I live in IN, my daughter is going to school in TN and she was having issues with her computer which she loves. The closest Microsoft store was in Atlanta, GA. I made an appointment with Tripp at the Perimeter Mall location. He was awesome to deal with on the phone. The technician that worked with us was Joe and he did a fantastic job and resolved all the issues. Really nice to have a manufacturer actually stand behind their warranty and then to get that type of service was awesome. We drove a good distance but after we arrived we were in and out in less than an hour with a replacement computer and all the data downloaded onto it. GREAT JOB!!!!!

I walked In the store browsing for a laptop for college because I recently just broke mines and nobody spoke to me for the 4-5 minutes I was inside the store. As I was leaving that’s when someone decided to speak but it was too late. They need to work on greeting others and having positive energy flowing instead of being mute and walking in circles.

Had to return a gaming laptop I bought online. The machine was perfect, just not the perfect fit for me. Joshua was amazing. He and his coworker handled the return with no hick ups. Very understanding and helping people. They even gave me a coke to enjoy while we were having a very nice conversation. This has been my best costumer experience of 2017.

Ive been here a few times, looking for very specific items which I researched online prior to visiting the store. I called ahead and made sure they had it in stock. Even so, the staff was unable to locate the item when I arrived. Granted, it was a brand new item (new red Xbox Controller) that released that day. Either way, the staff was friendly, the store was aesthetically pleasing, and well stocked.

Great Experience & Service After The Sale! I purchased a defective Dell XPS 15 Laptop which Dell refused to support or troubleshoot further without paying a fee, however the Microsoft Store traded me out with ease. Wow. What a refreshing experience after spending a few hours on hold and working with Dell, reinstalling windows for the 3rd time without improvement and finally being hung up on by Dell after I refused to accept that I should have to pay to have them troubleshoot a brand new high end laptop which continually freezes right out of the box and after each of 3 windows installs. Thank You Microsoft Store for doing the job which Dell would not. I will always buy hardware from a physical store with a return policy as opposed to factory direct who can say Not My Problem. This clearly shows why Microsoft is making such a fantastic turnaround.Also, the first sales rep I worked with was extremely knowledgeable on their products. Very impressed.

I have a product that needs service or the potential of a trade in however it would require me driving a long distance to make it to a store. I figured if I called the store they could give me a ball park on what I could expect. I in fact received the exact opposite. The associate who answered my call refused to provide any information regarding what I could expect so I guess they can expect to not receive my business.

I went to this store to discuss some issues I was having with my phone. I waited 10 minutes for 2 employees who were talking about there weekend to help me. I asked a couple questions and the young gentlemen could not even answer one of my questions. Then he asked if I was interested in purchasing a new phone. My phone is 6 months old. Microsoft PLEASE educate your staff. I am a long time windows guy. I will not be purchasing any more windows products. Apple will be happy with my money since Microsoft doesnt seem to need it.

I drove from Rome, (4 hours up and down) GA, to Microsoft Store, Perimeter Mall to get some technical help regarding my surface pro 4. I forgot my bit-locker password, and I required to reset it. I met a technician named Muhammad, who is not interested in fixing my computer. He informed me that my hard drive is crashed and it cannot be repaired. His suggestion was to get a new one or call Microsoft online office and get an old one for $450 (I think a refurbished one) which has a warranty for 90 days. I was able to fix my computer with the help of google. I know now how Microsoft became the wealthiest company in the world (Making people to discard the good /repairable computer and making them buy a new one). Very disappointed

The employees are great but Microsoft itself with its refurbished device replacement policies are pretty poor. Ive all ready had to exchange 3 devices due to defects in their refurbs. Its been a frustrating experience. They have finally offered me a new device with the option for additional warranty. The manager and employees have really stepped up and are providing the customer service Ive been hoping to receive.

I felt guilty visiting the Microsoft store. I was that customer every sales rep hates that came in ten minutes before close. Im pleased to say that no one at the store made me feel bad for entering so late. Every one was kind and welcoming. Though a few employees went home, a few stayed behind. I worked with Wallace and he was incredibly warm and knowledgeable. He helped set me up with the new Surface Pro 6 and helped me get the best deal. I had a great experience and look forward to more trips to the Microsoft store!

