Save a lot at Atlantic City is about to loose a lot of customers because the new female security guard and the new manager are very rude and mean. I forgave them the first time but they did it again today. I wish I can give them _00000 rating aftery todays experience. Save a lot needs some one that know how to be respectful to the customers.

Save-alot has been and always will be Too crowded! The prices are low enough to attract a wide swath of the population, and it does, so please consider widening the aisles! It is a Claustrophobics nightmare!

Im very happy to see its changed I always went for shopping at ShopRite I only went to Save-A-Lot to get simple things I needed but I think somebody bought it and it looks 10 times better. better food better products and the meat looks very fresh. because I live in Atlantic City and dont have to go far now I go to Save-A-Lot to do food shopping now 😊😊

Save a-lot store was very kool. I brought some slippers and some cleaning supplies. Very reasonable prices. Easy to find items. I thought it was a fine store if you really need some stuff if youre around in these parts of Atlantic City. Enjoy

Its ok for some things not really a real grocery store type setting something just to appease low income shoppers best to go to Acme or shoprite if you want a real grocery store their prices somewhat reasonable for some meats

24/7 which is great for all A.C residents and tourists that comes into city. One thing to pay attention for. 11:40pm to 12:10am stores register shuts down. Opens back at 12:10am.30min break I guess for staff. Also stop in and grab a bag of stay true to yourself CARDI B rap snacks my favorite 😋. This store needs a senior line open for when it gets busy. Should have more than one line open anyway but when its more than 10 ppl in line and some maybe seniors their needs to be a line open for them. Senior check out needed.✌🏾 #GOTTAGOGOODBYE

The prices really arent that great, depends on what you get. They also dont have a big selection. Take what you can get, but its the only super market in the city. Other grocery stores here are way too expensive, its the only reason I go to Save A Lot....my car is broken, but once its fixed I wont be shopping here anymore. They dont even have carts because people have stolen all the carts. Super trashy people....

Cheap, a lot of off brand names, but seems like good food. Not located in the safest of locations, so be careful.

For the most part save a lot is a store where you go to buy something quickly. Its a shame that their meat department lacks sufficient amount of meat. The cashiers do their best. They are great. But, the shelving of the food needs desperate attention.

Terrible not very clean

No stars store was as empty as a wet paper bag....barely no meats but had plenty of pork, beggers outside asking for dollars bfore u can get into the store. I wont be going back there

I hate to leave a negative review, but this place is really lacking. The produce is almost always on the edge of rotten. Small selection of meat. Small selection of anything in general and its all off brands. Most of the staff Ive encountered has been friendly at least. But honestly I wouldnt go here if there were other options in the city.

I hate this place!!! They are riding a wave, no company, person, or organization has no heart ♥ or want to change... Being AN ISLAND Atlantic City, has A VERY difficult time providing the foodstuffs ANY OTHER normally functional city has... There is an ACTIVE monopoly, on the food supplied to Atlantic City... They can set the price, and corner the market... The product is dated and or FIFTH RATE... Theyre selling it at ABOVE retail... And have FROZEN, fresh meats on display... If THATS going on... I can only IMAGINE what else is or isnt... But nobody cares. This wont go ANYWHERE!!! Im sorry, this is the only platform available, because my city NEEDS HELP!!! DEARLY

Very bad, upon my arrival the parking lot and out side the store/liquor store was filled with homeless, asking for change and cigarettes, at the door of the save alot was a man trying to sell his EBT card, Id stay far away, run in grab something, the store was pretty much empty like something out a Walking Dead episode.crackheads all in the store with no masks on, during a pandemic this is unacceptable.

This is the store I almost always go to a couple of times weekly. The prices are reasonable and the emotes are ordinarily friendly. There are some people that have a thorough knowledge of the store. The only issue isoitering, and makes me want to bring pepper spray just in case. I am Glad there are arm3d guards, though

This is an ok place. I believe this store is designed for low income people. Most of the stuff is good but they dont always have everything you may need but at least 75% of your common groceries

Bad area to go

Not the greatest grocery store but it’s alright when you need to get a few things. They don’t have everything but it works. Some prices are not too bad. Always one cashier open sometimes 2 if lucky. The loitering drunks and druggies outside make me very uncomfortable and there’s like 20+ of them everyday.

Need to clear out the rift raft hanging outside this store and others in this plaza... God forbid if i had to stop at the store to grab something while my son was with me! The way way they talk out there and sit in front of the liquor store drinking, and approaching everyone asking for $ or a ciggarette.. Sav a lot does have a guard standing duty and its not there fault. But not a feeling of a safe shopping experience.

