I totally love this location. The owners of the store are extremely friendly. Their prices are reasonable compared to other locations in sandy spring. In addition, they will do their best to restock your favorite items or suggest other alternatives. The main reason I go to this location is not only for the pricing but they feel like an extended family unlike other package stores who are more concerned about your purchases over your well being.

Both the owner and his wonderful wife are always a pleasure to deal with and so helpful. I have been a customer for many years now and appreciate their friendship and helpfulness! Great device and very fair prices always! I am always a true fan of mom and pop businesses because they are so incredibly important to all of us and this is without a doubt a wonderful example of what we need more of versus the big box stores that don’t care about their customers. Ever since I moved to this side of town, this is the only place I go for my regular needs. Reasonable prices, and great service. If you become a regular, then they will even do their best to stock more of what you like/ try to get things from their distributors that they dont normally stock if they can.

Johns Package is #1, small business where the owners take a personal interest in each of their customers. The kind of store that will remember your name and keep your favorite beverage in stock. Longtime satisfied customer of 5+ years, I wouldnt shop anywhere else.

Was looking for a particular rum brand, which was not in stock, but the staff directed me to a companion brand, which I bought. The store is smaller than others I have been to, with most of the inventory on shelves along the walls. It is handy and local.

First off, this place has the wildest parking lot. Do not skip leg day if you plan on making it from the parking lot to inside the store. The slope/angle here is not to be played with.The store has a good selection of beer, wine, spirits, and mixers. The staff are really friendly. Closest store to my house so I will definitely return.

In the neighborhood of a Great city; this is the store my parents went to when I was in pampers. The Hill is @ LARGE ! Dont be afraid to burn a calorie or two on the trek. I always enforce the emergency brake just as an extra safety precaution.As you enter the shop, the first impression does seem to be needing a little TLC, but thats not a deal breaker. As long as the interaction is friendly & they have what I need; im a happy camper.Nevertheless, they offer a tremendous selection of anything your palate desires. The products on the shelves are properly stocked & presented efficiently. The Owners take a considerable amount of pride in serving this community.I commemorate them for their time. They welcome me with a friendly Hello every time I pop in. Ill be back soon Friends.

My go to place for spirits. We love John and his wife, they always greet us with a smile. Have stocked our favorite rum Krakken even though we are one of the few that buy it. Love this shop, these people, and highly recommend you stop by.

Johns Package seems run down from the outside but inside youll find an amazing selection with a lot of really good stuff! Japanese whiskey, Empress Gin, and I just got the 100th Anniversary Grand Mariner there the other day!This place is fantastic and if they dont have something, theyll try to get it for you. Love it!

Nice store, nice prices, great staff, and huge selection. Make sure you show up on Wednesday’s between 6 and 8 for free sample Wednesday, where you can open anything in the store for a taste! (That last part about Wednesday’s is a total fabrication).

This place is great. I come in here all the time and I can say that they take the time to get to know their customers, and Ive seen them tweak their stock based on feedback more than once. Fantastic owners, I swear if they had a lounge area I would sit and drink there. More than you can hope for from your run of the mill liquor stores.