I am a tech guy who works for a small local IT and PC company in upstate SC. Was in Atlanta for the weekend, and while at the mall stopped at this Microsoft store. It appeared the only person who really knew anything was the guy at the front helping people try out the nice VR setup they have. I was just looking around the store and the same lady asked me 3 different times if she could help me with some and I kept having to advise her I was just looking. I did have a question about some of the surface pro accessories, which at that point she had no clue about any of them. I expect a lot more from a Microsoft store, even being a smaller store!

My computer was working fine just movinga little slow when I brought it in. After I gave it to them I get a call saying the hard drive was messed up and that I would have to get a new one. They purposely killed my hard drive to make me spend money. Now I can’t use it at all I am forced to buy a new hard drive.

They cant actually do any repairs in store or outside facilities. They are only able to sell you devices without any responsible way of fixing them for the customer. So, if your device breaks, be prepared to pay for a refurbished one with only a 90-day warranty.

I was treated like a professional. The staff seemed knowledgeable without being overly aggressive. This is a smaller box store and felt more focused.

Everyone runs to the Apple Stores, which are always crowded. The Mircosoft Stores are less crowded. The staff at the Microsoft stores are friendly and knowledgeable. The prices are more competitive than the competition.

My most favorite store in the mall! When I cant find Microsoft products online typically they have them in the store. The crew is always very friendly and the sales staff in the back for quick to get me in and out. During my visit over Christmas when it was very busy they had a q line that was set up brilliantly for you to get in and out quick

Terrible experience. Upon arrival ALL employees just standing at opening, people watching, laughing giggling, and talking on their phones. I was sent there to purchase an item which I was told over the phone that Id receive a military discount on... Well apparently the female store Manager doesnt respect the military enough to honor the discount. I was quickly told that there was nothing she was going to do and that whoever I spoke with over the phone informed me incorrectly. I pulled up my past orders in that store to show her that indeed other Managers had honored the discount on very large purchases like $900+. Yet she was determined not to do it herself. I left the store contacted Microsoft Integrity complaints dept and filed an escalation against the store because I felt as though myself and the United States military had been discriminated against.

Always have a great experience when I visit this store. The employees are knowledgeable and friendly and always willing to help. I will not buy a computer from anywhere else.

My partner and I visited this store around 7:30 p.m. on a Monday night to buy a Dell Inspiron on sale. There was only one other customer at the time. We had a pleasant salesman who answered all our questions, and allowed us to look around freely and examine the Dell. When we came to pay, the store manager took care of us. He was very friendly and cooperative, giving us a full discount on the sale price. It is probably worthwhile going to the store at a quiet time when staff are available to give you relaxed, personal attention.

I went in on a Sunday afternoon with a simple question on my Surface Book; the zoom on the screen was not working. I was told to wait 2 hours for an appointment. I persisted but was told in no uncertain terms no would help me unless I was buying something new. I have been to many Microsoft Stores and this one has the worst customer service. I would never go back. Apple would never treat me this way. A very bad experience.

I have been on the phone for 18 minutes trying to speak with someone about my warranty. The only option that is applicable is option 6. It took me to their international customer service desk. They are now telling me that I selected the wrong option. What other option is there since I am calling about a Dell computer? When I asked them to connect me and help me to speak with a live person, the call was disconnected. No one called me back even though I gave them my number at the beginning of the call. HORRIBLE service! I just called the store number that they gave me (it is the same one that is on the website when you google them) to only find out that it isnt really the store number. It is the number of someone else who answers calls for stores and he is now going to call the store. Microsoft you have to do better!!!! 30 minutes have gone by and I still can not get through to the store to find out about the expensive service warranty that I bought. Total time spent 45 minutes!!!

