Convenient neighborhood store

This place makes up their own hours & doesnt goby the website hours listed. Pulled up at 8pm this past Sunday & website said they were open until 10pm at that time. The store is always a mess. The staff is so ignorant. They met me at the door & said we are closing at 8pm tonight cuz of covid & it wasSunday. The normal hours had been back to normal but suddenly they areclosing 2 hours early. It was the tall mixed girlnamed Talipia & the short heavy set girl there. They turned away 6 customers that i watched try to go in that night.

Good group of people working it. Kind Cashiers. And full stock when I needed stuff for home.

The staff is really nice always. There is a little bit of a problem with the shelfs being messy. But its not that hard to find what you are looking for.

Shopped with my mask on happily going through the store feeling as safe and secure as I possibly could. Enjoyed my shopping experience at Family Dollar.

This store use to be neat and clean, what happen?? The manager is running around with wild colors in her hair not professional at all and very unfriendly . No one greets you when you walk in anymore. Won’t go there anymore

Perfect for a grab and go scenario. Could be just a bit cleaner and more organized. Last time I was in there things were spread all over and some items were mixed up. It was the end of the day though so I’m sure they usually keep things pretty nice. They always seem to be stocked though and that’s a plus.

At 8 pm the store was close ? And say that close at 10 so whats going on ?

The young skinny black cashier was super friendly and extremely helpful. She is good with her customer service as well

I was shopping and a man came it to exchange a grill he had bought, there were no nuts and bolts inside the box for him to assemble it, all he wanted was to exchange it, they refused to do it, called the police and had him arrested for trespassing, I had no clue that could even be done. I will never shop at any of there stores again and strongly wish no one else would either.

What happened to the old management team the store was looking good. Now with the new management the store is a hot mess stuff on the floor. Also the shelves are so messy the store dont look like the way you used to...

Spent 240$ and was refused the ability to return 4 items with reciept in hand simply because the card that was used to purchase the items was cancelled and renewed from Id theft, manager on duty was extremely rude and should not be in that position I refuse to give them any more of my money and I am encouraging all of my Facebook friends and family to do the same. Utterly ridiculous

Ive been going to Family Dollar for a long time I am just so glad its convenient for me where I live on Mayport road

Store has a lot of merchandise in it and it was kinda messy but not as bad as the last time I was there. Staff was very friendly and helpful

Store has been cleaned up a lot. Management has stepped up a lot. New management also.

Do we live in a world that a store has to be disgusting! The manager is just sitting there complaining that shes the manager but yet her store is an utter mess! I couldnt grab something off the shelf without the clutter stuffed behind it falling! This is ridiculous that a store like this can be so messy!. Instead of the employees gossiping behind the counter, they really should get to work and keep their store clean!

I was very surprised at the quality of the merchandise they carry. I have to say I was very pleased. Most dollar stores are full of junk. Not this one.Check it out, and no I do not work there. Lol

Every time I shop here, I notice this store is always messy and cluttered. The isles have merchandise, boxes and trash on the floor and the shelves are always disorganized with trash and empty soda cans and hard to find what youre looking for. They can at least sweep and mop the floors once in a while. Poor management..

Lately they need to restock the shelves and cooler ... Today they was out of lots of things I needed
