I loved this place! Shawna is so nice and informed, and really takes her time with you! I learned a lot in my 30 minutes there- its not your average experience, its better! They start with blood type and food, because where else would we naturally get our vitamins and minerals? I wish Id learned about this place years ago! Will definitely be returning for things like stress tinctures, healthy food, and anything else I might need after the detox period! (they want you to eat right and detox before just giving you pills- brilliant and kind, in my opinion.)

I just ordered the wild salmon chowder and elderberry, ginger and herb tonic through door dash and it was delicious. The complimentary ginger chews are wonderful and very appreciated. I will have to come and see you soon.

Always great place to hear about your blood type with foods you eat. The food is fresh and good. The drinks and snacks are excellent and the lectures of blood type and lectins you should avoid for your blood type are great. Grab a water for what your needs are its a glass gallon jar dont toss return and pick up more when you finsh and you get a cheaper refill rate.

I really liked this place. They told me some things I need to know. Try one of the drinks behind the counter. They have all kinds of stuff according to your blood type😳. You might not like giving up stuff, but you will be healthier and happy in the long run. I hope to see results in the coming months🙏🏽

I was so excited to finally get an opportunity to learn about this location. I walked in and NO one acknowledged me or the 2 others that walked in. We just stood in the door way for few minutes. One person walked back outside. I stood in the small space waiting to just try and figure out what was going on. I eventually tapped the lady in front of me. She said it was her first time. She was super helpful. Then I stood at this table in the middle of the floor for at least 5 minutes. The person(I later found out) who owns the business walked pass me several times before even saying anything. I eventually stopped the tall young guy and asked about the process. He was super helpful. He gave me a blood type kit and said Id have to complete it in my car. Because parking is soooo terrible I was down the street. The owner walked by and angrily said she has to move her car and kept walking. I continued being open even though that voice inside said LEAVE! I paid $20 for the test and headed to my truck to move closer. I heard the owner yell across the small parking lot. When she moves I will meet with her inside! I moved my truck after waiting for an open spot. I completed the test. The owner walked by my truck and seemed to have warmed up and seemed pleasant finally. She quickly looked at my test and explained why my blood type was what it was. I saw some hope in the experience. I went in and was handed a sheet with lots of foods to eat and to avoid for my blood type. Me and 3 others had the same so she talked to the group. She spoke extremely fast. I attempted to write notes. After giving lots of info and instructions she told the group to purchase this large glass bottle of Bronze colored water and a packet of a white substance to lick from your hand. I had tons of questions. Alot of the info Im sure I missed. I walked forward and attempted to ask a the owner question. She stopped me mid question and said I dont do personal consulting on the first visit. That voice inside got louder but I didnt want to believe the disrespectful and rude response was really happening. I said okay maybe there will be details shared once I pay for the brown water and packet.I paid and the staff went on helping others. Im not normally that easily accepting of horrible services. I think I just needed help and didnt want to fight for it in that moment. I walked to my truck thinking what just happened? I am not normally that gullible but felt a sense of anger and disappointment. I got home and the feeling was more severe. All I kept saying was I just threw $50 out the window. There were elderly people in there. Is this how she conducts business? This is on Auburn Ave!I hesitated to even write this review. I know black businesses need support. Black businesses also need to be most mindful of customer service. I hope the owner takes the negative in this and make some positive personal/professional changes. Nothing about this experiences was okay. You may be doing good work but your delivery will drown out the need to be heard. We deserve better.

My mother and I had a great experience. Shawna greeted us and introduced herself. There was a note on the door before entry stating that they were out of the blood type kits. Shawna informed us that everything she recommends is by blood type. My mother knew her type so she purchased the detox and vitamin C. Unfortunately, I do not know my type so I will return on Wednesday when the kits are back in stock. However, I was able to purchase alkaline water loaded with minerals which helped with my sugar cravings tremendously. Drinking the water has significantly reduced my cravings. I havent had any sugary snacks since. I also purchased the lamb jerk chili which was awesome! So tasty and flavorful. I was surprised by the ingredients in the chili, but I cant wait to have another bowl. I wish that I could get my hands on the recipe so that I can prepare it at home. The prices are very reasonable and affordable. Shawna was great! Looking forward to my next visit!

Do not go towards the end of the day, no detox water available :-(. Purchased the energy water, flushing water, and stress/relax mouth spray. As fast as energy, I felt a burst of energy the first day. Definitely worth the drive.

I have been wanting to visit this place for two years now, I finally did & was VERY pleased. It takes me 1 hour & 15 minutes to get here but its so worth the visit. She is VERY knowledgeable, I trust her opinion over a doctors any day. My first detox I saw results and felt better. For starters I want to say you saved my dogs life (get to the details in a min). I came for the first time less than a week ago and I personally was coming because the Josh effect owner Joshua Peltier recommended me to go and do the blood type test. Well luckily for me the young lady was walking in right as I was about to leave. I was surprised by the results of being b positive and not being able to eat chicken and other items I adore secretly. So I went home with my items and took them as directed minus the olive oil, jbh. Any who, I noticed I had more energy and overall felt vibrant, but a few days later my dog took ill and Google had me thinking he was dying. So I started giving 4 oz of the water to see if he would take to it and surprisingly he was. He hadnt eaten nor drink much in 3 days but I was happy to see he drank my detox water. What really surprised me was that he got more energy and begin eating more. His lethargic mobility improved and he is getting back to his old self. Im not sure if it was animal friendly but I had my dog 10 years and I never saw him like this and prayed for a miracle with this water. I just had a horrible experience with the Vitamin Lady. I was referred by an existing client and was never told that she only sees new clients on Wednesdays nor is it their responsibility to tell her store policies. Most businesses would post that pertinent information on their site and/or in a recording along with business hours and location, etc. I called before coming to make an appointment but the lines are busy constantly, this policy isnt listed on the website anywhere but inside on a black board above her counter. When I came in the store she was not friendly. In fact her demeanor was not pleasant or becoming of a business owner with a potential new client. There wasnt anyone else in the store but me and her and once I told her how I found out about her store, she then pointed at the sign above her counter and said she only sees new customers on Wednesdays. I said well I understand however, this isnt posted on your site nor is it on a recording when you call the business line so how would a new customer know this before wasting time to come here. Her response was that the person who referred me should have told me. Now folks! Come On! That is the most idiotic BS response ever! I really believe in supporting Black Businesses but this is an example as to why some of us choose to go elsewhere. This lady treated me like garbage and as if she is one the same level as Dr. Sebi, GNC, Vitamin world, etc. NOT !!!! I guess she thinks she has arrived with her business and is so successful that she can afford to treat people anyway she chooses too. Well I would not give a damn how knowledgeable she may be about herbs but she damn sure does NOT know customer service. I drove 39 miles one way in the rain to be treated like this. I hope that this review finds her and helps her to get a grip on how to treat customers. Especially one that is geared towards mostly African decent customers trying to support her! Attitude will determine Altitude !!
