox to avoid their Cumberland terrible customer service.
Today I was at the Apple Store at the Cumberland mall and had the worst service, the agent I spoke with had no manners and was very rudely talking, he was constantly talking with an attitude, we asked to speak with the repair specialist we spoke with earlier that week and he went on the side and didn’t wish to speak to us and made excuses, no one attended us nicely and mostly importantly no covid guidelines were follows and everyone was standing close and no 6 feet apart was maintained and every customer was given a table right next to each other. I loved coming to Apple store but after this experience I will never again come back here. Had the worst worst experience here today at the Cumberland Apple Store.They also kept us waiting to get our Mac picked up for repair.
I used to love coming into the Apple store to purchase new products or to simply explore whats there to buy. And as of yesterday, that will probably not happen again until they work through these new COVID precautions.I literally was ready to buy. Money and knew a new phone was what I needed. Walked up, got in a line, and was literally told you need an appointment to shop. okay, its 3pm the next appointment was at 5:15. I initially didnt reserve the spot because I was thinking I knew what I wanted and would order and pickup the same day. After thinking it through, I decided to get the appointment only to learn it was gone and the next time I could shop was next day at noon.I even asked is there a potential way to get a slot for a NO SHOW and I was told, NO and I just need to go online and buy it.Ummm a new phone without touching it, NOPE. Went to Best Buy where I had a much better experience.Apple store precautions are so extra now and not worth the wait or headache. Go to a store that understands the virus and is really going to not make you jump through hoops to spend $1400+

Apple 🍎 stores are always busy! I was expecting to wait a very long time.They even had an educational class going on for young camp kids in the middle of the store.Everyone in the store seemed to be having a great time even though it was very noisy and crowded.But Help was very quick and helpful with dinging the product that I needed and they gave me a discount that saved me 20 bucks because the power adapter came slightly bent when I bought it but I was too tired to take it back to the store.So for the inconvenience, he took it back to refurbish it.😮 Wow‼️💯I was so grateful for his kindness and consideration.I love Apple Products because They are great for a non-Techi person like me. BUT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CARE IS KUCH BETTER THAN THE PRODUCTS❤️💯‼️

Apple has always provided me with great customer service, until a recent visit to the Cumberland Mall location. First, it is important to note that all Apple Stores are unavailable to the public without a reservation due to COVID. I was unable to make an appointment online because my Apple product was broken, and I need it to go into the store to replace it. when you call the store, it is not direct you to a team member at the location, but rather an Apple Support employee at some remote location. The employee told me he was making me an appointment for the Apple Store in Cumberland Mall, but actually scheduled it for me the Perimeter Mall. When I arrived at Cumberland Mall, they told me they had no record of my appointment and refused to serve me. I left and called Apple Support back and explained the situation. The support employee told me he would reschedule my reservation for later that day. when I return from my reservation, I was informed again that they had no record of it in the system. I expect so much more out of Apple. I will not be returning to this location ever, and I am considering switching away from Apple permanently.
Not very friendly or professional. If it wasnt for my wife nagging me about buying a $800 phone for her birthday I would have bought her a Samsung.

Consistently terrible service from the male employees at this location. Care more for breaks than providing accurate data. For example, 1 curly haired fella didn’t know what a diagnostics report was, yet he was an Apple employee. Would expect higher caliber employees at a tech shop, not middle school drop outs.Happily invite them to my boxing gym, maybe chin checks will knock some sense into them.
I know this is a touchy subject but Im not to happy with the new firearm changes. Im not a thug looking for trouble my firearm is to protect me from the very same people we are trying to keep out.

Rachel was a huge help. She was very informative and guided me through the whole process of getting a new phone. I was able to trade in my iPad Pro and iPhone 8 Plus for an iPhone 11, all in one payment. I will definitely come here again.

April 2021 - I ordered an accessory on-line from Apple. In order to return any products, you need to make an appointment. I could only make an appointment for the next day. People work, have families and obligations. It is ridiculous to expect people to make an appointment to return an item. Beware, and buy any accessories from anywhere else but Apple!!!!
Social distancing measures in place right now. You wait in line to enter the store and have your temp checked before entering (only a certain number of customers allowed at one time). My wait was less than 5 minutes but you can also book a shopping slot ahead of time. There is also lots of hand sanitizer as everyone is touching everything. After that its basically like any Apple store.

