Dropped my car off for A/C repair. Got a call less than an hour later with outrageous prices. When I told I dont want the work I get told its $115 to get my car back. Nothing is free I get it but $115 and you didnt do anything but call about some parts. Obviously Im upset and this man goes to cussing and foul language. I wouldnt go here if I were you, they will rip you off. I got estimates on work I didnt ask for the sum of $2000, I got my ac repair for $500, this guy is a scam artist!

Fast, terrific service. Had all 4 brake rotors and pads replaced. Took 2 hours with a minor snafu, and they did a great job, plus 5% military/first responder discount. My car will need more stuff done in the future, and Ill definitely come back to them. If you work on NavSta Mayport, theyre worth going to, especially if you have your own parts you want installed (like Bosch) rather than generic stuff.

Recently got some work done here, they were awesome! They did a great job, great prices and offer military discount. The owner was super nice and had a nice conversation while I was waiting for my car to be done. He gave me some background on his life and how he’s been working on cars since he was 8 and has owned the shop for over 20 years! Definitely will only be coming here for my car needs!

John was absolutely wonderful and I would recommend this place to anyone for all repairs. I took my truck in for a quick rear differential diagnostic and John checked out the entire under carriage of the vehicle, noticing 2 additional issues I have been having and could not figure out (i like to do my own repairs). A major oil leak I was experiencing for years I thought was going to be an expensive fix, turned out to be an easy gasket replacement. Further, some roughness coming from the rear when I would hit bumps in the road John noticed on the test drive. He located the source of the problem, the rear shackles were not the right size. Another easy fix for him. The repairs were quick and they only had the vehicle for a couple hours. Not bad at all for repairs that were not planned at the beginning. I owe him majorly and the pricing was much cheaper than expected, with a Military discount. And lets not forget the tire plug he hooked me up with, when a nail was discovered in the tire. This will be my new go to place and HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, they know their stuff!

Amazing. Went in about 9am for an oil change (no appointment) and was out by 935. A little confusing as there are 3 entrance doors around the facility but was greeted immediately and treated very nicely by Mark/Mike (cant remember). Very friendly and talkative and Will definitive urge you to get more things replaced but thats everywhere, and only mentions things that are obviously in bad condition. No scams here (I think). Free coffee. Dont let the shabby appearance deter you from coming! Nothing fancy but the attitude/environment here is great. $69 for full synthetic. $34 for regular. Air filter replacement $19.99.

This place preys on young Navy Sailors. This guy will tell you right away how much it might be without even looking at the car and it WILL be that much. (This also happened to my GF, only 2400 bucks) Pretty coincidental if you ask me. Last year, I had a check engine light come on and the car started rumbling. He told me that he needed to replace the spark plugs and the fuel injectors. I paid him 1100 dollars to fix my car and a year later I have the same problem again. I go into my car and discover that ONE of my new fuel injectors is clogged. This obviously the same issue, yet I was able to clean my fuel injectors for about 10 bucks and a trip to AutoZone. He also told me to make sure I bring it back if have any more problems.Like what? Another clogged fuel injector? Maybe next time hell replace another part that isnt broken! Save your money and go to a business that doesnt rely on inexperienced young people for their revenue.

Stopped in for an oil change. I was in and out very quickly and the owner was extremely friendly. I will definitely return for service, repairs and oil changes. The price was very reasonable for my Toyota Tundra which uses 8 quarts of fully synthetic oil approx. $100. I really liked that they did not try to up sell me on unneeded stuff like air filters, wiper blades etc. I believe they offer oil change discounts on Wednesday as well. This full service shop can do work on brakes, engines, A/C repair and pretty much anything else. I just moved to the area so I was nervous to use a business I knew nothing about but I am extremely happy I chose them.

Today I walked in for an oil change, tire rotation and power steering belt issue. This shop took me in right away and provided great service. After telling him I was preparing for a road trip back home to Miami, he was thoughtful and diligent enough to fill up my spare tire. Great place.

Identified a few minor issues that while I was aware of them prior, other shops had overlooked.Cons- no fault of his own but his parts supplier sent the wrong parts delaying my repair by a few days. Not his companies faultSmall staff- repairs might take a small bit longer than other shops but the proof is in the pudding. My front axle came out of his shop looking bright and clean like a new unit.Overall he will be my go to shop for repairs for the future. I genuinely trust this place and know theyll take care of me and my car. Whenever I need something checked out, John will go for a ride with me, and he ALWAYS knows what the problem is without even doing anything. Of course, he still checks it out to make sure and everytime, he was correct. He thoroughly explains to me what the issue is, and I try to remember and keep the knowledge in my head. Unbelievably fantastic customer service and helpful suggestions. Engine light came on due to #5 cylinder misfire. After the resolution of the misfire, there were difficulties getting the code to clear so the engine light would go off. Within an extremely short amount of time, the misfire and coding reset were successfully handled. With working full time and being a single mom, I surely appreciated their sincereness to help, professionalism in listening to my concerns, and timeliness in getting me back on the road. They even provided me suggestions of what to look out for in the future. I will bring my vehicle back here every time for service.

Absolutely hated it. They were very rude about simple questions just because we called them out on the fact they tried to charge us twice as much as the job called for. The owner yelled at me for asking about a oil pan gasket, and they complained the entire time just because we bought our own parts, they tried to charge me for removing parts that my car didnt even have after fighting with me over if my car was four wheel drive or not. (I believe I know my own vehicle) they didnt finish the job on time what so ever. And when went up to look at it (after they called us too) and the guy yelled at the mechanic in front of us for fixing a part that he wanted us to replace.We paid for the job in full (even though way over priced) and then when our neighbor picked it up for us he told our neighbor we owed him money!

