Jason and J. Barbaro are quite simply the best in the business. I went in with a very specific vision in mind for my Tuxedo for my wedding day. Jason was extremely attentive, detailed, and particular in his process with me - and truly made me feel comfortable and confident with what we went with. I picked up my Tuxedo yesterday and it was exactly what I had envisioned, Jason brought the vision into realty! It is so refreshing to deal with a true professional in this industry like Jason and J. Barbaro, especially when everyone knows how bad other companies can be. I highly recommend anyone needed a Suit or Tuxedo to allow J. Barbaro to take care of them the right way!

First off, Im going to say this as a con to begin with, communication is not the strongest thing here.With that being said however, the staff were short handed, they got all the orders correct for the groomsmen and myself, they were very friendly, super attentive while we were in the store, and got everything fitted beautifully.Overall despite tiniest thing, they did a fantastic job, and deserve the 5 star review. I 100% recommend getting a suit rental from here and for as long as they are in business they have a customer here.

Excellent service. Took my jacket in to get the zipper fixed and they took great time and care to make sure it was working properly. Also got fixed with a nice black suit to replace an old one. Would recommend them to anyone.

Recently we went to the Partridge Creek location to look for a suit for my fiance for our wedding. We decided that buying was going to be better than renting, and we were definitely right. We gave Jason our budget and he got us a custom ordered three piece suit (jacket, vest, pants) in the brown that we needed for our fall wedding, well within what we had budgeted for the outfit. It fits my fiance perfectly, no dumpy looking rental that cant be altered to fit his body and the quality of the suit is very good. The only thing that needed some work when it came in was the pants and Jason tailored them to fit my fiance perfectly. We also got a dress shirt, dress socks, and a tie and pocket square that will match my dress instead of the navy that our groomsmen will be wearing, which Jason suggested and my fiance and I thought was a great idea. Jason was a pleasure to work with from start to finish, and my fiance and I would highly recommend going here if you need a suit (or suits) for your wedding.

The day I went to look at suit with my fiancé for our wedding we choice to come here. They were very professional and help us make great decisions. Stopped in after seeing their signage in the window promoting Jims Formal Wear. I needed to get measured for a tux and the groom is using Jims Formal Wear. They told me there was a $15 fee for getting measured! I have never seen that before from the tux rental business. Their competitors dont charge. This is exactly why Ill be using their competitors for future rental needs. Their clothing is very expensive. ($1500 for a sport coat). Im not in that tax bracket but i have a friend that is and I will encourage him to avoid this place just in principle.

His character is no b.s. and will help you make the right decisions for purchases. He does not push additional products but rather helps you understand trends, fashion and above all when a shirt fits well and why. He has recommended against his benefit when I should not purchase something and has explained other options that would be better even when it means loosing a sale.His work is amazing and fittings are stellar. He fit a shirt for me in minutes and I could not be happier. I will continue to go keep an open mind and learn from someone who obviously knows his stuff. Since I began shopping there earlier this year I have felt better in my own shoes knowing that each item fit me better than ever. We went here today looking for tux rentals for our wedding and the staff was absolutely rude and dismissive to us. I will never go here or recommend this place to anyone. My fiancé is a veteran and I am a nurse, we would never treat people the way we were treated there today. Good luck with business with your poor customer service!

Called yesterday to see if the could measure my son for a tux for a Jim’s Formal Wear affiliate in Farmington Hills they said no problem. Went in a few hours later to get measured and a different girl tells me they charge $10. For an affiliated store this is silly, but I am trying to save time so I pay the fee. When I ask her why the coat size isn’t filled out on the measurement card she says the shop can figure it out from her measurements. Seemed reasonable so away we went Call it in the next day and am told he has to try a coat on. My wife takes my son back to J. Barbaro and they tell her they don’t have kids coats for him to try. When she asked why they charged us for a fitting they couldn’t do the guy there gets all condescending and says something about it’s only $10 dollars. As if the price matters ! I expect the service I pay for at any price !