I made a reservation online to try on and purchase Apple Watch SE. However when I get in store they told me there weren’t any try on models for SE and the person who measure sizes for solo bands are not in store today.
Be prepared to wait over 45 minutes after your scheduled appointment time before anyone even sees you.
Plenty of stores and plenty to do considering there isnt much of a mall anymore where Im from.

I came in with my daughter late on a Saturday night in the place was crowded. My daughter had just purchased an iPhone seven from our phone company and immediately proceeded to lock herself out of it. We were met at the door by a gentleman who made an appointment for us which was super easy. We had a seat in the store while we waited for our appointment, and was able to try some apple products as we waited. Our Apple technician helped us 45 minutes sooner than we were expecting.Her name was Raj (not sure im spelling that right). She was helpful, fast and efficient. While my daughters phone was plugged into her computer getting unlocked, she was able to move on and help someone else, and kept checking back on the phones progress. She communicated what she was doing and why. But, the absolute best thing about her was her energy. I left there feeling better, happier, she just lifts the energy of the people that she is around. I saw it happen to another customer too. Great experience! Great employees!
Went there, today, 30 minutes before they close. As I approach, Cynthia, tells me that I need to get a temperature scan. Both my granddaughter and I go get scanned and go back to Cynthia. She then tells me they arent taking any more people. Really Cynthia? You couldnt tell me that before I got the temperature scan? Wow. And, when I asked what were all these people doing? She said theyre appointment makers! Well ~> heres a thought ~> train some of these stand arounder money wasters to actually do some work! And, tell Cynthia not to ask people to get their temp taken if they arent seeing any more people!Apple Cumberland...pls get some competent help...its a MESS!

Extremely disappointed in apple. I purchased a phone and drove 2 hours from this location to pick it up. Only for them to say “it’s not ready until maybe tomorrow”. THEY TOOK MY MONEY. Now I’m being turned away to drive another 2 hours home empty handed. Meanwhile no one out of 15 employees offered to help in any way. VERY DISAPPOINTED and apple has lost my business.
Horrible customer service. Inconsistent message. One associate/manager team makes one promise but another fails to deliver on it. They are generally rude and unhelpful. Their associates dont even know their own products well. The Lennox and Perimeter store and their employees are more knowledgeable and generally nicer. However, the Cumberland store should be avoided at all costs. They are simply tarnishing Apples brand image. Big fail. F!
Even on a packed evening while serving multiple customers, Aubrey was patient, attentive, and very helpful. He answered all our questions and I know my Mac is in good hands.
It’s clean, staff is super helpful but if I’m honest I’ve never been to Apple store where these weren’t facts. Wait time I’d long but if you schedule online you won’t have those worries. It’s in a mall so depending on the time of day parking sucks...however I always park between Cheesecake Factory and Pf Changs that has been the fastest way to the store for me.

I in for a Genius appointment to address a warranty issue with my phone. The service was prompt and flawless! They fixed the issue withIn the hour, faster than they quoted and were polite and professional. I was worried because the store has some negative reviews, but I saw nothing but an eager to serve staff that was more than friendly and obviously having a great time together. The store was extremely busy with at least 75 customers and the staff handled it brilliantly. Kudos!

BRIAN did such a great job helping me get two quotes on a laptop. He was very friendly and knowledgeable on the benefits, differences and accessories needed. Upon arrival ARTIEs greeting of “how can I help you” after waiting in the long line was very dry and formal adding a soft “hello” and a smile would be better.
So I had the new iPad Pro and although it’s an amazing tablet I had to come to the realization that’s it’s just that, an amazing tablet so I had to return it. Even though I was returning the Apple Store was polite, helpful and understanding and even let me know that I am making the right decision especially if I felt I needed more. Surprisingly, they did not try to up sale me or charge a restocking fee like Best Buy does, it was a pretty good experience and that’s what makes customers come back!

She told me today is her 8 year anniversary with Apple and after working with her for over 30 minutes I completely understand why Apple has retained her for eight years keep your eye on her, and promote her fast before someone else recruits her. 😉
No service! They are not posting correct info on their website. No excuse for such BAD customer service. No courtesy or consideration for customers. Reminder - without customers you have NO job. Mail order for me! Thanks for nothing.
