Have been a customer for over 15 years and have never had a problem. Price is always very fair and their service is exceptional. I was with another oil company before them and was never happy with the price or service. Switching to Dal-Trac was a great decision for me.
They have the best prices around and speedy deluvery(usually next day)
A couple of months ago we ordered oil and never received it. We also didn’t have a receipt in our mailbox which is always there. We paid with credit card over the phone so we were concerned about what happened. The lady on the phone was totally unsympathetic to the fact that we spent $300 and received nothing and proceeded to tell us that we need to have our oil gauge looked at because she had an invoice in her system so we DEFINITELY got our oil. She hung up on me three time because I insisted that this couldn’t be the case and to check with the driver if he passed by. After hanging up on me three times, she called back to say that she contacted the driver who stated that he delivered the oil to the house next door. I told my husband that we should switch companies and he convinced me to give them a chance because the lady on the phone promised us 100 gallons of free oil for our trouble. When I called to order oil a few weeks later she mysteriously forgot the entire situation and stated that she had no authority to promise that so she wouldn’t have said that. To me, it seems like she’s calling me a liar. Two days ago I ordered oil and gave my credit card number over the phone. Our oil tank is almost empty (we have been out of town) so I called to make sure they could come the next day which was a Friday. Not only did they not run my card, which I thought was weird, they didn’t deliver the oil because they made an error and didn’t process the payment. So the driver went home for the weekend and we are stuck waiting for Monday to get oil. I asked them to run my card right away to make sure they charged it and guess what....still no charge on my card so I’m assuming that we won’t be receiving any oil on Monday. I’m seriously disappointed with these people and if we stayed with them after the first debacle it’s because they have good prices. So the two stars I have are for the prices of the oil. We’re definitely looking for a new company after this.
I am a long term customer and the receptionist was very rude on the phone whatever it is, it is. Poor customer service.
Everyone from Dal-Trac has been so nice and helpful. We just moved to the area and this is our first home. Dal-Trac has been great to answer my questions and walk me through the process. They have done 2 emergency deliveries without any fuss or extra charge and have been patient as Im trying to figure out keeping up on oil. The price is always cheapest too. I would recommend them to anyone!
I’m re-posting this from the Attleboro Police Department Facebook page:On the bitterly cold evening of 12/28, the APD received a call for assistance from the manager of a local trailer park on behalf of an elderly resident there. The resident was without heat, as a result of an issue with his oil burner. He had attempted to contact his oil company for emergency service, but was unable to get through to them. The resident tried to get other companies to come out, but because he wasn’t a current customer, they would not service the burner.Sergeant Steve Beaudet of the APD POP Unit, and Melissa Tucker of the City of Attleboro Council on Aging went into action to assist the gentleman. They contacted Attleboro-based Dal-Trac Oil, who immediately responded by dispatching an oil truck to the gentleman in needs’s residence. In short order, the driver was able to diagnose and fix the problem with the gentleman’s burner, ensuring that his home would have adequate heat. All this, regardless of the gentleman not having been a customer. We would like to extend our utmost thanks and gratitude to Dal-Trac Oil for their prompt response and their assistance in providing for the needs of members of our community. This is a remarkable example of serving and protecting, and speaks volumes for the effectiveness of utilizing community partnerships to provide service in times of need.
Great to see a business that is focused on customer care!
Dal-Trac has delivered my oil for, Im guessing 20 years. Always has low price. Dependable.
Just purchased a house; the closing was delayed a bit and the tank ran dry yesterday. Called Dal-Trac and asked for an emergency delivery, and they had a truck out within 5 minutes, put 100 gallons in, and even showed me how to prime the furnace to get it started again (this is my first house, I havent had to deal with a furnace before).
Awesome service, they go above and beyond.