Lied about service. Charged me $200 and took 2 days to fix a loose negative battery terminal cable which failed again in less than 2 months. When asked about it, gave me the run around and said I needed to bring it back in. Also if you go, get ready for a speech about government conspiracy, he has his facts straight it could be 200 or 2000, I dont know which .... Maybe thats why you didnt fix my car, could be 12 or 120 volts, I dont know which. Clown. Ill never go back. Also had the nerve to ask me ( when I said it wouldnt start ) did it have gas in it? Im a 48 year old man and youre gonna ask me if the car had any fuel? Cmon man.

I put my car in before xmas. They didnt contact me w an estimate until Feb... The same month they put a mechanical lien on my car saying they didnt think I was coming back for it which is very stereotypical. They sent my car to auction the same date the income tax were released since I couldnt make payments previously. My personal belongings are still in the vehicle, they wont release any info and i.m willing to pay for my car still. No bill of sale on whether they made a profit or if they owe me money. Been coming here for a couple yrs, because of great price and good service. But today stood out. I come in for a standard oil change, as usual, about $30-$40. Waited almost 2hrs, I wasnt the first car. (No problem). Ended up being charged $92 and told i asked for full synthetic service. Dude never asked me what type of oil change, my car is in the system, so I figured he went by what I always get. So i asked how am I being charged $92, ivw never spent more than $40 here? He said you said you wanted synthetic service. I said, so I waited almost 2hrs and youre charging me for a service I didnt ask you for? He said, its only been 30mins, you got here at 9 and its 938. I said dude its 1038! He said, well, I looked it up, and it recommends synthetic for your car. I DIDNT ASK FOR THAT. He got me. I paid, I mean what can i do. But they lost a loyal customer. I can handle a mistake, but dont lie to my face.Not to mention, I was in my navy uniform and he didnt have the decency to give me my military discount thats standard.

A+ Service, prices are good, very friendly and understanding! Ill explain. At 5pm on friday I brought them my VW Golf R after my hobby shop front brake and rotor job, they put it on a lift, diagnosed I had been sent the wrong brake pads. They ordered the new pair and kept my car overnight to install the new pads first thing in the AM. They were sent the wrong pads aswell but obviously recognized it and then the manager spent 3 hrs on the phone helping me find these specialty pads locally, otherwise I would have had to wait till Tuesday before I got my car back. Its 1:45 By the time I picked them up and get back to the shop and they close at 2 on Saturdays. Needless to say they stayed late finished up and made sure I was good to go. They kept my car overnight, stayed late on saturday, went above and beyond in my opinion to locate pads in the area for pick up and I paid less than what both front and rear pads cost me together. I will be taking my car to ABC from now on if I cannot do the job myself because they are priced well, a friendly local business that also takes care of vets like myself.

**PLEASE READ ALL THE WAY THROUGH**Back when I was in my early 20s they did not have Google Reviews. I filed a complaint with the BBB and it went on his record. The owner refused to respond. Our family got screwed over twice by this company. We had just spend too many years in between repairs that we forgot they were the ones who screwed us over. I will only speak on my experience there and not my mothers.My brother said that I could have his car if I got it fixed. He said the gear shifts were not working but everything else should be okay. I thought, great, I really need one.I got the car towed there and told them I wasnt sure of all the problems but my brother said there was something wrong with the gears for sure.They come and tell us the car is all ready to go and I see they have it parked ready to drive out (deception).I was very young at the time and didnt have a man with me and just believed them when he said its running, fixed and ready to go.He said, Lets go get your payment. I went in and paid.Here are your keys. (knowing full well that car wasnt going anywhere.)I went out to the car and couldnt get it to move an inch. Car was still broken.I went back in and told him the car wasnt working. He said, Oh, there must be something else wrong with it. You will have to pay more money or we keep your car.I didnt have any more money. He ended up keeping my car.Now, my issue wasnt that there might have been something else wrong with the car, that kind of stuff happens. My issue was the deception. You are supposed to run and test drive a car for a while and at least start it up multiple times before handing it back to the customer. Also, he did not tell me anything about what repairs he was doing or do a diagnostic and ask if I wanted them done, as I see someone else in his reviews has stated. I think they dragged my car out there fully knowing it could not drive and got payment....as a matter of fact I know it.I told him I wanted my money back and refused and yelled at me and told me to get off of his property. I was NOT yelling at the time. He totally was yelling at a 20 year old girl by herself. So yes, when HE started yelling at me, I yelled back and was crying.THIS IS THE KICKER: He indicated that someone like me wasnt going to pay unless he did it the way he did it.What did that mean? Im not sure. Someone black? Someone who looks poor? Im not sure. But I was in college at the time and did not have money to waste. I had no intentions of screwing anyone over I just wanted things done the correct way.Its funny. I own a business now that I am mid 30s similar to his business, where we have technicians and I would NEVER act like this towards a customer under any circumstances, much less a young girl on her own. Shows you the type of man running this company.He feeds off of the Navy population who moves in and out of there constantly. He always has a fresh, new group ready to go.By the way did I mention he did something similar to my mom years before this! She couldnt believe I told her I went to that place. She said Why didnt you ask me??
