Footwork is the place to go if you need a very good pair ofshoes/sneakers. You will be fitted & if you gave foot issues, it is even better to go there. Professional, friendly & helpful.
It is rare in this day and age to find personal service where an artisan with deep knowledge in his craft serves you. It was just pure pleasure visiting footworks today. My father was so pleasantly served and asked questions about his needs that I enjoyed the exchange and the education even more. I hope to visit here in the future. Hope we dont lose service like this....its a breath of fresh air.
Gary and Patty have changed my life for the better. I now walk without pain and discomfort again! Well worth the trek from Boston to Attleboro!
Footworks was a wonderful little place . The owners were fun and knowledgeable, and I got the shoes l was looking for.
Footworks is outstanding. Very knowledgeable and helpful. I will definitely be going back.
Footworks is a great place to shop! They know how to help you if your feet are hurting. The shoes they offer also help you keep on going!
This place is like no other shoe store Ive ever been in, the woman, I think her name was Patti was patient, listened to all my issues and had some really good advice. I ended up getting a customized off the shelf orthotics and some Hoka walking shoes in my wider size
Love the choices of shoes and Garys orthotics have enabled me to walk comfortably again!!
The owner resoled my military boots with new heels and vibram soles!!!! I am In Love!!! Highly Recommend!!! He is a Master at his Craft! Greatly Appreciated!!!
Very knowledgeable and helpful staff, I will recommend to anyone with feet issues
All I have to say is, I was dealing with tremendous amounts of pain in my feet when I walked into this place, and this mans knowledge joined together with his ability to create and modify whatever may be needed to make your feet happy changed my life.If your serious about finding relief and gaining wisdom about what is going on with your feet, then this is the place to go.Thank you so much for your passion and dedication towards helping and healing other people.
Im not sure I can do justice in words for how truly grateful and happy that I discovered this place. Ive been dealing with foot and shoe issues for over 5 years. Id hate to add up the cost of the various shoes, inserts, socks, cremes etc etc Ive tried, not to mention visits to an MGH Podiatrist.Foot Works set me up with shoes, boots and inserts and Im totally pain free for the first time in many years.Great store, friendly and knowledgeable staff and owner. Do your feet a favor and check them out, you will be glad you did.
First visit: Dropped off two pairs of shoes to remove scuffs. Prepaid because the cobbler said too many people were unsatisfied with the work, refused to pay and then left their scuzzy shoes. He also suggested I get the heels evened out so I agreed. Well, after picking up my shoes, I noticed a cut near the instep of my character shoes, a couple of extra places where the leather had scuffed on my boots and the heel of one of my boots had a quarter inch slash going through them so that they are now ever more wobbly to walk on instead of evened out. I asked him to remove the new scuff but he didnt return to the counter for some time as if he expected me to be angry. Then he was surprised that was all I asked for.Second visit: Although I preferred not to return, its local. I asked if the cobbler could put a pair of taps on my character shoes same day, and instead of saying yes or no, he immediately shot at me sarcastically, Why dont you just come in seven tomorrow and really cut it close? I mean, where else would you expect that same kind of service? Would you drop off your car to the mechanic and expect it fixed the same day? Instead of responding as I wanted to, You dont know my life story or that Im a procrastinator and yes, I have had same day service on my car, I simply said, My dance instructor knows of a cobbler who does repair in an hour so Ill just go there. And I did. I drove half an hour out of my way, paid for metered parking in downtown Providence and got excellent service from a professional who didnt require that I prepay, threw in an extra service and charged me $20 even, no complaints.I will do the same from now on. Foot Works will get no more than a second chance from me. It has been some of the worst service Ive ever had both times Ive been there.
Very helpful with correcting issues. Happy to be working with them.
Went to get some boots re-heeled after a recommendation from a coworker. Got them back the next day. Great work for a decent price!
Wonderful service knowledgeable about what would help my high arch, foot and calf pain
Plantar fasciitis bilateral, & cortisone shots, plus foot taping. Went to Footworks, where Patty & Gary teamed up to fit me with orthopedic sneakers & inserts. Also added a buildup under the innersole as well as a padding on tongue ! Will be returning for slippers & Winter Shoes! Thank you !!!!
The owner literally humiliated my mother and In front of the whole store. When I started crying, He got even louder with his yelling, and was belligerent and rude. He’s not even deserving of one star. Take your business elsewhere.
I dont care how well he makes orthotics, this man does not belong in the business. Rudest person I have ever met. I almost started crying in the middle of his store. Hes one of those awful people that thinks he knows everything under the sun, and discredits any other opinions. When I was telling him what prior doctors had done for me (he could barely even listen), he said they had no idea what they were talking about. He is a bitter pedorthist that hates doctors like podiatrists. If you want to be treated like garbage, then sure, go to Footworks.
I have been to Footworks twice & both times the staff couldnt have been nicer and more helpful. I would absolutely recommend this business.
Very knowledgeable, highest quality products
Owner is rude. Very pushy.