Prices are pretty great and you can get a good amount of groceries at very fair prices, but the good ends there sadly. The selection can be somewhat limited, and the area/location is terrible. Many homeless and drug addicts loiter the area outside and try to make their way in. Staff is usually professional but some obviously dont want to be there.When it comes to frozen food occasionally the bags on top in the coolers are half thawed already so be aware.

I like these food in Save-A-Lot and easily prepare for cooking also those frozen food.

Not a real quality place to shop

You pack your own bags and each bag is 11 cents. Was not aware of this but the cashier told us. It should be a sign with this on it. Produce was fresh and lots of sale prices.

Rough crowd in parking lot. Shoplifting is a team sport inside SaveALot. Worst grocery store Ive ever seen.

If youre not a local it can be a rough location, they hardly ever have any carts available if you go during a peak time.... Staff is usually friendly for the most part, but it seems like theyre completely understaffed and managed.. besides all that,great prices, you cant beat them anywhere.... but bring your own bag and or what I do is take a cardboard box if you can find any empty ones in the isle otherwise you have to purchase your bags for your groceries at the end..

I like shopping here not alot of nb things to get but honestly other than that its okay if your on a budget or you need food at times better to shop at walmart or ect.

Went there once while on week vacation. Prices were decent. Not alot of choice on each item, it was basically one item brand choice. But for the 10-15 things we got no complaints. Yes you do have to either bring your own bags or buy bags there just for heads up! Staff was very friendly to us!!

A bit messy

This store is horrible..in a low income area of Atlantic City,no real products for the community..produce dept is terrible not a variety of veggies...no spinach..also stereotype cause of the neighborhood..not many varieties of that many products period..limited and basic,meats are poor and alot overpriced....not all meats are offered here or seafood..no deli...sad this the only market in Atlantic City..taking advantage of the poor...with high priced limited meats..no oxtails,turkey chops,sausage links,just horrible,fresh liver..let alone the veggies..no romaine lettuce..or bagged..rarely any brand name products...the Security guard followed me around the store when I always make purchases...and had no understanding..never stole and also been kind shopper...the register lines are super long only like 2 cashiers..this store degrades the black Community....takes advantage of the poor..and the store is stereotyped for poor blacks..and minorities..with limited products of choice..and high priced meats..especially..1st of the month..shelves are not always stacked..one time I went in and only a couple packs of meat early mid evening....always no garlic powder first of the month...this store is Sad..and the City should do something how they take advantage of the poor.and degrade the Community..with such poor service..knowing this the only grocery store in Atlantic City...Terrible..Beware..They need a better quality store like Shoperite..for people..of choice with families..and people can spend there money in better products of choice.For.All incomes of the people...and better shopping experience..This store is degrading...the Community..

The meats looked picked over, over priced and uncared for. No access to shopping carts We were carrying around a box with the the items we wanted to purchase.

Basic grocery store with any and everything you could need to cook most any meals. They sell at a discount price, as the location can be quite intimidating to the high end shopper. You will find what u need and leave safely.

Had to do some quick grocery for halting a few days at Atlantic City, found everything me and my son needed and the young guy who was filling the shelves helped us find what we needed quickly.

So sad that Atlantic city has to have a grocery store as low budget as this store, theres never enough cashiers, lines backed up 10 deep, the selection of food is either going bad or out of stock, and how many grocery stores do you know that has a armed guard at the front door that treats most as if their bags are filled with stolen goods. with a population of people that have a need for a local grocery store due to the over priced small stores such as 7/11, etcetera, we need a store that will respect the good people of Atlantic city, we have been taken advantage of for far too long, we need help, our city government, with the unfortunate crises at hand, need to turn their focus to the good citizens of Atlantic city, not only in time of reelection......

Actually, to the poster who wrote that it must be an Urban thing as to the reason for never enough cashiers. No its NOT. I live all the way down here on the Florida sw coast and our little store is in an all white area and is consistently short staffed!. Deals are fantastic, but never enough help!

This place is for people who like processed foods, the produce is the only food items I liked.

Good assortment of items and good prices. It is a warehouse type store, so you should bring your own bags or boxes, and you pack up your order at the end, which is how they help keep prices low. Not everyones cup of tea - but you will save money.

Before recently I hated that they never have enough cashiers but the past few visits have been good. I seen 3 lines full when I walked in and by the time I walked up to check out they were gone. They have made much improvement. Great staff for the most part. Seems theyre in check. I did not like reaching for a bag of chips and seeing mouse poop and holes in the bags a few times but they have seem to correct the issue. Its been very on point.

It was a waste of time. The cashier was nice. Didnt have a variety of foods. Couldnt even find jugs of water. Sparse food selection.