It is Ridiculous that you buy a pc to work on and in less than a year it shuts down and will not start up and when you call tech support you wait on line for hours playing push button he’ll in an attempt to get assistance then you show up at the store before it opens for help only to be told you have to make an appointment, I opted for the Microsoft in stead of apple because of the ease of use of the pc I should have looked at the ease of CustomerCare apple bends over backwards to help customers, Microsoft could care less great culture mr gates maybe the ghost Steve Jobs should be an inspiration

They sold me the assure program which covers up to 5 computers repair services for 1 year. The technician told me they service any brand including mac. Well, Today I gave them my MacBook to repair but the new technician refused it and said they dont work on mac. So what was the whole lecture the first technician gave me about them working on any brand no question ask? Please get your facts together and homer peoples time.

It’s unbelievable that I wasted 25 minutes just to TRY speak to someone at their retail store! Worst customer service I’ve ever seen. To not be able to call a store is absolutely OUTRAGEOUS!! I was in yesterday and before driving 20 miles to go back today wanted to clarify some things and literally could not get anyone to put me through to the retail store. There were MORE employees there yesterday than customers and there’s NO WAY that they shouldn’t be able to get calls transferred to them immediately when the gate keepers at MS finally get on the phone. I am going to buy the Apple MacBook Air instead...that’s how disgusted I am with how I was treated today. Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service.

Colin was a total angel. I came in on a referral from an online Microsoft Specialist. Colin is helping me up my Microsoft game in 2017. The email confirmation said that I would leave an expert and Im surely closer than I was before.

This Microsoft store is rather small. It has the essential in the and it was hosting an online game play while visiting. It was quite disappointed that we could stand behind the team and watch them.play.

My experience at this store was less than stellar. After purchasing a new Dell laptop for my father, I had to return it to the store after three months due to a motherboard failure. The person in the store helping me was nice enough when I made the return and offered to replace the computer with one of equal value. Unfortunately, the store manager would not honor the offer. Thus, the computer was shipped off for repair. It took weeks for the computer to be repaired (yes, it was during Christmas) but it is still not working properly. Since then, good customer service has sorely been lacking to the point that my sister was told that I shouldnt have purchased the computer in Atlanta when my father lived in another state. Really? What they should have done is replace the computer. I would have gladly accepted another one of equal value since the model I bought is no longer available, or I would have paid the difference for a higher priced machine. I hope other Microsoft Stores are not like this one and stand behind the products they sell.

Went into the store to resolve issues with Surface Book. Our technician Tenisha B was awesome! Extremely knowledgeable, friendly, patient. Tenisha stayed with us until issue was resolved and even moved screen protector to replacement Surface Book. Tenishas outstanding support turned what could have been a frustrating issue into a pleasant service experience!

My Xbox One had died, I was sure of it. I already tried a few things of my own and took it to a standard repair place and nothing had worked. This store was my last hope so I scheduled an appointment and took it in. I was seen right away and he confirmed my suspicion, my Xbox was bricked, nothing could fix it. Seeing my sadness, he went and talked to his manager and came back saying So I explained your situation with my manager and he hates that this has happened to you, he wants to make it up to you... He went on to explain that he will trade in my current first gen Xbox One for an upgraded Xbox One S for no price increase (I was offered $115 to trade in my Xbox One for a refurbished one of the same model). This was great news to me, and it really felt like they were genuine on trying to help me out. It sucked that my Xbox had died but in the long run, I was able to upgrade to a better, sleeker, faster, model. Customer Service was amazing, the employees all seemed to really love what they do, the store was clean and had all sorts of gadgets you could play with. I will definitely come back to this location again for any Microsoft purchases or needed assistance.

I checked out this store for the Lumia 1520 phone.. They had a large selection of phones, tablets, laptops and even an area kids could play Xbox games on. The staff was very friendly and didnt bug me a ton like other stores.. They asked if I neede help and when I said no, just looking, they let me be. Nice folks. Oh and its NOT a kiosk as someone else said. its a rather large store.

Worst experience. A guy who works there has a worst attitude towards customers. Rude and unprofessional. They just come up with some discounts that are not normally provided by Microsoft and make you wait for an hour saying they are processing the discount and later come back to say that there are some conditions apply for the discount which makes you pay the actual amount for the product. It’s worthless visiting this store.
